I first went to Nashua Eye Associates when I was experiencing terrible pain in my right eye and was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion by an ER doctor. He suggested seeing an ophthalmologist for further treatment and suggested NEA. They were able to see me the same day, within just a couple of hours. I have had several follow ups and have been impressed every time that I have gone. Each time I have been warmly welcomed and checked in. All of the staff have been very kind and friendly. I have decided to start going there for my routine eye care because I like the idea of having both optometrists and ophthalmologist in the same practice. read more

I​ had cataract surgery on my right eye yesterday performed by Dr Parihk at the Nashua Eye Association in Nashua NH. He did a great job. Very knowledgeable. Let me assure you that he is one of the best. I did extensive research to find the best doctor out there to do this and I was not disappointed. I'm so very happy with my results. I can drive without glasses. HOORAY. All due to Dr Parikh and his staff at the Nashua Eye Association. Also, the office and reception the staff at the Nashua Eye Assoction went far and beyond in their efforts to make sure I had my insurance set up for the surgery. I can't begin to describe how incredible Dr. Parikh is. I had my cataracts removed and relied on his judgement as to which type of new lenses would be best in my case. My 2nd surgery was yesterday & just as in the first, I had no pain and I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I had spent 3 yrs with terrible vision & my previous provider in Manchester had never even mentioned it might be due to my cataracts! The entire staff at Nashua Eye is stellar. I used to use this company, as their optometrist was good. But moved because a) they changed their line of glasses, which were falling apart in less than a year and b) snarky hostile clerk in the eye glass department. Found myself there recently to see an ophthalmologist and asked if I could make an appointment with the optometrist I'd seen before. No, no I can't. Apparently they've an agreement with my insurance company that they will not see this insurance company's patients, EVEN IF PATIENT IS PAYING CASH. How very corrupt. Who knew we were being personally 'owned' by an insurance company?!? read more

I called this location weeks ago (off their sign as I drove by) for an eye checkup. Somehow I was made an appt at the Nashua location. When I went to check in today on time, I was told my appt was in Nashua because thats where I went before. I told the blonde person at the front desk that I had never been to the Nashua office. She proceeded to argue with me and then offered to see another Dr. Meanwhile another customer came up to the front desk and complained that he was waiting for an hour. I left out of frustration and then called the Nashua office. They confirmed that I had only been to the Milford office. Very poor customer service at the Milford location. I won't return. read more

I had the worst vision. It was -6.75 for contacts, and astigmatism. I am terrified of surgery. Dr. Blake and his staff performed all laser LASIK on me in december 2010 and my vision has been PERFECT ever since. During the surgery it took such a short amount of time, the doctor and nurses talked the whole way through, and was painless. Follow up has been consistent and excellent. I had PRK surgery with Dr Parikh last week. He took time to answer all our questions throughout the process. I was very pleased by how quickly he and he his staff respond to phone calls, emails and post any post surgery emergencies. I was experiencing a lot of pain the day after removing the protective lense (day 7). Holly called me back with good advice. Later, I spoke with Doctor Parikh on the phone (immediately) when the pain didn't subside. I went in because he wanted to be absolutely sure it was not infected. I was seen as soon as I could get to the office. No waiting. He resolved the pain (a superficial layer from my eye had been removed by eyelid/blinking). My right eye is already 20/20. So was my left eye before I scratched it. But.... Wow, I am so thankful! Dr Parikh goes above and beyond for the care of you and your eyes. Having eye surgery is scary. I am extremely thankful for being so well cared for and the time Dr Parikh and his staff has taken to make sure I am okay. read more

This place is more of a rip-off than Lenscrafters. At least the doctors there actually spend more than 5 minutes with their patients. Milford Eye has extremely unprofessional staff and doctor. Exception: the male receptionist. The tech did everything including my prescription! That was a first for me, always had doctor do it. The tech and doctor didn't even introduce themselves or clean the equipment before using. gross! The doctor barely spoke to me. She saw me for less than 5 min and I had to ask her what my diagnosis was. The glasses are more expensive then Lenscrafters. I will NEVER go back to Nashua Eye Associates in Milford and will NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Dr. C was outstanding! He was professional and thorough. The staff however never seems to be the same. They were rude and seemed more interested in what vacation schedule was coming up and week end plans than the patient's needs. I will not go there again. With the economy the way it is and insurance covering less and less customer service is where I will spend my money. read more

