Friendly, listens to what I have questions about and makes sure that I understand and cares about my medical issues.

The counseling side of things is where I drew the line and reconsidered if I would go back. Their intake person (Linda, at the time of my appointment) is the one that initially sees you and decides which counselor would be the best fit for you. I was with her for no more than 20 minutes when she told me that I was a bitch, continued to reiterate the fact that I was a bitch, then told me that I could change my personality to make people listen to me and do what I want (manipulation tactics, I guess). I was there because I had lost a lot of family members to suicide in the past few months and was trying to cope with that and the collapse of some other personal relationships. I'm still trying to figure out what happened at that appointment. I waited a few months and opted to not go back for any appointments, and am looking for a new provider for my medications.

I will start off saying this review is for the company and not the psychiatrists…read more I have been attempting to see a psychiatrist for over 6 months now. I've heard great reviews about the psychiatrists at CCS psychiatry so I really wanted to try there (also, there are not many options around here for med management). I have had 4 separate referrals submitted over the course of these 6 months with ZERO contact from CCS. I have called them each time and they have stated they have either not received it yet or it has not been processed and when it is I will receive a confirmation letter in the mail with my initial visit scheduled. This is an absolutely abysmal business and new management is needed ASAP. It is unacceptable for a business to literally ignore and intentionally lose their potential patient's documents ESPECIALLY in the psychiatric field.

Do better. -Bonnie Dear Renee Fagone, FNP Central Maine Medical Center - CMMC (https://providers.cmhc.org/provider/renee-s-fagone/2572963) You said I was just "fat" and needed to kick my "bad habits". But I was sick. I was suffering with an eating disorder, mental health issues, and I was in constant pain. You told me it was my own fault. Every time I came to you, you were so quick to normalize my pain and suggest a diet and/or a weight loss pill instead of spending the time to get to the root of what was going on. It was so incredibly hurtful and demoralizing and it only made me feel worse. Needless to say, I've been mad at you for a long time. But I have had to forgive you and I truly hope that you've evolved as a provider since treating me. If anyone knows this provider (or another in the practice) and has a way of getting this to her, please do. I haven't been successful in getting in touch with her. These providers need to know the damage they cause. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1AabRNbdqC/?mibextid=wwXIfr
