Capt Alex, Mike, and Zach did an amazing job. Very professional and friendly. Helped load and unload the tanks, set up gear if need be, provided snack, and water. Thorough dive plan, great communication, and some amazing dives. If you're looking for a charter let this one be the one. Thanks for a great dive trip, we had a blast!

Here at the dock after a 2 tank dive.

We booked two days of diving with Narcosis (2-tank dives each day), and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Captain Alex and his crew were extremely accommodating and checked in often to make sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. This was our very first official open water dive since getting certified, and our dive master struck the perfect balance--staying close enough for safety but also giving us the freedom to explore. He pointed out unique species along the way, which made the dives even more fascinating. Captain Alex runs a tight ship--clear rules, strong leadership, and a personable demeanor. Those qualities are exactly what I appreciate when my safety is in someone's hands. I left each day feeling confident, cared for, and absolutely thrilled with the experience. I would book with Narcosis again without hesitation. We enjoyed every single minute.

Super professional dive operation. Second time diving with them and this one was a real gift, as it was a bad weather weekend and the boat just consisted of my two buddies and one other solo diver, all advanced divers. Captain Alex handled the vessel as an experienced pro should and Chris was a helpful, articulate and knowledgeable divemaster - incredibly attentive and on top of everything. Highly recommended if you're in South Florida.

Great job narcosis! seamless check in process as well as loading onto the boat, telling us where we were to setup, and explaining safety precautions and all the stuff they are required to do. the waves were a little choppy, but once under the water, it was beautiful. the boat was equipped with snacks, water, gatorade, soda, defog, and a little hose for a shower rinse. i had a little panic attack on the surface at the end of the first dive due to the choppy water and being stung by some moon jellies. it was tough getting back on the boat. but once i was on, THE CREW WAS SO SWEET, told me if i needed to yack i could in a certain spot or they had buckets, offered snacks, ginger ale, a cold shower and some super cold water over my head. the guide came over and told me he'd stick with me and help me up on the surface on the next dive. it really made it that much more special. we are excited for our next dive with the narcosis crew, and can't wait for more to come!

On a whim, went on a last-minute road trip with a buddy to West Palm Beach. He wanted to talk to a boat builder, and we also wanted to schedule an ad-hoc dive trip or two for Saturday (we were driving down on Friday). Given our last minute planning, all of the other dive shops were already booked for Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon wasn't looking too promising. However, Captain Alex and crew at Narcosis were ready and able to accommodate us for not only a morning dive on Saturday but also for another two tank dive on Saturday afternoon. Perfect! Guess who just made the top of my call list next time I am ready to schedule a dive in the West Palm Beach area? :-) The boat, crew, and dive sites were all spectacular. Had a terrific time taking in the sights on a few wrecks and several reefs. Experienced goliath grouper, moray eels, several large turtles, and other noteworthy reef denizens, including Caribbean reef squid and Yellowhead jawfish. Can't wait to dive with Narcosis again!

Today was my first ever ocean, drift, and boat dive. I got certified this summer...in Boise, ID. My husband and I were nervous and excited. The crew did a great job making sure we understood everything. It was an non-intimidating and safe trip. We dove Tear drop and 4th Window. The sea life was incredible..mesmerizing. our guides did a great job pointing and telling us about the fish and coral. We saw stingrays, eels, a couple of sharks and soooo much more. We can't Waite to dive with Narcosis again!

Captain Alex and crew were awesome to dive with! Booking was simple, the location was easy to find, and parking was free at the marina. The Narcosis is a large vessel, and due to limiting the number of divers we had plenty of space on board-- making us feel completely safe. The dive masters were very knowledgeable and gave great briefings before each dive. They were also fantastic about lending out gear anyone might have been missing (we didn't have a reel for our safety sausage). We dove with them two different days and saw some great sites. I would definitely recommend them, and if in the area again will be going out with them again!

