Whenever I'm craving lao food in particular, they have all the essentials! The essentials to make papaya and all the sides that's needed. Absolutely love how they have fresh pork rinds available for purchase. Mind you, the one in the picture is a one gallon freezer bag which costs roughly around $12/bag now. Not bad and so deliciously good ;) Also, their jeow bong pairs well with baked/fried chicken and can't forget! The lao sausage from the frozen section. Yum! I love how convenient the store is to my current home, especially living in north county of San Diego. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommended this location for your quick fix.

Wow, this is an excellent Thai/Lao market in Escondido. This market is a step above your average mom-and-pop immigrant store. Here's what I love about this place: - Lots of rare Thai market ingredients that you can't even find in Thai markets in Los Angeles - CLEAN. And the products are new and not expired - They have fresh poultry and vegetables. Again, everything is organized and clean. - They sell fresh sugarcane juice out front. Gotta love that. - Service was very friendly! The women working there are nice and laid back. A list of a few interesting rare Thai pantry items: - Healthy Boy Nam Jim Seafood and Nam JIm Jeow - Champ Thai "luuk chin" or meat balls, the best Thai meatball brand! They also have Champ Isaan sausage - Mama Yen Ta Fo flavor - Thai boat noodle soup powder - Frozen bugs - MegaChef Brown Fish Sauce (harder to find than the blue MegaChef bottle, which is more suited for the Vietnamese palate) - Lots of Sunlee products, rice berry, white pepper, spices

It's basically what we the public throw away in the green cans, and its not organic nor safe beside the toxic chemicals they use to kill bugs. Thats from a former employees mouth. There are mountains of compost, and all you need is a big car (ideally a truck) and some muscle to scoop them up. Mushroom compost is high in salt so you need to be careful not to use too much with fruit trees. On the other hand, vegetables love mushroom compost. They also sell all kinds of mushroom varieties (Portobello, Shiitake, King Oyster, Cremini, etc.) at their front office for a pretty reasonable price (around $12/lb). Overall, a great place to get free compost, buy fresh mushrooms, and enjoy a country scenery ride in Escondido.

Admission is free, but you do pay for parking. You can easily spend a whole day here, so I recommend bringing comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water, and even a blanket or chair. We arrived during a live band set, but seating was limited -- still such a fun vibe. You can also go in and out if you need to grab something from your car. They were grilling up backyard‑style burgers with sides, and it honestly felt like being at a neighborhood BBQ -- grab your drink from the cooler, pick your chips, add your toppings, and enjoy. I loved it. The pumpkin patch is huge and has every type of pumpkin you can imagine. I'd never seen white or black gourds before, but they had them here. There's a lot to walk around and explore, and make sure to stop by the farm shop for packaged nuts, seasonings, honey, and other goodies to take home. First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." I'll just pick up and eat the pizza at home next time. I'm waiting to see what generic CHATGPT response the owner gives me.
