Fun coffee shop with good eats. Superb chai and a very hearty crab cake Benedict. Super busy and popular spot and I totally get why. I must visit when nearby.

I'm a foodie and I've never EVER had a waffle combo this good. The Pecan Praline Waffles, omg. Best. Things. Ever. This combo of the praline sauce and the whipped cream with the crunchy but soft waffles was absolutely amazing. You know that feeling when the comfort food hits and you have to bow your head and put your hand on your head, these did that. I live 4.5 hours away but am already planning when I can visit again just for this combo.

Ok, the place is clean and very well put together!! I love the aesthetic for sure. The food was good but not something I would go for again. And my biggest mistake was taking him hungry. Each plate was $17 plus tax and while I definitely don't mind paying for food it was not enough to fill him up. The staff were extremely sweet and helpful!!! And the food came out relatively quickly.

Visited Le Bistreaux for a quality breakfast while my car was being serviced at Walker Automotive. When I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the customers. I ordered an americano to drink and got the Big Breakfast combo. The food came out very quickly and the layout on the plate was picture perfect. The eggs were cheesy and fluffy as well as the 4 Belgium style waffle triangles. The combo came with a lot of protein so it left me full and energized. I sat a little while longer to finish my coffee in the comfortable chair located by the window. My only complaint was a self error, I wanted my bacon softer but even extra crispy the bacon was amazing. Le Bistreaux had many options to choose from and I will be dining here the next time I'm in Alexandria.

So the over killed the mocha but that's ok... I'll just skip the bottom half of the drink. Coffee was ok. It have a feeling less syrup would have allowed me to really know if it was good or not. This review is for the omlette . This was legit as could be and fresh to order. Cheese melted in my mouth and and they didn't skimp on the ham or bacon! Wish there could have been some onions or green peppers added but figured I'd try it out and I was happy I did. Staff was very chatty but kind and the brought us our Coffee and food which was great.

Food was delicious! The employees were all super sweet and friendly! It was a quiet and quaint place. We live at Fort Polk and will have family visiting, so I said this will be my go to stop on my airport runs.

I ordered the COZ SALMON BENEDICT A split Toasted English Muffin topped with Smoke Salmon + Cream Cheese + Poached Egg + Hollandaise + Challots + Seasoned Potatoes. It was so delicious and tasty. I added a crab cake it was wonderful as well. My drink was the rocky mountain coffee. The service was swift, the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend everyone to try the place out.

Boy.... Where do I even begin. This place hit close to home when my mother was around to make breakfast! Service was spectacular in every way. I felt more like family than a customer. The vibe felt familiar. Like I had been there more than once and something just couldn't stop me from going back! Love this place

Awesome. Great food, worth the wait. A million times better than the terrible Huddle House or ihop.

I have been in the Alexandria, LA probably a dozen times in the last two years for breakfast. The…read morebreakfast is pretty good (if you can get it hot)! I don't understand why there is always 3 to 5 orders just sitting at the pickup area for 10 to 20 minutes waiting to get picked up by the waitresses who don't seem to be in a hurry to deliver the meals in a timely manner (while still hot). The time before my last visit, I asked to have my Waffle first before the rest of the breakfast so it would be hot when I got it. I waited 20 minutes and asked my waitress about it and she had not put the order in!!! Not the brightest bulb on the tree! When she finally brought the waffle to my table, I put the back of my hand to the waffle, and it was barely warm with ice-cold butter on top "and" she delivered the rest of my order (eggs, country ham, hashbrown, grits and toast, all also just lukewarm and the eggs & toast were cold. She brought me another "hot" order and looked at me like I had horns! The last couple of times I have eaten there I have sat at the counter on a stool literally 3 feet from the food pickup area so the cook can pass my plates to me as they come off the grill nice and hot! Nobody wants lukewarm or cold food. The solution is too easy, either they have a food expediter to immediately pick up the food and get it right out to the table and/or ring the bell that an order is ready and so the waitresses hear it or know it is calling her, if the restaurant has four waitresses the cook should ring the bell four times in succession, if there are only two or three waitresses then just ring the bell twice or three times. If there is a manager, he/she needs to make sure the waitresses and cooks are on the same page and more of a sense of urgency to get the food out hot! IF THEY EXPECT A NICE TIP! If I get good hot food and good professional service, typically leave a 25% or more tip, but these waitresses are lucky if I leave $2. I left two stars because of the issues afore mentioned. If I were grading just the food, it would be 5 stars.

At 74, I've eaten breakfast at a lot of places that when you left you felt satisfied. May I suggest you try the breakfast at Bracato's on Coliseum to see value for the money paid. Case in point a large pancake, 3 strips of thick bacon 2 eggs to order, biscuit & gravy and a "large bowl" of grits and free coffee for about $12. I'm busting when I leave there as when I left after eggs 2 thin pieces of bacon, your 2 small pancakes, small bowl of grits and glass of milk, I felt like I needed to stop for an Egg Macmuffin. Also, you may try any of Huddle House breakfasts which are also large enough to satisfy an appetite (and they have a large piece of Country Ham (salt cured). When I was stationed in San Diego, there was this old dumpy-looking place 30 miles east of San Diego out in the middle of nowhere named Jane's Country Kitchen. Driving by you could easily miss it and drive by because it looked so run-down, but the 30 or so people waiting in line to get in gave it away. The place had about 6 booths and 4 or 5 tables that had mis-matched chairs. There was one waitress and the cook manning this huge grill. Their specialty was Omelets (6 eggs and up) that were served on a large oval plate, which came with bacon, sausage, ham or country ham and biscuits & gravy, or just biscuits or toast or pancakes...a very large portion of home fries. I would struggle to eat it all and be miserable for 3 or 4 hours....and go back the very next Saturday. Moral of this story is if you serve your customers and give them value for their money, you will see more customers who have been told by other "satisfied" customers how great your food is and you will see a line forming to eat at your establishment. The restaurants that don't get this concept, will eventually be shuttering their door because the customers find greater bang for the buck at other eating establishments. Just something to ponder.
