We replaced the tire with my spare donut from the back but as those are only supposed to drive 50-70 miles and we had 300+ miles left to go, we needed to buy a longer lasting spare tire or replacement tire. My AAA - freakin useless, my liberty mutual roadside - useless, called every tow company, tire shop and roadside service in eastern Iowa, and in Illinois... not like we were in the middle of nowhere. Found one roadside that would bring a spare tire but they wanted $1,000 card hold..... We spoke to 30+ different places within that hour... Tires24 was literally the only place somewhat on the way that was open late. Someone answered right away, the guy on phone was patient and nice, assured us he would take us, even though we couldn't get there until right before closing because we had to drive below speed limit on the donut. When we got there, Lamont (the gentleman working) greeted us and understood and sympathized with our stressful trip there. He replaced the tire efficiently and was super professional and welcoming. The cost was surprisingly affordable, we weren't there very long at all which was great because we were exhausted. Lamont saved our asses and we highly recommend anyone in the NW illinois area call these guys first for tire and auto issues.

At 3:00, trailer still nit started. They said it would be done before closing. She said since I was a "walk- in" i was at the end of the line. So being told Friday, no appontment required was useless. I called a 2nd Discount tire and was told they coukd get me done that afternoon. I left store in Matteson and set up appointment fir othet store. Had they texted me to cpme back at 6, no issue, but when told it would be done by 2:30 and was nit even strted by 3:00, that is a sign if poor management , they vould have at least sent a 2nd update with later completion.
