Nashville Hot Chicken - Mesa, AZ Easily one of the best local spots I've eaten at in a long time. The food here hits every mark perfectly seasoned, crispy chicken with that real Nashville kick, balanced out by fresh slaw and the kind of waffle fries you actually want to finish. What really stands out, though, is the owner. You can tell he puts everything into this place constantly checking in, making sure every plate comes out right, and treating customers like regulars even if it's their first time. He's not hiding in the back he's front and center, working hard to make sure people leave happy. The sandwich with the waffle buns and sauce drizzle (see photo) is legit next-level the perfect combo of crunch, heat, and sweet. And those loaded fries? Dangerous in the best way. If you're anywhere near Mesa, this spot deserves your stop. Support small business done right this is how it's supposed to be. Fire ! I haven't been here in months owner still remembers every detail of how I like my order. Phenomenal A1 service. Literally a one man show, treats all his customers like celebrities!!!

Affordable prices/prices on par/cheaper than most fast food restaurants ($6.85 for chicken sando, $12.95 for chicken sando, fries, and a drink). While affordable, I was disappointed at the quality. The chicken was very dry, and scarce. Mild spiciness (we ordered blazin' which is "hot" but felt more like mild). The chicken sando had 1 chicken tender when it should have had at least 2. Half the sandwich had no chicken! I agree with others about the small portion of fries too. Waffle Sando, great in theory, but too much breading and too dry. Luckily there's other hot chicken restaurants!

Cut up chicken tenders, coleslaw, fries, and blazin hot sauce. It was enough for two people plus we took leftovers. It's a shame because it was so delicious! Fries were perfectly fried crispy The tenders were crispy and soo moist! The coleslaw was tangy and delicious. The sauce was yummy and hot and that was the blazin mild Owner was so nice let's get this place busy!!!

Came back a second time because I live so darn close, paid 6 dollars for like 7 waffle fries. "1 refill per customer" on the fountain machine inside. The chicken is decent but these guys are kind of cheapskates.

Came in on a Wednesday, the place is pretty spacious. We were helped quick and he told us it'd be a 15 minute wait, the food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the number 3 combo chicken sandwich plate. My partner ordered a level 7 spice, which he said got his nose sweating but a nice level of spice. I got a level 5 spice which was perfect for those who want a tiny tingle with great seasonings. The buns were perfectly intact and fluffy. The chicken was crispy, the pickles and slaw was refreshing. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. We got a side a ranch which tasted like hidden valley but thicker. Overall, loved everything we ate. They even had sparkling water on tap which we enjoyed throughly.

Twisted tea in the bottle is the best

The food here is always on point. Great Service nice people. I have tried many places and this place I keep going back to it. Thank for the great food and they are open late. The best part is you can grab a beer or a alcoholic beverage

Stopped by on a Friday evening. Clean spot, good vibes, great food and great service! Got a hot chicken sandwich, Mac and a tenders meal. All of it had bomb seasoning and the Mac was SO CHEESEYYYY talked to the owner @ the register and he was an awesome guy who loves his restaurant. Rightfully so because their food was Def gotta stop by!

We were part of a large group, and the experience never felt chaotic or overlooked. The standout was our server, Kate. She brought a positive energy to the table from the start, was attentive without hovering, and managed a large party with professionalism and genuine warmth. It's easy to recognize when someone takes pride in their work, and Kate clearly does. What earned this review, however, happened after we left. About thirty minutes later, we realized we had accidentally left behind several valuable items, including some with significant sentimental value. When we returned, Kate had already secured them and was waiting to return them to us. Her honesty, initiative, and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful situation into a lasting impression. Restaurants are remembered for more than their food. Kate's service is the reason we'll be back.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!

There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. I'll definitely be back for dinner, but I'd probably skip brunch next time.

We were setup in a separate dining area from the main dining room, which allowed for better conversation without added noise. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time we were there, which was a couple hours. The milk bread is an absolute must! It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.
