I would not recommend this business for several reasons. The food was mediocre. The service was worse. There were very few tables filled which should've been my first clue. As far as I know we had no waitressed assigned to our table. Someone finally came in and said oh I thought so and so was waiting on you. The waitress who brought our food was absolutely hateful. She kind of threw it at us and turned on her heel and left. I only got half my order and no one ever came to check and see if we were OK or needed anything. Even though the service was terrible and the food was not much better we decided to leave a tip anyway. When my husband asked where to put the tip the cashier grabbed it out of his hand and threw it in a jar and never said thank you, no smile nothing. Again same one hateful. We will never come back here will not recommend it. read more

Cute place with friendly staff. Coffee was good, and the yeast bread with their homemade blackberry butter was to die for! Both Baker and Biker opted for the Natchez Breakfast Platter. Bacon was crisp, and eggs were fine. Grits were dry - disappointing after what we found in Atlanta at Buttermilk Kitchen! Having just left NOLO, decided might as well order beignets as well - wish we hadn't. They were very dense, over cooked, greasy, and almost seemed made of wholewheat flour - or maybe the color was just from all the cinnamon. The Verdict: Not a bad stop and fed us well. Hubby and I stopped here for a couple of coffees to go as we were visiting Natchez. Parking was a little limited, so we parked down the street and walked to this cozy cafe in a historic building. We only ordered coffees, so I can't offer any opinion about the food. My brewed coffee was pretty standard and I served myself from pre-brewed pecan praline flavor from a carafe. I fixed it up with milk and sugar that was on the counter. The glass milk/cream bottle felt about room temperature. The coffee was pretty good, but not all that hot in temperature. I am thinking it had been held in the thermal carafe for a while. My husband ordered a latte, which was made to order. He said it tasted "kind of watered down, but okay." Service was fine, neither wonderful nor lacking. We feel like we had an overall average experience here. read more

Made our order they brought out my wife's food , that should have been a red flag you don't deliver part of an order to the table. FOLOW UP: separate trip to town and was depressed about the attitude of the workers. They had not a care in the world if you needed anything nor did they reply to you when asked direct questions. They have one speed called WHATEVER I WANT and they did not change gears no matter your need. The manager is weak and even her prompting could not get their lazy asses motivated. Our visit to Natchez Coffee Company came as an unexpected treat since it was included with our stay at Weymouth Bed & Breakfast in Natchez. My wife and I had read about them before we went and thought we'd like to try the coffee anyway. Not only did we get some good coffee (in huge mugs), we had a great breakfast. I had eggs, sausage, pancakes - basically a good Southern breakfast - and my wife had the Breakfast Platter. The bacon had great smoky flavor and the pancakes were light and fluffy. We both had the cheese grits and they were hot and good. My eggs and sausage were good and well cooked. You should check them out the next time you are in Natchez - but bring a good appetite because you won't leave hungry! read more

Got there right when they opened, server seemed very nice and attentive, we were the only people there, once our food came there were a few more tables and we never saw our server again, food was good but a little expensive. We never got a check so we went to the counter to pay, the girl there was busy and seemed confused, the manager was trying to get her to do things alone but would get frustrated and step in, was a little awarkward. They have a large choice of drink but no expressos... the place is quite pretty with tables outside and the customers girls were so kind ! The decorations inside this business were nice little bit of retro it was cute. But the service was horrible. Employees did not smile they ignored me for a while then an older white lady came out the back and I can see why she was very very upset causing lotta tension but still no reason to ignore a customer she looked straight at me and just kept on walking. I arrived at 930am, so the rush had passed, ordered they big joe ,eggs hash browns and a couple of pancakes, I received it 1015, 45 MINUTES TO MAKE A COUPLE EGGS!! And EVERYTHING was COLD!! I've eaten at Natchez Coffee 3 times. 1st time was pretty good, second time a disaster, and third time's the charm. Here's the thing-if you want eggs and coffee past 10am in Natchez, your choices are 1) Shoneys (and a nasty one at that) or 2) Natchez Coffee. Yes, the service can be slow (interminably at times) but if you want ruthless efficiency, vacation in New Jersey. You're in the deepest spot of the Deep South. Take a breath. Things are slower here I recommend the standard breakfast plate with grits and house toast. The grits I had today were coarse, stone ground grits-in other words, the good kind (available with cheese as well!) I had eggs over medium (cooked perfectly) crisp bacon and best of all, the house yeast toast is closer to French Toast-totally indulgent. Ask for the Devereux hot sauce for the eggs-amazing Now last time, I got the Papa Brown omelette "with everything", and it was the worst attempt at an omelette I've ever experienced. Let's just say that my idea of eggs usually doesn't involve huge chunks of zucchini and squash. That said, today's experience was a delight. The server was quick and efficient.
