In MD, if the crab cakes aren't jumbo lump, they don't meet expectations. The root veggie side had only mild flavor, was slightly dry, and overall mediocre. The mashed potatoes side was decent. Cocktail was lackluster, a margarita served in a collins glass with no rim. Sound carried far too well and it was very loud. Our service was wonderful. This could be a great restaurant if staffed appropriately. We Arrived at 6 to an empty restaurant. Orders placed. Appetizers came quickly. We waited over 1 hour for our meal to arrive. 1 in our group did not receive their food until 1.5 hrs in., and 1 other still didn't receive it until 1:45 even though they were serving the table behind us with at least one of the dishes 1 of our guests were missing. The food is good. The service although very nice was completely understaffed for the amount of people there and need someone in charge in the kitchen to make sure an entire table is served before moving on to another table with similar orders. Lastly, especially the one who did not receive hers until people were all done eating at the table 1:45 in and simply boxed the meal...this meal should have been free. Hey friends!! I forgot to finish this review from July!!! Mainly because it my bf always says to give the resturant a chance to make it right before you post a review, but Im breaking that rule because the manager or owner made it known that she didn't give 2 shits on the evening! My bf & I were super excited to try this place because we love the local in Fallston & we like the one in White.Marsh . Ive heard great reviews from friends!! So, we went tonite! We got there around 7:30 ish, tiki bar had a few seats open which we prefer . There were 4 bartenders in sight , however it took what seemed like forever to even get a drink! Bartender finally came over, we ordered our drinks, mine was a lemondrop martini & my bf chardonnay. Mine came in a plastic glass ( no worries it's a tiki bar so that got a pass) , but no sugar rim & glass was half full. Legit maybe 4 sips. We ordered apps & dinner My bf got the snapper, said it was delish, I got the chicken dinner & the chicken was so dry & fried to death, it wasn't even edible I just ate the noodles & didn't even complain. We got our check & I always look over it before my luv pays the tab & I see $15 × 6 ...yep. equaling $90 for 3...3 martinis!!! So, I said to the bartender, " Im sorry but you charged us $30 per martini? " He said, " Well, yeah I had to charge you for the lemon cello & the vodka ". What?!!! I said, you gotta fix that & bring us a new tab. Manager came over, asked if everything was ok. I told her the issue & they took the extra $15 off each martini ( the price it should've been) & acted like they did us a favor! Once the tiki bar closes, I dont see this place lasting much longer. I was less than enthusiastic about coming to this restaurant because of some of the mediocre reviews. However, I must shout out that the food was terrific. My wife had a cream of crab soup that was full of delicious crab. I had Oysters not Rockefeller and they were unique and exciting. I finished with Lobster ravioli, and again it was the best I've ever had with quite a bit of lobster. Maybe I just got lucky today and the restaurant gods looked kindly down upon me. The service was even terrific (thank you Justin) with all the food arriving hot. And we got to hear live music. read more

My husband and I had made reservations at 4 PM knowing that no one would be there so that we could get to a movie at five. We were right, no one was in the restaurant so when they decided to set us down in an empty dining room, they put us in the absolute worst table that you could possibly put somebody, right in front of the bathroom & kitchen. Mind you, there's not one person in the entire dining room. So my husband kindly asked, can we please move a table back so that we're not in the main track traffic area in front of the bathroom in the kitchen. The hostess replied, sorry we can't do that, we are totally booked and as we looked around the entire restaurant, we said there's no one in here. She said sorry we can't We're totally booked tonight. The customer service here is sorely lacking and nonsensical, but when you have a bunch of children running the place, this is what you get. We had our appetizer, drinks & dinner. By the time we had left to go to our movie, There was literally one other couple sitting in the entire restaurant and they had a two person seat away from the horrbile table we were placed at. We were anxious to try Natalie's as it is new and have heard mixed reviews so off we went. We were joined by an "out of town" friend who was excited to try the newest spot for seafood and I have to say all 4 of us were sorely disappointed in our entire experience. The space itself is large and "decorated"nicely enough. Nothing special