Driving back to Rochester we passed Mark's Pizzeria and thought a slice of pizza was the perfect fix. You place your order in the counter and sit in a pretty spacious dining area. We each ordered a slice and found the crust pretty soggy and the cheese, sauce and ingredients somewhat unremarkable. I finished mine because I was hungry and my wife had more sense and discarded hers after a few bites. Another annoyance is soda is only available in bottles. I get it if it is a take out place but not a restaurant with a pretty good size dining area. I do know of good pizza in the Rochester area-just not in Victor. read more

We were hosting a party on a Saturday recently and had a great experience with Mark's. We placed the order ahead of time so it would be ready at a specified time. Online ordering was super easy, they even sent a confirmation when the pizza was beginning to be prepared, and it was ready to go when I got there. The pizzas themselves were solid. Their Teriyaki wings are great when they are done right. Tonight they were not. Tonight's wings were cold and tasted like they were re-cooked from an order that was not picked up. OR someone one returned them because, on top of everything else, there were only 9, not 10 pieces. So, we were shorted 10%. I think they call this shrink-flation. I was Marks loyal until last night I placed an order. They gave me the wrong order -the order I received was gluten free. I was just calling to tell them so that the gluten free person didn't get sick from getting my pizza that was not gluten free. The MANAGER got on the phone to yell at me and Insist he knew what I ordered (it was not what I ordered) .... I wasn't even calling to say I needed a new pizza. I ordered pizza and wings from this location on Tuesday, July 2. When I arrived the pizza was wrong. They told me it would take 10 min to redo it. 20 minutes later they brought out 1/2 my order. When I asked where my other pizza was I found out they forgot to make it. Another 20 minutes they brought out the second pizza. We ordered a white garlic pizza and got a red pizza. Since I waited 40 minutes and the order was wrong I asked for my money back. Unfortunately the manager on site did not have the authority to do so and said the store manager would call me the next day. I had to call the manager, Carter, and he refused to refund my money and basically said too bad, it needed to be done the night of the purchase, even though the manager on duty didn't have the authority. I have been ordering pizza from Mark's for 7 years. This was not the first time this happened but it was the first time I waited for 40 minutes and still got the wrong order. This is the worst marks pizza location. Too many young kids working there that are just there to socialize with each other and not work. Ordered a medium pan pizza with the breaded chicken on it last night after waiting 35 minutes for them to make it when we picked it up. They made a medium pizza with different toppings on it. So we ended up having to wait another 30 minutes for another pizza and we where still charged full price. I would not recommend coming to this location. read more

i ordered on 12/1 it was near closing but still within hours and they took the order a medium pizza a chicken meal and a drink, the pizza was a pan size and was a soup that i believe was spit on as well i did not eat it as i did not feel safe to eat it or feed it to my family. i was ordering anywhere from once a month to sometimes twice in a day i will no longer be a customer. I also happen to be a manager at a large business down the road that spends 10 to 20,000 a year on pizza for employees not to mention the personal orders from other managers i will be advising my co workers and my bosses to buy elsewhere! even worse this is an update btw i checked the sauces for the chicken which was for me and my 1 year old nephew to share the teriyaki also looked to have saliva in it and the bbq sauce i ordered was swapped with buffalo so yea i had to throw it all out and it cost me 40 bucks im quite pissed off read more

Ordered a pizza from these folks for delivery a couple of weeks ago on a Friday night at 10:00pm. When calling them, the person on the phone refused to answer any of my questions unless he had all of my location information; that was very strange. I ordered a large pizza delivered, and asked for a few plates and napkins as we were in a hotel room. Their prices seem a little high; it's over $20 for a large one item pizza delivered. The pizza came within an hour but the guy had no plates or napkins for us. I called the pizzeria and asked them what happened and they didn't care at all, or apologize. The New York style pizza was excellent. To me, the crust makes a pizza and this one was excellent. I was staying in a local hotel. They delivered directly to my room and well ahead of the estimated time. They even included napkins and paper plates since I was in a hotel. Good pizza and it's consistently good. The wings can be hit and miss so I've stopped ordering as there too expensive to not know what you're going to get. The menu is pricey overall, but take advantage of that 1 topping large managers special for $12.99 and you're all set. I use that every time. There buffalo wing sauces are excellent! read more

There's barely any sauce on their pizza. I have had Mark's over a dozen times and this is always the case. A lot of people like Mark's and I'm assuming for the amount of cheese they put on their pizza to make up for the lack of sauce. I like cheesy pizza but I do not enjoy dry cheesy pizza. I was an employee at this Mark´s Pizzeria for a little over a year, never in my life have I ever been used and manipulated as much as the owner does to his employees here. I´ve also never wrote a review on a place but the amount of built up anger this place has caused needs to be released because I quit before I could release it on the owners teeth (responsible decision). DO NOT BUY MARKS FOOD, YOUR GETTING ROBBED. They overcharge literally everything and make the food they give you as skimpy as they possibly can. With all this profit this place decides to pay its workers a HEFTY 11 dollars an hour while making them responsible for more than what the manager does. Also, the managers are completely hypocritical, and horrible at their job. They usually stand there talking or on the phone, yet if you do the same they cut your hours. If you try to stand up for yourself you get made out to look like a absolute fool. If you ever want to work here ill advise you to not bother wasting a year of your life on a career that wants nothing more than to see you fail. Also, I used to clean almost everything because nobody else would, so i would not order because its a fact the food that shows up to your plate was made in filthy conditions. Oh, and gluten intolerant people be careful, the owner makes his gluten free pizzas over the top of where chicken wings sit for hours before being used, there is usually a trail of chicken blood and nastiness that runs along the wall next to it. And then the gluten free is cooked in the same oven at the SAME TIME next to pizzas that are packed with gluten. Great thin crust pizza. Decent regular (thick) crust. Decent wings, subs, etc. Very good delivery and online ordering and payment. Always remember to ask (or order if online) for plates, utensils etc if needed. Prices are bit above average. For this reviewer this is the best pizza in town. read more
