Had a craving for a seafood boil, I'm in the neighborhood so I decided to try this place again. On this visit there was no long wait time, the food was on point and cook perfectly.

Best boil I've ever had! Can't do spicy, so I must order the garlic butter seasoning. This was the first time ever that flavor permeated every morsel of food in the boil bag. Hubby raved about the potato and shrimp being flavorful enough for his palate while mild enough for my issues. Already looking forward to another visit! Gumbo was decent and flavored well, just a little too watery a broth for hubby's taste. Hush puppies tasted like homemade, moist and rich!

The rockin bomb sauce is def the way to go. I could drink that sauce by itself. Everything was cooked well, delicious and worth it!!

Princess was our server and is fantastic. Friendly and professional. I would have loved it if I had more old bay. We got the All You Can Eat special just so we could taste the different foods. We never got to refills. The catfish and oysters were outstanding. So delicious and prepared to perfection. Yes We would certainly return. There is lots of great seating also.

So everything is served on paper plates, paper cups and boil bags, but very very good food. I'm picky about the way crab is made. This snow crab cracked well was packed with flavor and easy to eat. The all you can eat comes with 2 appetizers I got fried shrimp and calamari, the boil comes with your choice of 4 meats, I got double snow crab, shrimp and black mussels. Choice of seasoning and level of spicy heat. We didn't get seconds but you can have all you want for a limit of 90 minutes. We ate the first round and didn't have room for the included dessert. They've got a nice bar, comfortable tables and seating, a little stage. We'll worth the pricey tag.

The food is definitely good the catfish could be fried a little harder The wings are OK. The gumbo soup is good. The rock and bomb sauce is everything. The customer service is excellent and the ambience is cool, relaxing and fun I would definitely come back. Today was the first day so I will give them some time but for my first experience I enjoyed myself thank you

The food was really good. We all enjoyed.

Seafood was awful- one cluster of crab legs and six shrimp for $35. Crab meat was mushy and over seasoned. Save your money!!!!

Everyone agreed their chicken is outstanding - people were actually talking about it. Native Baltimoreans were saying it was the best chicken they had had in B-more. We also got the mac and cheese, cornbread, and the giant fruit platter-all of which were great. The fruit platter was fresh, and the fruit was ripe. The gentleman who coordinated my order (Vernon?) was patient and made the order easy. He helped me figure out how much to order and how to get and use the Sternos. On the day of the party, the food was delivered right on time and tightly wrapped to prevent spills and keep the hot food hot. The young man who delivered the food was equally as helpful and friendly as Vernon. Highly recommend this Baltimore gem.

I wanted soul food and did a google search for my area and this popped up. I have heard some good things about this location, I looked at reviews prices etc and decided to give it a shot. No, I will not return this was it. Fried catfish not much flavor, greens tasty but there were more stems than anything. Potatoes salad had good flavor but there was something about how the potatoes tasted almost like just before they breakdown due to mayo. Before I purchased I asked about the consistency of the mac & cheese. The young lady let me taste it, I didn't like it so I opted for the potatoe salad. Finally listed inside on their menu board the catfish dinner was listed as $18.99/ $15.49 entree. I asked the young lady what was the difference and her explanation was $15.49 was meat only ( entree) and $18.99 was meat and 2 sides. All my life of dining out an entree includes 1 or 2 sides. I didnt say anything. The price isn't that much of a difference. I just want my people to do better since Black Business is always saying SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESS. I ate some but threw most away and that is not something that I normally do.