but the blue is appealing The outdoor area looks fun but it was middle of the week so not much happening. We were seated at a high top in the bar area where our server, also the bartender, greeted us with a history of Natalie's Seafood Kitchen which amounted to nothing more than a dissertation about the chef and how he knew what he was doing based on the awards and accolades he'd received. We were expecting GREAT things.....great things never came. One of us had a watermelon crush that was so nauseatingly sweet that we had to add club soda, a lot of it, to try to make it drinkable....it was not. And not once did Beth, our server/bartender ask if it was ok, if we liked it or didn't, or if perhaps we would like something else. We had some salads and they weren't bad but certainly nothing to write home about or what I would have thought such a decorated chef would present. The mozzarella stick was the BEST thing I've tasted! It was fantastic....which is odd for a seafood kitchen but welcomed and enjoyed because nothing else was worth eating. The lobster ravioli tasted like it came out of a bag from the freezer, the poke bowl was not a poke bowl, it was simply tuna served with chips in a bowl and the mussels were awful. Not sure if it was the prep or if they were bad but not edible. We even called this to the attention of Beth, our server who scooped up the pot, stuck her nose in it to smell and walked through the dining room to the kitchen smelling them! Appalling! Service left a lot to be desired. We think our server thought she was being funny or cool or something but it was not received well at all. She was very condescending and kind of bitchy When we asked questions her responses made us feel stupid for asking. All in all we enjoyed the evening with each other and will do it again, however, it will NEVER again be at Natalie's Seafood Kitchen Oh yeah, those mussels that were inedible....were never addressed again by our server or anyone else and they were not removed from the bill. The atmosphere and service was great! I loved their cocktail selection and the drinks were fantastic. My boyfriend and I split the calamari for an appetizer, he got the seafood pasta and I got the stuffed shrimp. We agreed the food was okay, but for the price, we don't think we will be returning, unless it's for the drinks. Our service was fast and our waitress was great, though. read more

Celebrated Father's Day five days early. We sat outdoors on the patio next to the tiki bar which was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed our food: crab dip appetizer, jumbo fried shrimp, crab cake (very meaty), and a cheesesteak sandwich. Large portions and well prepared. Service was excellent and timely. Enjoyed a great lunch with my wife and son. Service was fantastic. Food was just as good. On a little side note. I had the Creole pot. I definitely enjoyed, however the corn definitely wasn't silver queen. I understand this time of year it's not easy. And maybe a little side container of some dry Creole seasoning to hop it up just a little after dipping in the butter. Not complaining. Just a suggestion. Will definitely be back. My wife and I visited Natalie's last week for the Raven game and had a good experience. I wanted to make sure that I started this review on a positive note. I have a good friend that works there and last Sunday was a very good day at Natalie's. Fast forward to Friday night when we made a reservation to get a table to see our friends band play. Natalie's was very busy and when we went to check in we were told to see the outside hostess. a 16 year old, clearly over worked and frustrated young lady doing her best but unable to handle that kind of pressure. after trying to get her attention for about 10 minutes, we finally were able to get her to acknowledge us. my wife and I are close to 70 years old and are not impatient people but the hostess gave her attention to a group that came in after us. she sat them before us. we expressed our displeasure and she got us a table. not what we wanted but a table. as my wife followed to the table, the young lady and my wife had a conversation and the young lady rolled her eyes and ignored my wifes displeasure as if she could care less. when my wife let her know she would notify management, the young lady walked away. not a moment later came a very RUDE, BLOND HAIRED LADY STATING SHE WAS THE MANAGER AND TOLD US WE HAD TO LEAVE BECAUSE HER HOSTESS WAS CRYING AND THAT WE WERE NEVER ALLOWED TO RETURN. WE WILL CERTAINLY OBLIGE HER BUT THE OWNERSHIP NEEDS TO KNOW THAT WHEN YOU ARE BUSY, HAVE PEOPLE IN PLACE THA5 CAN HANDLE PRESSURE AND FOCUS ON TAKING CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL LOCAL PATRONS BUT IF THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER TREATMENT IS ACCEPTED AT NATALIES, WHAT MAY HAPPEN AT THEIR OTHER VENTURES?
