    Pierogies!!
    Scott H.

PIEROGIES? They sell frozen pierogies here! How did I not know about this place? Ever since "Smoked and Tasty" in Esco sold/changed formats I've been reduced to Kasia's / Mrs T but those days are over - this place has the good stuff! Will be returning for this alone but will be trying the other interesting unfamiliar products they sell. Who knew?

EURO MARKET ...used to be called Nas Market

This place used to be called Nas Market but is now called EURO MARKET. The man inside is not the most welcoming, but I think he meant well. They have dry foods and drinks as well as cold things. It's a nice market. I got a cold drink to go. I'd like to try the chocolate sometime.

I was very happy to find my favorite products from the Balkans. The attendant was from Serbia, very helpful.

This place is great for trying Eastern Europe food and wine, the staff is super helpful and friendly in picking out items. I've never had food from this part of the world but will definitely come back for Avjar (red pepper spread) Cevapi (sausage) and Burek. Also a great place to get dried meats and other unique items for a charcuterie board

Nas Marker is a great store. Eastern European market that San Diego needed for a long time. I been buying all my favorite products here for a really long time. Store is clean and the owner is super nice and welcoming. They definitely have something for everyone. They also have amazing fresh baked bread ( must try ) they dry meats selection is amazing.

Their customer service is also great and accommodating. I always receive quick replies when I needed to make a change. One year she even created a custom gift basket at our request without much direction and it was beyond our expectations!! Highly recommend if you want some of the best pierogi and sauerkraut. And that garlic sauce is magic!

All so very delicious! My own Michigan Polish/Maliszewski family (I am fourth generation, back in Lincoln Park, and still cook Polish for my family when I visit there) did not garnish savory farmer's cheese pierogis with caramelized onions and scallions dipped in garlic-sour cream sauce or ever add fresh dill to the filling --but it is a delicious touch! ) In Michigan, we boiled them slightly in salted water till they floated to the top, drained the water off, then lightly browned them in butter and served them alongside a dollop of cold sour cream. I am very impressed at the quality of the food here, the lightness of the dumpling dough, and definitely had a delicious dinner in my car, a first for me in the 36 years I've lived in CA. (I brought my polka-dancing shoes along as well, but no band was playing in the parking lot outside!- does anyone know of a place for polka dancers like me near San Diego?). Rita Maliszewska-Farkas

The store was a lot larger inside than it looked from Valley Parkway. They had a lot more items than I had expected. The display was well organized by the kind of items, not by cuisine or culture. Overall it was a clean and pleasant place to shop. For those who regularly go to the Asian grocery stores in the Convoy area, this is not a store to replace them, but it serves the purpose as a neighborhood Asian store that carries enough basic items in a pinch. For that purpose, in Escondido and North county inland in general, this is a great store. You have to visit this store and see what they have that you may be able to count on in a pinch without going down to Convoy. The selection may be less compared to Convoy, but the price seems to be compatible. For those who may not be cooking Asian food, this store has ready to eat goodies like Asian sweets, snacks and ice creams. The produce was fresh. I was surprised to find some Asian culture specific veggies and fruits. People were helpful in finding the items I was looking for. Overall I love the store. Definitely going back!
