I got my photos within two months after the wedding, and was extremely pleased with the results. Anja captured everything that I remembered of that day, and was exactly what I was looking for. Anja was wonderful and really captured everything we asked for and more. We were pretty relaxed about the formality of the photos at the time, and didn't give it much thought. We were planning a wedding and I was sick and pregnant all at the same time. But, Anja knew what was necessary, knew what we would like to look back on once we could catch our breath. She captured lovely interior and exterior photos, candids and formal ones, gorgeous reception flowers, church interior (which is difficult because it is dark and oddly shaped), even the rings and cake. These are priceless memories for me and my family. Anja was professional and courteous, she blended in with the guests and was unobtrusive. She got candid group shots of family and friends without us having to ask or provide a "list". Anja's post production work was fantastic. I can say this because my husband is a hobbyist photographer and Photoshop/Apeture user. He easily could have and would have spent hours correcting things if he was not happy. They took gorgeous pictures, were incredibly professional, and even more importantly to me and my husband, they're just all around awesome people. We interviewed a lot of photographers for our wedding, but as soon as we spoke to Sabine, we knew she was the one for us. Her professionalism and preparation, even on an introductory phone call, blew all the other photographers out of the water. She had researched all of our locations, weather variables, timing, the location of the sun - pretty much every factor you could imagine for our wedding day. And that level of dedication continued throughout our various calls, scouts, meetings, and during our engagement session. In each step of the process, we were constantly impressed by how much care Sabine put into things for us. Not only did she put in a ton of work and preparation herself, but she also made sure to take the time to explain everything to us, work with us to figure out a plan, and talk us through any nerves we had about taking pictures (which I definitely felt). Never once did we feel like we'd be unprepared or fall behind schedule on our wedding day. But even more than all of that, I think it really bears repeating how awesome she and Tucker are. They're both super friendly, easygoing, and fun to be around - which was really important to us, considering how much time you spend on your wedding day with your photographers. It definitely helps make the day smoother when you're spending that time with people who you enjoy hanging out with, and who really feel like they care about making your day as beautiful and memorable as possible. And Sabine's excitement about every part of our wedding made us even more excited for our big day. Jenessa Scherer is the worst I've ever dealt with. Details ... POOR PRODUCT: All group family photos were out of focus on the entire right side of the frame. The bride/groom were not positioned in the center of the family photos (not even close), but rather on the right side of center. Group photos were taken so close that the proportions do not enable enlargements - 4x6 photos were fine, but anything larger (even 8x10 photos) required a white band on the top and bottom. Photographer promised she would enlist a professional to make corrections but I gave up after many promises that it would happen "next week". My iphone could have done a better job at capturing the family group. TIMELINESS AND INTEGRITY: The contract stated photos would be provided within 14 weeks but they arrived 4 months after the wedding and the video arrived 8 months after the wedding (2 months past deadline). Dozens of emails were sent inquiring about missed deadlines; most were ignored but many promised that the product will be coming "next week". Although we take no issue with the video product, we paid $5000 for the "Ultimate Package" and a year and a half after the wedding, still don't have a decent family photo to hang on the wall. If I could rate them as zero stars, I would.

She was very accommodating and booked our photo session ASAP, so that we could come in within the week while our baby was still only 3 weeks old to capture his newborn essence in the photos. We really appreciated her working around my husband's work schedule. Her studio is located in a beautiful and woodsy Orinda neighborhood, and we immediately loved her enthusiasm and wonderful way with the baby. She is extremely professional and thorough in her craft, but also very efficient. I dread photo shoots, and especially ones that take forever. We were in and out of her studio in about an hour, and the time went by quickly as she made it fun and painless. From this short photo session (which is the maximum time a newborn could handle anyway), she was able to capture plenty of wonderful shots of our baby, and of us as a family. It was up in Inverness with about 20 people.
