Nothing was said to me about coming back the next day after fasting. I have a job! Why not tell me to fast before my appt? I needed an ekg that they were supposed to do 2 other times abd forgot. It was laying out on the table but then she tells me she's probably not going to do it because you're not having chest pains . The medication I'm on can kill me I am supposed to be getting it done. I have been going out to Darien until I lost the doctor out there after losing the doctor at Shoppers way that I really liked . The constant changing of doctors is a problem . Because that was her response this is a different doctor she doesn't know you that is what notes are for did you even check Darien's notes!? If a patient want something done why can't you just do it if it can be done. I will not be back there . I will be finding a doctor that I can see every time I go same doctor . Not to mention I've never seen that place that dead before I kind of wondered when I walked in what had changed this place is not what it used to be. The receptionist was great !

I have been a type II diabetic for 10 years now. I've been on insulin for the past 5 years, but last summer, my diabetes went spiraling out of control, so I was referred to an Endocrinologist. I chose Dr. Salomone because she was associated with Baptist Hospital and also because she of her office location. I am so happy she's the doctor I chose. She is absolutely wonderful! She has one of the best bedside manners I have ever seen. When she walks in the room, it's like I'm the only patient that exists. She takes the time to listen to me and actually hears what I'm telling her. She explains things in detail to me and in ways I can understand. She is also open to any and all questions I have and never rushes me. I know that she genuinely cares for my well-being and that really means a lot. I feel 100% comfortable putting my full trust in her! It took a few times seeing her before we got my diabetes back under total control because she tried me on a couple of oral medications to go along with my insulin (which I ended up being allergic too, unfortunately). Then she had to adjust my insulin to the right levels. I am happy to say that since I began seeing her, my A1C has been below 7.0. Before seeing her, it was always over 8.0. I have definitely seen results with her! The office is very clean and modern. The waiting area has comfortable seating and is very esthetically pleasing. It makes being in a doctor's office not so bad. =) The staff here are also wonderful. I have yet to encounter one person who didn't have a smile on their face. The front office staff... the assistants... all of them just wonderful. I generally hate to think about going to a doctor's appointment. But I never seem to mind coming here. If you need an Endocrinologist, I cannot recommend Dr. Leslie Salomone highly enough! I know you will not be disappointed with your choice to see her!

I was told they won't take anyone whose insurance they don't take and won't allow me to pay out of pocket, because I actually have insurance. It's sad to see yet another doctor perpetuating the problems with our healthcare system, and putting business over the welfare of their (would be) patients.

Keep in mind he's 60. Another time I suffered a fall and he asked me & my wife what type of pain medication I'd like and how much? I was taken aback, especially in this age of problems w that type of thing. After hearing his name from two separate people in two different years, I decided to change. Boy am I glad I did! Their staff is excellent and always greet me with a smile. I was so happy, that I had my husband see him too when he was diagnosed. I'd had several thyroid biopsies and each time it felt like a horrific experience that ended in me crying. Dr Cleland was so kind and patient with me when he performed the biopsy. He got what he needed on the first try and I left smiling. His PA Matt is equally kind and exceptional! He is so encouraging and helps keep us motivated to work to live healthier lives. We feel cared for and would refer Dr Cleland to absolutely anyone, especially those who've had a less than favorable experience elsewhere.