I have been a patient at Nashua Eye for 18 years when I had successful Lasik surgery. I had a prescription glasses for driving. In 2012, my eyes somewhat deteriorated due to the formation of cataracts which required glasses and I had contact lenses. In late 2016, I underwent cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Blake wasn't certain if he could restore my vision to 20/20 or as he indicated hit the "target" due to my previous lasik surgery. Dr. Blake reviewed my past records and did thorough mapping prior to the cataract surgery. The surgical center had outstanding service both times I was there and explained the procedure in great detail. I am happy, rather ecstatic, to report that my vision in both eyes is 20/20 and I only need reading glasses. I highly recommend Nashua Eye Associates. read more

Dr. Coutu was my doctor at Nashua Eye... He had detected through a routine visit that I had macular degenaration. It was great that he detected the problem, but being hit with that and not knowing exactly what it was at that time and what it meant, I had a lot of questions. Instead of being able to ask questions he immediatly starting talking with his assistant about a vacation he or she had taken! I don't think after hitting someone with that news that you should turn around and not be available! Many years go by and last month I took my two kids there for their eye exams against my better judgement, and one of my daughters had questions about a product out on the market. He made my daughter feel very stupid for even asking about the product. He was also very far behind and we couldn't wait due to my daughter having to be to work. So he stopped with the other patient and saw one of my kids and then my other daughter was suppost to be next and he told us he can't right now he has to get back to the other patient and not in a great tone of voice. So we ended up walking out and I can say this time I will never go back! Two bad experiences out of two! read more

This practice seems to be geared more toward volume sales of glasses (and unnecessary add-on features), and less toward patient care or customer satisfaction judging by their treatment of customers. My husband and I have both had problems with improperly made lenses--which is annoying enough--but the real problem is the resistance we've met to having them properly redone. We were both put off by salespeople advising us to "get used to them." And I did try, but after a few unsuccessful attempts to rectify the matter, I've given up. My husband is more assertive and got the problem fixed, but only after a pointed confrontation. So if you enjoy a challenge and like to hassle with people (and pay for the privilege!), this could be your practice, too. For myself, I'll look for another optometry practice. HORRIBLE!!! If you don't have anything to do for a couple of hours then this might not be a bad trip for you. My appointment was for 9:15. When I showed up I was asked to fill out a couple of forms and then have a seat in the waiting area. The wait was only 5 minutes or so before I was brought into an exam room.The technician asked me a few questions, had me see what line I could read on the eye chart with one eye at a time, then the exam stopped. Appearently another client wanted some additional testing. They brought me out of the room to an area with seats, but not a waiting area. I then waited for about 45 minutes with no explanation of why I was waiting so long. They did however, have time to chat with an employee who had come in with her daughter. While they chatted, the child, who was muddy from soccer was climbing on the fabric seats getting them muddy. Anyway, I was finally asked to go back into a different exam room, and then told that the doctor would be in shortly. After 10 minutes more I had had it and walked out. Apparently the customers time is worth nothing in their view. I think they need to schedule less people at one time to be able to service customers in a reasonable manner. Go to another site if you know what's good for you. read more

I prefer to give no stars! I am new to this area and was looking for an optometrist. I like to keep my business close to home. I thought I'd drop in to Nashua Eye Associates to check it out before making an appointment. I walked in and was not even greeted with a welcoming "Hello, can I help you". Instead, I received a cold "do have an appointment". I explained to the receptionist that I did not have an appointment & why I was there. She continued to be cold & unwelcoming & asked if I had insurance. I told her no I didn't have insurance & would be paying cash. Her response was the cost of an appointment & "I don't know what else to tell you & we don't have any appointments available", in a very stern manner. I told her that was OK because I am taking my business elsewhere. Nashua Eye Associates may be an excellent business but with someone like that running the front desk I will never know.
