In Los Angeles you can always find just about anything and everything within a 10 mile radius with ample variety and alcohol is especially no exception to that. Moving to Boston, I was worried I wouldn't find a decent place with a wide variety of wine and spirits but thank Baby Jesus I found Nasty Nonnis. Dan was both friendly and knowledgeable on procuring me a couple of nice stouts and although they didn't have my exact make of scotch (Caol Ila), Dan was able to procure it and at market value where I didn't feel like I was getting ripped. Do not sleep on Nasty Nonnie's! We were on the way to visit family and needed to bring some wine and spirits. A quick Google search led us to Nasty Nonnie's and I'm so happy it did! Doesn't look like much from the outside but that all changes once you get inside. They have an amazing selection of wine and spirits and their prices are quite reasonable. not what it looks like. in fact, until i decided to write a review i never even knew it had a name -- just thought it was a sign that said "wine beer liquor". i don't know how, but in this cramped, crammed little storefront they have assembled more than one set of curated, first rate product lines that are unequalled in the area. i personally go to them for the outstanding selection of over-proof bourbons, but whatever your poison, they have a selection of the best exemplars. try it out if you happen to be driving down lynn fells parkway and didnt notice the "right lane must turn right" sign that isn't really there. you'll be surprised. and glad you turned. just be careful getting back on the road, the traffic is killer. read more

This is a great little package store. For it's size, the selection is great and the prices are in line with most other stores. I keep coming back here for the solid craft beer selection (which often features new and obscure brands). The owner is a good guy with great recommendations. He's very approachable and will steer you well if you ask for suggestions and will even order what he doesn't have available in the store. I absolutely LOVE this liquor store. They have a fantastic selection of craft beer (also loads of wine but I don't really know anything about wine). They also have great gin (and other spirits that I know nothing about). The staff are so nice and friendly. They've given me some personal recommendations of different beers to try. The stock rotated with the seasons, so more IPAs etc for the spring summer, and more porters and stouts during the winter months. I can't say enough good stuff about Nasty Nonni's. I love their selection of beer and other mixed drinks. I've never seen mules in a can and they had that for sale. Bought it and it really does taste like a mule. They have tons of ciders, very interesting ones that you don't normally see. It's a great selection. They even have booze bombs that you can get at the counter. Cute little balls with a nice mix of alcohol. I think I'm getting the name wrong but you can't miss them when you check out. Prices were good, didn't really browse anything but the beer and cider selection but it was impressive. read more

This place is great and the employees are awesome. I was sent on a mission to get a 30 rack of Bud Light for a birthday party and I had my young son with me, so I wanted to get in and out. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I told the two guys at the register what I needed and one of them went back into the fridge to get it for me. He rang up the sale, then carried the 30 out to my car and put it right in the back for me. read more

Small store, well cared for with decent supply of what you need. Friendly staff. Not big enough a store to provide the variety that you might be looking for, but they'll order something if you want it, especially if you'll keep buying it there. Everything is a dollar or two more than I've found elsewhere, so I tend not to go unless I really need something in the area. read more

Nasty Nonnie's has moved two doors down to a bigger and better location. They did the place up nice and now have a better selection. Great packy and they carry my favorite Chianti. One constructive criticism: they could use a new sign. Its hard to see and make out from a distance and it looks like it was made in someone's garage. Nice little mom and pop store. Service is great! Got a little bit of everything including a nice little craft beer shelf that sometimes surprises me. Prices are reasonable. Only complaint is some beers seem to sit on the shelf a lot longer than the brewers intend for it to. Gotta watch those dates on beers that are meant to be drank fresh. read more

Considering the tiny space, they pack a lot in. Me, I just came for the beer so I didn't check out much else. The craft beer selection is very nice for a tiny store such as this. It isn't dominated by the entry-level craft beers like Harpoon or Sierra Nevada either. There's a rack with a few very nice looking big bottles and the beer cooler in the back is about half craft beer of all sorts, even some of the funkier harder to find brands. It's nice to have a cold, ready-to-drink selection of this size. Prices seemed reasonable for a small independent store like this. read more

Ordered Big Cranky by Stony Creek brewery for me because I drove to Holliston to get it before.... (Sure this isn't a usual thing) but he introduced me to like beers that I now love (like Captain's Daughter). Will have my business as long as I live in the area. read more
