what's not to like? an out of the way "organic" store that sources most of their produce & meats locally. They even tell you where from. it is a full assortment store with more than produce and meat. Dairy, drinks, cider, beer etc. i'm trying to eat less nitrites & was able to get pork belly (bacon, by definition i'm told, has nitrites - celery powder is a "natural" form) and i got it for $8ish a pound, vs $14 a pound elsewhere. read more

Nash's is CLOSED. Do not go there. The building is up for sale. They still have a farm stand nearby but I think it's only open seasonally.

it has re-opened and now ( Sept 2022) keeps regular hours! Ya-hoo! the Corn this year is outstanding- plump chewy juicy big kernel corn!!!

So I've only bought a little bit of produce (all good so far) and my first 16lb pork box... From the udistrict farmers market ... But so far I'm a fan. The bacon is outrageous. The pork chops could be cut thicker but like I said this is only my first box so maybe I can make adjustments going forward. Thawed the ground sausage and going to be cooking that up shortly. I give a lot of my friends a lot of flack for being so progressively-minded and for jumping on the Green bandwagon so freely and blindly. Moreover, I call pretty much anyone who is vegetarian, vegan, or smells like patchouli a hippie. However, I'm slowly beginning to enjoy the benefits of eating local, organic, fresh, and clean. Nash's is a place that lets you do all of this, and more! They own several acreages in the Sequim area, and sell their produce and products at various Farmers Markets around the Olympic Peninsula and in Seattle proper as well. Also, once a year they offer a promotion where you pay $300.00 up front for $400.00 worth of groceries you can use in the future. My guess is that they do this around planting season to raise the necessary capital to get things started for the year. This booklet also never expires and can be used at the actual store, or at any of the local markets where they sell. I had the opportunity to visit their stall at the Port Angeles Farmers Market and their shop in Sequim this week. Both places had a wide and awesome selection of produce and even some things I'd never had before. Today I had the pleasure of wolfing down several golden kiwis and a handful or two of gooseberries. If I lived up in these parts, Nash's would be an almost daily stop for me! This place may have single-handedly transformed me into a hippie. We left with a trunk full of reusable grocery bags filled to capacity with awesome food, and smiles on our faces. Nash's rocks! read more

An ORGANIC respite in the middle of nowhere! This market is almost 100% organic, with a VERY wide selection of food - packaged, dairy, crackers, fruits and veggies, meats... it's a complete market, not a little store! Pricing was very reasonable, and the staff are very helpful and friendly! I picked up some dried fruit, local cheese and crackers, and enjoyed them on a picnic table near their parking lot. read more

The storefront is clean and well-organized, and staff is willing to answer any questions. Made sure to stop by here the other day while traveling to the area for work...a friend has raved about this place for years, particularly the carrots, and I wanted to check it out. Grabbed a couple of bunches of carrots and some onions and favas all grown at the Nash farm, and also checked out the cool goods inside the store and bought a few jars of jams. I get 99% of my groceries here. It looks a little skimpy at first when you first walk in but if you look a little harder you will see that its the quality that counts and they DO have everything you would expect in a grocery store, just in smaller quantities without the 10 different brand options. Everything in the store is organic or they wont sell it. Wish they wold work harder on non GMO option as well. Nash's has come a long way since the packing shed days to be sure! Love this place! Right around the corner from where my parents live, it's an unbelievable gem or locally grown produce, pork and beef. Everything was of the utmost quality, and our Christmas dinner was absolutely delicious using most of the ingredients from Nash's. We all loved the locally raised (and processed) pork breakfast sausage as well as the grass-fed sirloin steaks which were very reasonably priced. I would definitely return. read more

Although the produce is great, I am incredibly disappointed by this store's customer service. I purchased some fruits and vegetables along with an all natural toner yesterday. Upon arriving home (one and a half hour drive) I realized they had not bagged the toner. When I contacted them today they said that nothing was put back on the shelf and that I should check my vehicle to make sure it hadn't fallen out (something I have obviously already done). I have never been treated so discourteously, and essentially been called a liar. I won't buy from them again, and if you do: make sure all your purchases are accounted for before leaving the store. read more

I visited Nash's Farm store for the first time over Thanksgiving. I found many wonderful local foods I had not seen elsewhere, including organic olive oil from California. I have not found that combination anywhere yet, not at PCC, not at Thriftway. But Nash's had it. They also had a local source of sunflower seeds. Everywhere else I have seen them, they come all the way from Iowa, so are out of bounds for me. The music was a bonus, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff were a treat. I look forward to a future visit, next time I am on the Olympic Peninsula. read more

I've been shopping at Nash's Farm Store and their portable store at farmer's markets for several years. You can't find fresher organic produce, eggs and meats except maybe if you grow them yourself. Much of the produce and meat is grown in Sequim either by Nash's or other smaller local growers. Nash is known around Puget sound for growing the sweetest carrots you can find. They're the result of years of growing their own seed from just the sweetest carrot -parent-plants on great soil created by the Dungeness River. In addition to great produce the store offers value added items created by local entrepreneurs. If you're looking for local non-pasteurized milk and milk products you'll find them too. You'll also recognize brands of processed organic and no GMO foods and beverages. Finally the people who work in the store are also a treasure, friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell. read more

Nash's - your pork is amazing - but your communication and customer service skills are completely and wretchedly awful. AWFUL!!!!! I have never bought a whole /half pig before.In January I ask when a I can buy half of a pig. You say - "as soon as we get enough people to buy the rest of it." Okay. I ask "When will it be ready?" Nash's say " well - it looks like we have two people buying a quarter so if you buy half- then we're set - we got one that will be big enough *real soon*. So just put down a deposit today and as soon as its ready to slaughter we'll let you know the hanging weight and give you a call" I call every week for six weeks. Finally I get a hold of the ONLY person who deals with pig sales - no one else on the staff can answer even simple questions about it. I ask " hey - did I miss a call or something? I haven't heard anything about my pork - " Nash's says " WELL - they won't be ready to slaughter until middle of May" Oh. Thanks guys. I thought to myself -I have a whole lamb ready in march - so this is gonna be tough to manage - but I will figure it out.April first I am bringing my lamb - all cut and wrapped home - because THAT farmer gave me clear and careful information and instructions on how and what and when it would go to the butcher shop - being that I told him - as I told Nash - this is my first time. I just got a call from Nash 15 minutes ago( april 1st) " Your half pig is at the butcher waiting for you to pick it up" What? This is not mid may. They didn't even call before slaughter to let me know I would be shelling out all that cash today. THIS PIG BETTER BE THE BEST TASTING THING EVER EVER EVER! If things go better next year - I may write a better review. If not - I will be buying my next pig through Clarks farm. read more

Wow! Everything about Nash's organic farm production is the best. Nash is an "elder" in the organic farming world. The organic produce offered is fresh, nutritious and nourishing. I dare you to compare one of Nash's carrots to an "organic" carrot you buy in a chain store. No comparison in taste, color, texture, and likely--nutrition. The expanded grocery has everything a household pantry needs. And the folks who work there are examples of the love, positive energy and belief that eating good food is all the medicine a body needs. read more

Great fresh produce. Another great thing is that you can get their quality organic produce at local restaurants and Sunny Farms Market. Love that they are at the Sequim and Pt. Townsend Farmers' Markets with a great variety of product. The folks selling are knowledgeable and always happy to tell you about a veggie you may not be familiar with.
