Amiel's has my favorite subs, so when I was driving by here, I had to stop in. I had only been to this location once before, and it was years ago. I came here around 8pm, and there were two people making subs, and one person in front of me. The one girl took my order pretty fast, and she made my sub. The other girl finished with her customer, and it was clear that she could not wait for the other employee to finish my sub so that they could have a conversation. It would not have been a huge deal, but then when I went to cash out, the cashier was taking a phone order. I waited at least 5 minutes for her to get off the phone, which was just weird because I was the only customer in the place at that time. Neither of the other girls offered to take the order or to cash me out, or to help in any way. While I was waiting, I was looking around, and this place is really not being taken care of. The ceiling is this awful shade of yellow, and parts of it look like they're ready to fall off. And behind one of the counters is basically just a junk room of stuff; wet floor signs, extra chairs, boxes, etc. Customers can clearly see it, so they really should put that stuff in a closet or some place that it can't be seen. I love their subs, and the sub was good, but this place is in desperate need of some tlc. It wouldn't surprise me at all if I hear that this location closes when their lease is up. It looks like no one has taken care of it for a long time.

Barbecue Chick-a-miel....I think...not much barbecue sauce

Food was ok, nothing special. we got the Chick-a-miel. thought it would be sliced chicken but it was chunks that tasted like canned chicken. Buns were just white bread, also nothing special. Won't be back.

Amiel's rules. The bread & chicken salad are so dang good and I always have to stop when I'm in Victor... delish! Add the sweet peppers!

Recently stopped at Amiel's to pick up a sub. Big mistake! The person that waited on us clearly didn't want to be there or make our sub. Never exchanged words other than what was necessary. Got a roast beef out of the refrigerator unwrapped that did not look good, cut it with a knife that was laying out unwashed, used a meat slicer that only God knows when it was last cleaned! There was literally almost no meat on the sub- see photo. Also minimal tomatoes and lettuce. The restaurant was filthy. Floors have not been mopped in a long time. Tables not cleaned off. I didn't take one bite of that sub! Wish I'd never stopped there. Do yourself a favor and go to DiBella's or Wegmans.

I love the beef a miel! It's always delicious and fresh. That said while we were eating in we had ordered fountain pops. We then heard a customer complain about moldy ice in the machine. After that the manager put an out of order sign on the machine. At that point I took it upon myself to return to the front with the two cups of pop and ask for bottles of pop instead. They exchanged them with no problem. I just wish they had taken the initiative since we had ordered and got out pops minutes before it was listed out of order.

First of all, I lovee the old school interior. Feels so nostalgic and comforting I can't believe it took me so long to find this place after living in Rochester for most of my life. My favorite subs for sure

I have just recently visited Amiels since I have one near my house. I always liked their subs but hadn't had one since I moved back to the area. I have, again, found that I still love their subs! I never remember to take pictures Anyway, I really like their tuna and today I'm trying Bernies Favorite who've is smoked Turkey and roast beef. They come on the freshest yummy rolls that they also sell. I will continue to come to this one. The staff is great. There currently aren't tables to sit at because of Covid. They are all ribboned off. I recommend them

Best sub I've ever had. Service was friendly, funny and passionate about just being there. Fresh ingredients & fresh baked bread.

One of my coworkers who frequently goes asked if I would like to tag along and I am so happy that I did. Upon walking in, I was immediately impressed by the well appointed space. The building is having some updates done and the main entryways are not complete yet but it is shaping up to be very nice. It wasn't too busy (I think many people are working from home on Fridays these days) so we were greeted almost immediately and our orders taken and prepared fresh. Very friendly service with personality too! I got a #24 sandwich (turkey, bacon, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, Russian dressing) on rye. It was a fantastic sandwich and piled high for a fair price. I will be back!

My friend brought me here because we weren't very hungry but we wanted to go out for lunch. There were two self-serve bars, but I skipped the savory items and went for the salad bar. That was our purpose so I didn't get a chance to look around at other options. I filled a small plastic to go container with basic salad items and grabbed a drink for just under $5. It's priced by the size of the container, not by weight. We walked through the adjacent seating area and out the door to sit at one of the three outdoor picnic tables. When we were done, the door we came out of was locked so we had to go through the front entrance back into Lorraine's to toss our garbage out. No trash cans outside. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again just because it seems like a place for employees to conveniently grab lunch downstairs, not necessarily outsiders looking for a place to dine.

It's often busy during peak hours, but I've always been able to find a spot on the patio. The patio is nice, tucked in next to the building. The strawberry bliss cooler is my go-to since it's similar to a Starbucks strawberry açaí refresher, but the ingredients are simpler and the caffeine comes from green tea! I love to get a strawberry bliss cooler and an egg sandwich for brunch. My favorite egg sandwich was the Lilly, but since that has been discontinued, I build a similar sandwich with BYO.

Incredibly friendly staff despite the line wrapping around tables. Would not suggest coming here on a weekend after 10am though, it was packed like a store on Black Friday before online shopping got popular. Wish there was more seating!

The staff here was also nice and very helpful with the menu. I ordered the three tacos for $15. I got the carne asada, which is steak, avocado salsa, pico, and cotija cheese. These tacos were spectacular! I loved every single one of them, and they are some of the best tacos I've had in Rochester. The chips and salsa that came with the tacos were also pretty good. For my drink, I ordered some pretty good horchata. My mom got the chimi carnitas burrito, and it was massive! It is a fried burrito, choice of carne asada, chili beef or carnitas, filled w/ pinto beans, Mexican cheese served w/ lettuce, avocado salsa, pico, crema I do have to say the entrance to the restaurant is extremely inaccessible on top of a hill with stairs, so I had to take off a star for that.
