It was for Filipino Heritage Night and I loved how they represented the Filipino culture with the Filipino honorary consult getting to throw the first pitch and then having the Filipino national anthem song as well. They also had a Filipino food truck there called Sa Mesa, which is always so delicious so we got that for dinner and watched the game. The seats were nice and shaded, which I appreciated and the stadium is clean and nice. I ended up catching a ball, which was so exciting and very memorable! We ended up winning and it was so much fun and I will definitely be back for another fun night here!

Established in 2007 at the corner of Duval Street and Bryan Street, the Hooligans have celebrated every Jags game with pre and post game tailgates. You will find several hundred fans participating in circle ups every 30 minutes and if you come at the right time, you'll even see Jaxson de Ville circling up with them. There is always plenty of food, beer, cornhole and Jags team spirit. Each tailgate is DJ'd with a great variety of music that gets you pumped for the game, although you're welcome to play your own music as well. Parking fills up quick but it only costs $20 and is less than a 1/4 mile walk to the stadium.

Every year she plays fantasy football with the women in her office. They each put in money. They even have a trophy for the winner that they keep just for the year on their desk. A few years ago my daughter won two years in a row. This year she is third place during the playoffs. She's got two players on the Jaguars this game. The Baseball Grounds was not a perfect location for soccer, but the seating was comfortable, it was in the Stadium District, and with Intuition Aleworks & Manifest Distilling all within a block - going to a game was looking to be a great night out! Their new location is Hodges Stadium at UNF. An ok place to watch collegiate soccer - very nice even pitch. But being a little on the older side, I need a seatback if I'm going to be sitting in the stands for a couple hours! The seats are also not numbered. So even though I bought tickets with seat numbers, the seats were no where to be found and many in the crowd just sat where they wanted to. The dining options at the Town Center did lessen the pain somewhat. For some reason, whoever is running the team at this point, decided that the game needed cheerleaders (trust me - it may need something, but not cheerleaders). I'm not sure how much time was spent selecting the group, but they probably spent about the same time training them - quality was less than desirable. The team - I only recognized 2 names from the previous season. The team performed modestly at best. I'm sure the location will work out well for the many soccer families that live in proximity to UNF

However, I don't think there is a bad seat in the whole stadium. Parking is very convenient with a parking garage right next to the stadium. There are plenty of food options, including a couple of shrimp entrees. I had the popping shrimp, and it was great. They also have a shrimp po boy and a shrimp quesadilla. They also have the standard hot dog, popcorn, peanuts and ice cream. The field looks beautiful. The announcer is very energetic.
