    Whales!

Great local crab shack off of Brooke Road. Very unassuming. Large bar area that was completely packed. Similar or even perhaps slightly larger indoor restaurant dining space on the other side of the venue that was relatively empty. First time, eating crabs here, and we were lucky enough to get Whales. Very well seasoned and came out piping hot. They were all 7.5 inches at least and somewhere 8 inches or large larger. Obviously you pay a premium for that size, but it was amazing as a first experience. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Checked in on us regularly.

A great local spot in the northern Baltimore County area! Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and checked on us several times. The restaurant was decently full, though the food came out rather quick. The Cream of Crab soup was good, and had lots of crab meat in it. I will say it was a bit bland, but it was still tasty overall. We had one broiled and one fried crab cake - broiled was definitely the better option! The Baja Fish Tacos were a bit on the saltier side, and pretty standard. The Seafood Mac & Cheese was my favorite dish here, though I would suggest sharing it, as it is very filling. The restaurant had an old time feel to it, but it fit the vibe well. Parking can be tough at this location, so if you can avoid peak time, that would be ideal!

Disappointing night here. The crab cakes (for the first time I've had them) had a lot more filler then they use to. The cream of crab soup had very little crab. Several people in our party had luke warm fries. The waitress was excellent, and the Restuarant itself was ok.

Fish tacos using fish sticks .Blue Point oysters what a joke ,Two oysters the size of a quarter .Hot Caesar salad ! Potato chips from the bottom of the bag Thoroughly the worst dinner I've ever had in my life !I am not the type to give feedback but I will get it on as many sites I can to get the word out ! This is the next day and I have a headache and I am nauseous .I went to Ocean Pride website and I could not post pictures .I sure hope I can now .I got the idea from other patrons taking pictures of their food also .what is going wrong with this restaurant I don't know but will never go back !

Craving a fish sandwich for lunch do headed to OP on a Saturday. Sat at bar and ordered the fish and chips sandwich and a cold draft beer. Fried cod was thick cut and fries were crispy as ordered. They have the best fries in the area IMHO. Servers were great as always. Nothing fancy at OP but I think food is normally solid.

Ocean Pride is a staple in the Timonium area but can be hit or miss. I'm always a little wary when seeking a non crab option at a restaurant that caters to crab but I was extremely surprised by my salmon salad. The glaze on the salmon was phenomenal and the salmon itself was flaky and fresh. Never expected a salad here to be so good but would definitely reorder. All other food I've tried is ok and leaves a lot to be desired. Add in a noisy atmosphere, the fact that it's almost always hot in the restaurant , and it is not a place you necessarily want to sit and linger at for a relaxing dinner.

I sat at the bar and received prompt, friendly service from the bartenders, who were welcoming and attentive. The rockfish could have used more seasoning, but the crab imperial topping was flavorful and complemented the dish well. Overall 7 out of 1.

They've been coming here on and off for 35 years and the food is at least really good.

Crabs are always big and full of meat. Tried the crab dip and sadly it was just "ok". I didn't have trouble eating it all tho lol.

Great bar. Chose to eat out crabs there; the dining room past 2 times looks like it needs some major TLC. BUT, delicious!

Crabs were good; however, Ocean Pride added 20% tip to the price of the whole bill. Ridiculous. I won't be eating crabs there again.

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

Our server (I wish I could remember her name) was so attentive and nice. She made sure we were well taken care of and felt welcomed for our first time dining at Costas Inn. I got their Shrimp Salad Sandwich and a side of their Creamed Spinach. That might have been the best Shrimp Salad Sandwich I've ever had...legit! I loved the amount of Shrimp they put on the sandwich, the way the Shrimp were fresh, and the seafood seasoning they put on it was a very nice touch. I give the sandwich a 9.5 out of 10. The Creamed Spinach came soaked in Amaretto with Provolone Cheese melted on top (sorry I didn't get a picture), and I love Amaretto as a drink. So, I had to try this as a side. It was overall good. Not as creamy as I thought it would be, a bit watered down, but the Amaretto did indeed give it something different and unique to it that I liked. I give their Spinach a 7.5 out of 10. The manager (I'm assuming that who he was) was very friendly and came to check out everyone's tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their food and experience. I really appreciated that. 10/10 for the customer service from our server and the manager. I definitely will be back, hopefully soon, to try their other menu items.

This is the 2nd time I've been here and they do not disappoint if you want good seafood. I had the salmon 5.0....smh the best meal I've had in awhile. The salmon was grilled with bbq sauce & was crispy & delicious. It had a seaweed salad shredded on top which I thought I would not eat but it was lite & not super salty. The salmon sat on a bed of udon noodles with stir fried veggies & a broth. The flavor of the whole thing was amazing & it all blended together perfectly. The other meals ordered were rockfish which was a little bland on a bed of carrots, asparagus & fingerling potatoes and the carrots were a little hard but it was a nice piece of white fish! The sea bass was crusted with macadamia nuts & it had a better flavor. The server was pleasant, helpful and attentive! The passionfruit crush was very good as well! We ordered the smith island cake for dessert which I didn't really like. It's several layers of thin white cake with chocolate icing but the icing was super thick & not creamy at all but obviously I'm in the minority because the server said it's one of the most popular desserts so......you can decide for yourself!!