No "Salt, Pepper, and Ketchup" needed in this kitchen…read more.. I got the double crab cake platter...it was all jumbo lump, perfectly formed, seasoned and golden crusted with the creamy center. The collard greens were fresh and you could tell they were slow simmered because the savory and smoky flavor was cooked into the greens. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and cheesy with hints of sharp cheddar. I'd never had snakehead fish, but it won't be my last time! The fish was fried golden, crispy, seasoned and meaty...I can imagine it makes an awesome fish sandwich! The pieces were big enough for my 2 teenaged daughters and myself to eat and have some leftover. The jumbo fried shrimp were also crispy but not over cooked!! They were seasoned and came with a tasty lil sauce. The wings were not too big nor were they too small. They were party wings, but they were crispy and did well the next day being reheated. They offer flavored wings (I think a bourbon bbq and Hennessy), but I wanted a plain fried wing and they were just as delicious as everything else. As odd as it may sound, the potato salad took the show for me! A wise woman once told me that if the potato salad is good, then it's highly likely that all of the food is good...the potato salad had the flavor, creaminess, texture, perfectly sized potato cubes blended with the other ingredients. Potato salad is one of my favorite dishes that I am just learning to make decently. Most restaurants buy their potato salad and you can tell! Not here, I think they have someone's grandmother back there with some cast iron pots and that old school tupperware that was extra thick!! In addition to going about 25 mins out my way while my food sat there, my ride home was about another 20-25 mins...my food was still fresh and did well being reheated when I went back for 2nds and the next day. I even enjoyed the reheated fried chicken which I usually do not do and prefer to just eat it cold. The food was so good, it was on our minds when we woke up the next day! My boyfriend said he hadn't had food that good in a while. That was a true compliment because he seems to only really enjoy his Mom, Sister, Step Mother and my cooking. He asked about any leftovers for lunch. Needless to say, I ordered again on Friday (I was so excited, I didn't get any pics)!! I prayed that the food would be just as good...and it was!! This time, I got everything I ordered the 1st time, but I swapped the fish and chicken for the smoked bbq ribs. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade and they threw in a pineapple upside down cake. The ribs were meaty, tender, sauced and everything a rib should be! I was worried that the strawberry lemonade would be too sweet (dopefiend sweet), but it was not...it was balanced and I could taste mint in it. The lemonade was really good after I froze it a little to get it slushy (it would go well with the spirit of your choice ) i am not a big cake or pie person, but the pineapple upside down cake was delicious. My daughter who is a cake fanatic said it was a good cake and enjoyed it. The owner and his son have a great thing going on here. Very rarely do I get to have an experience where the food is organically good, I don't have to add seasoning and they are consistent! The prices aren't bad at all and the food is fresh and of quality. In addition to it all, the customer service, helpfulness and appreciation made me want to scream from the rooftops how awesome they are. I posted a video of my food and several people I know made a visit, they all had nothing but good things to share and can't wait to go back. That makes me happy because my credibility means a lot to me if/when I make recommendations. It mean't so much to me that I came out of Yelp reviewer retirement just to give this small family owned business their props. My photos are not the greatest because I honestly didn't anticipate being so blown away and compelled to promote them. Hopefully everyone has an awesome experience and is able to get food that feeds their soul!

That was definitely not the case here. The food was absolutely amazing, the portions were generous, and everything was seasoned perfectly. There are so many options on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes you get. I drove 30 minutes there, ordered online, and drove 30 minutes back home -- and the chicken was still crispy. That alone impressed me. That's nice but the drink and desert selection was basically non existent so if you're looking for a sweet treat they might have it but your drinks you're better off stopping at the grocery before heading home. Now the food: if you don't want to wait long. ORDER AHEAD. When I placed my order online it was about a hour wait time. Luckily I wasn't starving because that's a bit extreme to wait for carry out food. When we received the food everything smelt GREAT. I personally ordered the maple jerk wings, Mac and string beans. The wings were good, they were a little more sweet than jerky but still good. I was really disappointed with the Mac and String Beans. Normally I'm all for flavor, but the seasoning on the string beans were overwhelming and the Mac & cheese was very very salty. I thought it was just mine but this seemed to be the general consensus. Everyone else enjoyed their food and the talk of the night were the salmon tenders. Our least favorite item was the shrimp. To me paying $13.99 then an additional 2.99 for the sauce for it to not even be fully coated and overly battered is insane. I wouldn't have cared if the price matched the quality.

SIDE NOTE: Why do these delivery people continue to put your food on the ground after you specify them to knock or call. Even when you leave a tip? But anyway... I can tell that they ran out of prepared lamb chops because the ones I received were not seasoned at all. It seemed they tried to slap some sauce on it and grill it but all I tasted was grill char and bland borderline tough meat. The Mac and cheese saved my tastebuds. On the plus side my family enjoyed the ribs and crab balls. On the negative side, the fish in my fish and chips was painfully thin and small. Normally you get a nice chunky piece of fish when you get fish and chips. Not only that, l've never had fish and chips where the skin was on the fish. I left most of the skin behind, but ate some of it because the portion was so small. I had to eat something. Please have the chef look up what fish and chips is supposed to look like. Despite being the only server, our wait person was outstanding - it wasn't their fault that they had to handle the entire dining room. . Also appreciated the carafe of water on the table - but why no ice -had to drink lukewarm water.
