Overall: Very very cute and a nice little cafe to study in! We came here while waiting for an appointment. I got the avocado toast and a coconut flavored matcha. My dirty chai was great and my partner got an Americano, which was fine. The coffees came out so hot that we had to wait 30 minutes to drink them and even step outside into the cold air to get them to cool off. His cup started to leak and disintegrate, so that wasn't great. Mine started to get loose at the top and the lid would pop off. Decent coffee, nothing super special about it, but terrible and cheap cups/lids. read more

Nashville Coffees is a local coffee spot tucked away in the corner of the Music Valley Village plaza, which sits adjacent to the Opry Mills area off of Briley. I am always on the hunt for local coffee spots, and while I don't venture to this area often, I decided to swing by for a cold brew and a few vibes...cold brew secured, tbd on the vibes. They have a small menu, but it is outfitted with all the classic coffee shop drinks from cappuccino to lattes, macchiatos and even a few specialty drinks. Additionally, they have a good variety of syrups, even including several sugar free options. Honestly, it's the best variety of SF syrups I have found, and I was pumped (no pun intended) when I saw they had white chocolate SF! I went with the classic cold brew, 20 ounces, and I added SF white chocolate and almond milk. Total before tip was $6.35, which is wild, in a good way, for a large drink! Keeping with that trend, they are priced really well, impressively so. In addition to the drinks, they have a small selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, along with a few pastries in the case on the counter. The space in full is okay, not much to it. A few tables, a couch, and a small stage for live music. It's got a very simple feel to it. As noted above, they have a small stage for live music, because this is Nashville after all. During my trip in, there was a gentleman playing a few acoustic songs, perfect for a slow morning in a coffee shop. Service was okay. The fella who took my order wasn't necessarily engaging. Took my order, told me the price and then flung the screen around for me to leave a tip. Who I assumed to be the owner popped out of the back right after I ordered and engaged for a moment, thanking me for coming in. She was sweet and friendly. Overall, solid local coffee spot. Great experience stopping in for a quick coffee and chatting with the owner! I ordered a caramel macchiato with oat milk, and the oat milk is perfectly frothed and also perfect temperature! Small business. Open early and we'll stay open as late as necessary. If there are customers, they are open. The customer service is great! A store has a nice vibe with lots of cute trinkets and personal touches throughout. Highly recommended and will definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

We came here for a quick drink before exploring the thrift and antique places near by. The shop was clean a little bare, not much on the walls or places to sit. The drinks a vanilla latte and a caramel macchiato took awhile to be made though it wasn't busy. Both drinks were only ok. There was a lack of flavor for both but still drinkable. For around 4-5 dollars for a small is kinda a common price but the drink flavors were lacking. There aren't many options for coffee right in the area so it's a good place for a caffeine boost but not really if you want to sit and hang out with a good drink. I don't order lattes, iced mochas, Americanos, or anything really other than black coffee. In short, I'm an old, uncool guy. I just wanted a good cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got both from two really nice gals working there. Coffee was good and didn't have that bitter burned taste you get sometimes. The croissant sandwich was huge. Cute coffee shop that's tucked away in an unassuming shopping center. It's a short two-minute drive from the Gaylord Opryland. We visited because we were staying at the Gaylord Opryland and were desperate for a good cup of black coffee. (Gaylord mostly serves Starbucks, and Starbucks is no bueno for people who take their coffee black.) We found a nice, nutty cup of joe here at Nashville Coffees. They also sell a small selection of baked goods, including scones, muffins (blueberry muffins and banana muffins, on the day we visited), bagels and croissants. We got a blueberry muffin (it was housemade!) and a croissant (which was clearly not). Two cups of coffee and two baked goods came out to $10 and change, which isn't too bad. read more
