I always ask for a new design and Natalie always makes them look better than expected. If you are looking for a long and intricate design, please expect to stay around 2 hours and let them know when you book your appointment so they can schedule you accordingly! I also get gel pedicures with my full sets. Not only do these nails look amazing but they last a long time! My sets usually last from 4-5 weeks. I don't know why I haven't left a review sooner but I love Natalie and I've been coming to her regularly since they opened spring/summer 2022. Natalie by far is the gentlest nail tech I've ever experienced. Sometimes nail techs are so rough with nail files that they leave cuts on you but she's super gentle and it never feels aggressive. Also, she really takes her time to perfect whatever set she's doing so set aside time for that. You can tell she really cares about her craft and isn't trying to rush nail sets for profit. She's always trying her best for what designs I ask for and she's honest about what's better. Plus, she's super nice and accomodating. I've recommended this place to everyone I know, and my sister and cousin now regularly go here. Prior to meeting Natalie, I had never consistently gone to a nail salon, but now I live in SoCal and I still only get my nails done here. I do advise to make appts before coming in because they usually only have 3 staff members and they're almost always all busy. I would highly recommend Yuen for eyebrow waxing. I only got a mani/pedi from here a couple of times and the first time was fantastic, gel polish stayed up to par for like a month, the last time not so much. Unprofessional, Abusive Behavior - Avoid This Salon!!! I had an absolutely unacceptable experience at Natalie's Salon and Spa today. I came in for a nail service, only to be met with extreme rudeness and verbal abuse from a technician named Lilly. Instead of providing professional service, she openly refused to do my nails--simply because I had previously left an honest review about a past negative experience. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally or attempting to improve my experience, Lilly chose to be combative, unprofessional, and outright hostile. No paying customer should ever be treated with such disrespect, especially in a service-based business. If a salon cannot handle constructive criticism and instead retaliates against customers, that is a major red flag. The level of unprofessionalism I witnessed today was beyond anything I have ever experienced in a nail salon. I will never return, and I strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere. Unfortunately after good acrylic application and a very nice design job by the nail technician, the design I got and paid -$80- for didn't even last 2 days. I asked the technician why my nails were $80 for short almond simple design with chrome and he said the chrome is what made it so expensive. Chrome doesn't take any skill or time to do and the black paint is just squiggly bubbles. The whole chrome part, basically the entire part with color on it began to peel off after 24 hours and the rest followed the day after. SMH Somehow this came out to 20 dollars shy of 100. I have been getting acrylic nails pretty regularly for years now and have not had an experience this poor in a very long time. I have a baby so it is difficult for me to make time for myself lately. I called Natalie's Salon around 11:35 am to see if they had time for a full set before heading there. I had childcare for 1-2 hrs so I wanted to take advantage of that time. They told me that they did have time so I drove there getting there before 12pm. Once I got there, the question was do you want long nails or short (I already got a bad feeling with that question). I said I wanted short nails so they told me where to sit. Once I showed the nail tech that I wanted brown ombré chrome nails she immediately hesitated and said another nail tech would do the design. I noticed right away that she was not experienced but she was nice and I decided to give her a chance. An hour and a half later she was done with the application and by this time my patience was very thin. She'd cut me on almost every finger and had taken so long for the application I wanted to give up. I was fearing that I would not have enough time for a pedicure or even color change on my toes. Again, I tried my best to be patient and had been there so long already I just wanted my nails to be done. When I thought another nail tech would complete my design, they kept taking other clients and forced the tech in training to do my design. She tried many times and could not do the ombré effect on my nails. She kept pouring alcohol on my nails to clean off after every attempt and all the cuts would just sting and burn. Another nail tech tried and it did not work out either. They kept trying to use a sponge but it was not blending well. I even asked if they had the airbrush which I've gotten in other salons but they ignored my request. In this day, what nail salon cannot do the ombré effect?! I should've walked out at this point with unfinished nails but I had invested so much time that I rarely get since having my baby, I really wanted nice nails. I decided to give up on the ombré since no one in the salon was able to help this tech in training and I told her to just do one whole solid color. Once she was done, I asked if she could add chrome on top and again she hesitated and called another tech to help with chrome. The nail tech that came to finish the chrome tried fixing some of the errors but I was not satisfied and they didn't care if I was satisfied or not. TWO AND A HALF HOURS and $70 LATER I stormed out of there unhappy and sad that I was so stressed on the very little time I have to myself. Short, square basic acrylic nails should not take 2.5 hours long. I wish they would've told me they were busy so I wouldn't have had such a bad experience. Very unhappy After walking in and being seated i noticed how disorganized this place was. I came in for a simple gel manicure. One lady started and another finished it. As one started to aggressively scrape off my previous gel she was pushing all the debris upwards into my cuticle and causing two of them to bleed. She moved on to filing them but filed my skin around my nails instead. Now it feels like bad paper cuts on each of my finger. I hope i don't develop any infection. Also, the staff are very high strong. They want your business no matter what . They even pressured a older gentleman to get a haircut after he was unhappy that his barber was not in. The lady who cut his hair rudely directed him to sit at her station while pointing with her lips or chin. Very unprofessional. Lastly, only 1-2 of them know English. I will not return. **In regards to the owners response, i did get my gel manicure here or else i wouldn't have received a stamp card from you guys.
