Guilty as charged, repeat offender! I am stuck on the "One and Only Sandwich"! It is my go to, almost every time. I get mine Fry'd, no spice, dunked in Country Music Sweet sauce, no pickles. The combination of the fried chicken with the coleslaw and both the comeback sauce and country music sweet sauce served on a brioche bun is heaven in my mouth. It comes with a side, I tend to get the hot onion petals. They do pack a little heat as in they will make my nose run or feel like I am going to sweat but they are so worth it. Part of the Tomatto family of restaurants, Nashville Hot Chicken sits on the end unit of the Phoenix Mills Plaza in Victor. I'd seen this place in passing on one of my trips out to Victor, and being a lover of all things fried chicken, knew I had to stop in for some one day. I finally gave it a try last week for dinner and was not disappointed. Small place with maybe half a dozen tables inside. You just go up to the counter and order and they bring your food out to you. The employee at the counter was very friendly, enthusiastic about the food and seemed happy to be there. I ordered the sandwich, fried, medium heat cause I wasn't sure how hot they made stuff, with a side of Southern greens. The sandwich also comes with a homemade slaw and Comeback Sauce on it. Food came out extremely quickly, probably about 5 minutes. I got into it and everything was very good. Chicken has a flavorful, crispy breading, good brioche bun, and the greens side was well cooked with large chunks of ham in them. The comeback sauce on the sandwich was delicious as well. My only criticisms of the place were - 1, the chicken itself was just the tiniest bit tough. The filet probably could've been pounded out and thinner which would've made for a more tender sandwich. I also don't know if they actually brush a Nashville Hot Sauce on the chicken, and I didn't actually see/taste anything other than the comeback sauce. So while the chicken was crispy and flavorful, I didn't find it to have any heat. My only other criticism is the greens were tasty, but could've used something else to give them a little tang and acidity, maybe some apple cider vinegar or something. I love fried chicken, so when I heard about Nashville Hot Chicken I had to stop in. It's a little out of the way for me in Victor, but I was in the area today so decided to swing by for lunch. I ordered the small white combo to go with mashed potatoes with cheddar and fountain drink and it came to around $15. The small white comes with a breast and wing. I ordered it hot, because I couldn't go to a Nashville place and not get it hot! The chicken had lots of meat on the bone and the skin was crispy and had a delicious, spicy flavor. It is definitely hot, but not unbearably so, and had excellent flavor. The chicken was good but I wish it was just a little bit juicier, aside from the crispy skin it tasted a bit dry inside. I expected the mashed potatoes to be creamy and fluffy with cheddar cheese throughout, but it was just a handful melted on top. They were just okay. I wouldn't order them as a side again, but they have lots of other options to try (mac and cheese, fries, coleslaw...). The best fried chicken I've probably ever had. Right level of spice, seasoning, and tenderness, and then some. Sides left a bit to be desired, mashed potatoes are covered in melted cheese, why? Cheese formed a hard shell and it was pretty gross. What an interesting and tasty find! Stopped in on my way through to try a unique place. I've been to Nashville and had the real thing and their hot chicken sandwich was very good! The roll was tasty and the chicken was breaded and seasoned very well. I liked their sauce but the pickles were off. They were sort of bitter whereas a sweet pickle is the perfect compliment to the spice. Otherwise tasty! I had their Mac and cheese which was very tasty as well. Background I had just been to Nashville a month ago and had princes hot chicken (one of the best). This chicken was solid, good quality chicken, the heat level I had hot and it was not very hot. It did have good flavor and the chicken you could tell was cooked very well. The breading was nice and crispy as well. Over all it would be a 4.5 stars I think if I had never had princes I would have given this a hard 5 but using "Nashville" in the title you bring up your level of expectations a little high. The sides I've had so far southern greens and the Mac and cheese were just average. The chicken is definitely what will get you in the door. If you are thinking about it and never had Nashville hot chicken give it a try its definitely great food. I will defiantly be back to try a hotter chicken and some of the other sides. Then they step away from the traditional, foregoing the white bread and give you a very tasty biscuit. The owner is really passionate about the food and the city of Nashville itself. Random Yelp find one night while headed home from Victor. It's in a strip mall and has cute indoor and outdoor seating. They cook the chicken to order. And the spice level is very subjective. Their "11" was way too spicy for me, but my husband and son thought it was moderately spicy leaving a little tingle on their lips. None of us thought the Mac and cheese was worth the money. I'm glad I gave this place a second chance! I have to admit, the first time I went here I was relatively underwhelmed and didn't feel like it was anything similar to Nashville hot chicken that I've had before. I knew that it wouldn't be fair to have only gone once and I've made my decision upon that. Both times that I have gone I have gotten the same thing, but when I went the first time it was when they were brand new. I feel like they've definitely been tinkering with the recipes and got a real proper fry and hot season on their Nashville hot chicken sandwich. A marked improvement from my first experience! Their sides each time have been great, and not too much, yet not too little of a serving. The bun each time has been perfect, and the setting is still the same, which has a little bit of a funky vibe that makes you think you're in the south, with a somewhat southwestern flair to it. The mac & cheese with pimientos is solid, with a quality pasta and all the bits you'd want in regards to seasoning and add-ins.