Easy check in at Riviera Beach City Marina then free parking. Lots of room on Narcosis and great crew, Capt Alex & Divemasters Fuego & Smarty! Sunny weather and 2-3 feet swells. We loved our two dives, Ron's Reef & Diverama drift dives! Schools of fish, loggerhead & green sea turtles, green moray eel, lemon shark. Gear rinsing station on dock and bathrooms steps away from dock. Thank you for taking care of us! We'll come back again!

This is VERY much my kind of outfit. When I called, I didn't get a teenage receptionist, or a shop employee, I got Captain Van's cell phone, out on the boat. This is no-frills, doing it for the love of scuba diving at it's very best. There's no fancy show-room, there's just a boat, a captain, and his crew, and they're all excellent. We met Captain Van on the dock at 7:30am in Riviera Beach Marina, just a few minutes north of West Palm Beach. The boat itself is big enough for 28, although we only had about 12. She's also very fast. In the morning they usually head north to dive off Juno Beach, and we were able to get out to the dive site in about 20-30 minutes. On-board there's separate fresh water rinses for cameras and masks, as well as a warm-water hose to shower with. They provided chips, cold filtered water, sodas, and peanut-butter crackers which was just right in-between dives. Our dive-masters Bryan and Chris were very knowledgeable, helpful, warm, and friendly. We felt safe, well informed, and well taken care of before and during both dives. Wifey and I have 15 and 10 years of experience and about 20-30 dives under our belts. We were the least experienced folks on-board this day. Everybody else had 100+ dives under their (weight) belts. With a diverse group of divers, there were three separate dive groups that went off the boat: spear hunters, photographers, and the main group that went with the dive-master. We had two guides in the water for both dives, taking care of our safety, and pointing out interesting sights. Speaking of safety, I appreciated that they provided signal tubes (sausages) for everybody for increased visibility on the surface. During our two drift dives we saw barracudas, huge porcupine puffers, a giant ray, a hawksbill turtle, goliath groupers, and lots of gorgeous fish. Other divers in our group also saw a huge hammerhead shark and a nice looking moray eel. For equipment, we brought our own masks, boots, and fins, but rented BCDs, regulators, tanks, and wet-suits. They had everything we needed right on the dock, and everything was in excellent condition. For two dives and all the rental gear, they charged $120 per person, which is $60-$80 less than every other shop I called when researching our trip. They were also able to take a credit card payment out on the dock, which was appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Narcosis Dive Charters to a friend, and look forward to diving with them again the next time we're in Florida.

Was in visiting from California so I wanted to do a tropical dive and man I was not disappointed! Captain Alex was awesome as well as the whole crew! The dive sights were amazing. Saw four awesome ship wrecks, sharks, barracuda and tons of fish! Probably my favorite dive yet! Would highly recommend them!

    Great diving with Narcosis.

Alex and his crew are great! Great dive sites, very safely conscious, and made sure that we were happy on the boat and in the water. Have been diving with Alex for many years when he was a member of a dive crew. As the boat captain, he really knows the reefs and will ensure that you dive the best reefs. Dive master Christina is awesome to dive with. She takes her time and makes sure that you have time to explore and take pictures. Thanks guys for a great vacation.

Don't look anywhere else... this is the best crew there is! Captain Alex is awesome, and always finds us exactly what we're looking to see. Finch are Damian are wonderful guides. The crew is knowledgeable and fun, and always make sure our dive is safe and exciting! We love these guys, and are already looking forward to our next trip!

Communication was excellent during both the booking process and the trip itself. Everything was well organized and clearly taken care of. The dive itself was exceptional, with loggerhead turtles, goliath groupers, lemon sharks, and bull sharks all making appearances. The next day I booked a guided night dive at Blue Heron Bridge with Ethan. Once again, the communication was top-notch. Ethan was a fantastic guide, expertly taking us to several micro-environments and pointing out an incredible variety of critters--many of which I had never seen before, even though I had visited the bridge a couple of times previously.

