Been going there for a couple years now and absolutely love this store and the employees. Khemarith and his employees always take the time to answer any questions and he is also very informative on their store barrel picks which I have tried several of and they have all been fantastic! The raffle system is a great way to generate interest in the barrel pick program. He also was able to order a special liqueur that is only available on the West Coast (Damiana liqueur). I had asked Khemarith if he could get it.... They called me the next week to let me know they had the bottle that I had inquired about! Excellent customer service. I look forward to continue shopping there and hope to attend one of the tastings / seminars sometime.

When I opened the box the cup that came with the Amaretto was already cracked. I also picked up bloody mary mix that was being sold at the checkout counter - the next day I found the mix had expired in November 2024, almost a month to the date of purchase. Neeing to check expiration dates and question if the staff is upselling me when I ask where I can find something is enough for me to not come back.

Swetts is a tiny Liquor store in Winthrop Center. Plenty of street parking. For a very small family run Liquor store, they have quite the impressive selection. Knowledgeable about their wine, and they will order you something if they do not have it in stock. The beer and liquor is equally impressive. If you are in town and you are going to one of the many BYOB restaurants in town, hit Swetts before you eat!

They are quick to serve and will help you out if you ask, prices are comparable to most "mom&pop" shops with some items being a bit cheaper than even some of the chains stores. Quick run to day and I saw; Chimay, Sam Smith, Sam Adams, Harpoon, Mad River, Ithaca Beer, Sierra Nevada, Blue Hills, Goose Island, Magic Hat. From these I am not just talking about their core beers either ... Flower Power, just bought some Big Foot and almost the whole range of Sam Smith in the past two weeks. I have asked for a couple different beers and they have both showed up. What else can I ask for in a small shop, they have my loyalty.

Your employees are super friendly and always have a doggy treat for my crazy little Yorkie. Even though I rarely drink it you have a wide assortment of obscure beers, ales, and hard ciders. With the addition of harder adult beverages (vodka, gin, rum, etc) I have no reason to ever stray. Never ever leave me, I think I would have a meltdown!!!
