I recently moved down to Irvine and was in desperate need of another haircut (some say my hair grows like play-doh ). Even though it took me over an hour to get there, it was clearly well worth it. Natasha really knows her way around different hair types. The appointment process: SUPER EASY! It's like your booking an appointment with your BFF. She let me know what times worked for her, based around my schedule. Pro Tip: if you follow her on IG, she'll post last minute availabilities on her stories. Arriving to the salon: Thank the gods for GPS! Highly recommend parking at the meters, but there's also a parking garage attached to the building. Once I arrived, I texted her and she made it a point to meet me at the entrance - added sprinkle of VIP treatment. Entering The Velvet Hideaway: OH MY GOD! This place is every glam-chic persons dream come true!! It's so cute (next time I go and get my hair done, I'll make update with interior pics)! The design was so well thought out - it's perfect (and speaks to her level of attention to detail)! The hair cut and styling experience: As I arrived, we chatted about the events coming up, and what I wanted to do with my hair (FYI - I'm getting married in a few months, and yes! She IS my hair stylist ) we based my hair styling and cut on the style I am going for the big day. She took me to the wash station, gave me a hair mask treatment (another sprinkle of VIP treatment), and after a gentle massage (another dash of that VIP treatment) she washed it out and off to the salon chair we went. We attempted to cut my hair while sitting, but if you only saw the before, there was no way that was going to happen. Nonetheless, the cut was gentle, quick, and she did everything I had asked for plus some! Post cut and styling, Natasha really had me feelin' myself. Like so many LA transplants, I had been staying true to my lifelong hairstylist in my hometown hours and hours away. Finally, I made jump to finding an LA stylist, because I wanted color for my upcoming wedding. Luckily, a friend recommended Natasha for cuts and color. I was nervous to go to someone new, but I'm SO happy I found Natasha. Not only is she super cool, down to earth, and kind, her work is incredibly. I've never loved my hair so much. She did a balayage on me last fall it held up amazingly until I went back in March. I get SO many compliments on my hair color. My fiancé not only notices the impeccable color but also the detailed work Natasha puts in. I'm super low maintenance but having the balayage job she does makes me want to show it off! The color job also makes my hair just feel good and look stylish, even when it's up in a bun. I cannot recommend Natasha enough! Also, her studio is SO cute, cool, and clean. I am SO happy I found Natasha. I don't style my hair very much so I was looking for someone to help me achieve a bright, beachy blonde look without frying my hair or having it grow out poorly. She is MAGICAL. I really only gave her a few pics and said I wanted it blonde, but natural looking. The girl just gets it. Since then I've been to her 2-3 times and my hair looks so much healthier than it has over the years. I love the products that she uses and she is so lovely to spend time with. Natasha was first recommended to me six years ago through a mutual friend because I had never had anyone besides my uncle do my hair. I was in desperate need, as that was no longer an option.