Before booking, we were very clear that we were relatively new divers and had never done a drift dive. We specifically expressed that we wanted to feel safe and properly supported. We were assured it would be fine, but once we were in the water, the support simply wasn't there. There was very little help with weights at the start. I quickly realized I was underweighted and had to go back and get more, which immediately separated me from the group. From there, things only got worse. I ended up alone on the reef during a drift -- something that should never happen -- and ultimately had to surface solo and wait for the boat by myself. To make matters worse, my surface marker/flag device wouldn't inflate properly, and I had to be picked up alone. At no point did I feel like anyone from the team was proactively ensuring I was safe or accounted for. Afterward, the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry you had a bad experience." That was the extent of the support. The diving itself may be beautiful, but the staff's lack of attentiveness and concern for client safety and experience was deeply disappointing. When newer divers communicate nervousness and inexperience with drift diving, that should be taken seriously -- not brushed aside. This wasn't about conditions or bad luck. It was about a lack of care and leadership. I would not recommend this operation to newer divers, and I left feeling unsettled rather than excited about the dive.

He seems to genuinely care about his business and his customers and I think that response is completely appropriate given what occurred. Updated my rating from 1 to 5 stars based on his handling of this situation and trust in his word. -------------------------------------------------- Original Rating: 1 star - 06/25/2026 review. I'll be straightforward: there is no way the glowing reviews for this place reflect what's actually happening here. My experience at Force-E Scuba Center on Blue Heron Blvd was the single worst gear rental I've had anywhere in the world; I've rented in Maui, Bali, and plenty of other places in between. I came in the night before renting to check availability. The woman working that evening was friendly, helpful, and told me no reservations were needed and that they do fittings. Great first impression. I came back the next morning ready to go. She wasn't there. A younger staff member assisted us, and from the very first question we asked, he made it obvious that we were an inconvenience. When we asked the difference between a snorkel vest and a life jacket, because we'd never used one, he was visibly irritated. When we asked how to inflate the snorkel vest, he had the same irritated reaction. Any question we had was met with visible disdain, like we were wasting his time for wanting to understand equipment we'd never used prior. When I asked about fittings and mentioned the woman the night before had said they do them, he just said in a visibly upset manner "no." One word. No explanation. The equipment itself was dirty when we received it. There was grime and buildup which we had to wash off ourselves back at the hotel before we could even put it on. And for the price they charge, a defogger isn't included. You pay extra for that. Every other rental shop I've used where they charge similarly to this place has always included it without the need to ask it. Once we got in the water, it got worse. The snorkel vest I was wearing auto-deflated on its own throughout the entire session, forcing me to stop swimming repeatedly just to re-inflate it. The masks leaked. The snorkels functioned for about half the time and then started letting water in despite a proper seal on the mouthpiece; near the end, the airflow was blocked altogether. It wrecked the experience entirely. We returned everything immediately and mentioned the faults when we did. They dismissed it without a second thought. The return itself was its own ordeal. The older man behind the register told me to go wash the equipment outside in a very rude manner; this had never been shared with us. When I went out and cleaned them, he accused me out loud, in front of other customers, that I hadn't washed them. I told him clearly: "I received this equipment dirty, and it's cleaner now than when I got it." He turned red, started making frustrated noises, and just stood there expressing his irritation with body language while I waited silently for him to take the equipment. He eventually told another employee to "just process the return to get him out of here." I shouldn't have had to defend myself for returning rental gear in better condition than I received it. Pro: They're open late. That's genuinely the only positive thing I can say, and even that led me here, so it doesn't count for much. Con: Faulty equipment that ruined a day of snorkeling while on vacation, gear that was dirty from the moment it was handed over, a staff that ranged from dismissive to outright hostile, a defogger that is not included despite how much you already pay, and a return process where a staff member yelled at me in front of other customers for no valid reason. All of it could've been avoided by going literally anywhere else. Tip: Don't come here. Find another shop. The equipment fails, the staff is hostile, and you'll spend your vacation frustrated instead of enjoying the water.
