This company is pretty awesome & I would give these guys 5 stars except for a slight mishap... I paid for mine & my fiances ride to the airport for our destination wedding. I also paid for my nephew's ride, who was leaving on a separate day. Nephews cab driver didn't read the itinerary, which the company emails to both drivers and passengers. The ride was prepaid but cab driver told my nephew ride was not paid for, everything was straightened out, but this was scary being that I was in The Dominican Republic and not able to help my nephew. Other than that this company has very professional & friendly drivers! They gave me an awesome rate! Their SUVs are super clean, fresh, and maintained. I just returned from Paris and had two weather related issues: an incoming snowstorm and, on return, fogged in airport. Such a great experience! We celebrated my brother's 30th birthday last week and we needed a 7 passenger vehicle to transport us to and from the festivities. We really struggled to find an affordable option for airport transportation that provided car seats. I'm so grateful someone recommended Nassau Cab. Arranging the transportation was quick and easy. Our driver to the airport was prompt and friendly. Sam drove us home from the airport and was wonderful in connecting with us earlier in the day to confirm details of timing and car seats. Picking someone up at JFK is often a nightmare but he made it a smooth and enjoyable experience. Even after leaving us at our door, he made extra effort to get out of the car and help me get luggage into the house as I was struggling with too many kids and bags! It was much appreciated. This is an excellent car service. I had to travel from Molloy College to Astoria which is quite a distance. When I spoke to dispatch, he was nice and friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure that I could get the service that I wanted. The driver, Nick was fantastic. He provided excellent service, was prompt (texted me when he arrived) and took me exactly where I wanted to go. He was very detail oriented- making sure that I was comfortable with the temperature and the music. I was able to pay by credit card and they emailed me the receipt. The service I had used the last two times has had some issues recently, so I started looking through Yelp to find a new one. Nassau Cab had the most consistently good reviews, and are located roughly midway between our home and our destination, so I booked a few weeks ahead. I was VERY pleased with the attentive, careful service from the moment I asked for a quote (I had a return email with a quote from Johnny C. within the hour) until the moment we were delivered back home from our restful vacation. I'd booked a sedan, but got a Chevy Suburban at the same quoted rate-- a very smooth ride, driven by **Manny**, who I cannot praise too highly. He is a wonderful driver, pleasant, punctual, polite-- everything to make the experience just terrific. He showed up 5-10 minutes early for both trips, texted us to let us know he was waiting, loaded the car and made us feel like royalty. I will use this company for any long trips in the future-- the rates are very reasonable and they are very dependable. I started using Nassau Cab last year for business after becoming frustrated with my former car service. The owner John is extremely responsive and courteous, and every driver that I've had has also been great. Not only do they arrive early EVERY time, but the drivers are great drivers and the cars/SUVs/minivans are all super clean and smoke free. We started using John for all personal trips as well, and the service is completely reasonable. And although we moved two months ago, every time we are back in New York, we call John (like we did today going to the airport!). Very reliable company with nice cars and service. I give it 4 stars because I was going from Woodbury to JFK. I was told over the phone it was $80, which included tip. It was supposed to be $85, but he would give me a "discount." I handed the driver $90 and was given no change. This is my new favorite car service to get from home (Nassau County Long Island) to either JFK or LGA and back. I have used them three times (2 departures and 1 return) in the past two months. Why my favorite? a) Flat rate that includes tax and tip, so no surprises or gimmicks. What they quote you on the phone or text is what you actually get charged, unlike some other services I've used in the past. b) Competitive rate - turns out they are one of the more affordable rides in town. most other services give you their rate pre-tax and tip, which makes Nassau Cab the best deal on the island that I have found so far. c) Nice cars. Even though the drivers are independent contractors, all of them seem to have premium vehicles, that are roomy and clean. d) Reliability / Timeliness / Ease of contact. The drivers have all showed up either on time or early, and all have given a courtesy text or call when they are on their way. moreover you can book a reservation by simply sending a text and your relevant information. e) Customer service - Shout out to John and Sam and the driver whose name I cannot remember (white infiniti truck). John and Sam were extremely nice and a pleasure to talk to. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. Made a reservation directly with John a month in advance. Also called to confirm our 4 am pick up a week ahead and day before. They NEVER showed up. I recently used Nassau Cab for a roundtrip airport transfer to JFK. I was quoted a price of $78 each way including gratuity. My transfer to the airport went off without a hitch. However, I did not have a driver waiting for me at the airport when I returned a week later. I called Nassau cab to find out what was going on and was informed that the driver was running about 20 minutes late due to traffic. Needless to say, after 17 long hours of travel I was exhausted and not happy about this delay. Nassau Cab immediately stepped up to rectify the situation without me ever having to complain. I called them to get a quote for two cars, one to pick up from Queens and one to pick up from Brooklyn. The prices were very reasonable, considering they had to pick up in NYC and drop off pretty far into long island. Both cars arrived on time, and they called/texted when they arrived or were nearby. Our driver, Sam, texted me to introduce himself and arrived promptly at 9:30 am. The car was immaculate and very comfortable which was a pleasure, but the greatest gift was our driver, Sam. Sam is one of those rare individuals who truly takes pride in his work and feels his mission is to deliver service from the heart. The ride to the airport was smooth and it was obvious that Sam was a careful and experienced driver. Not once did I flinch or shudder or close my eyes. I waited an hour in the cold for my reserved car to pick me up, and the driver (Eldon) never showed up. He never offered an apology and apparently told his dispatcher that he could not get a hold of me on the phone. (I have cell phone records to disprove this.) This is not an upscale company that waits for its clients in the lobby of the airport. This is all of the low class customer service of a taxi cab simply placed in a nicer car. Second time to Macarthur Airport with my family. Driver was early, professional and courteous, especially with small children. Vehicle was a super clean black Suburban with plenty of room for the family. The driver was extra safe and traveled the speed limit which put my wife at ease. The Driver actually brought my bags, kids car seats, stroller inside the terminal for us. You can't beat the price of this company. I will only use this company to take us to the airport.
