HIGH END CAR OWNERS: Use Nathan's! Call and ask for Adolfo and the flatbed. While my car isn't the highest of high ends, I would trust them with any car I have. I have a 2012 Porsche Cayman S Black Edition that I needed to get into the shop this morning. I found Nathan's while looking for a tow at about midnight, and needed the car moved by 9 am the next morning. Frank was very responsive and made it happen! On top of that, Adolfo (my driver) was extremely professional and pleasant. Adolfo treated my car as if it were his own. It is a manual and was stuck in 3rd gear, and he was patient and assisted pushing it out of my driveway. He even took the time to listen when I requested he not push on certain areas due to the materials they were made out of. Once we got the car into the street, I had an issue with the steering column locking (anti-theft stuff from the manufacturer), and he was also incredibly patient there. I almost gave up and started to ask him if he could just pull it and I could waive any damage caused, but he told me to take the time to figure it out, and even pointed out that my control arms were made out of aluminum and he didn't want to risk hurting them. In the end we got it on the truck the RIGHT way, and I was incredibly impressed that instead of being impatient, Adolfo took the time to make ME be patient with myself. He also took the time to use the ramps to avoid scratching the under-body, and used straps so no chains came into contact with my car. From there we had a great conversation on the ride to the shop. I was unfortunate enough to get one of my work vans towed recently. My fault, not theirs - I get that, life happens. What I can't seem to understand is how this business is allowed to exist while flagrantly violating California State law... When I went to pick up my van, I asked to inspect it. They refused to let me see the vehicle, inspect it, or collect my belongings until I had signed their release of damages. Obviously, I'm not going to release them without seeing the current condition. I reminded them that this is a violation of Section 22651.07 of California State law and they must let me inspect it at no fee during normal business hours as well as collect my belongings. They then tried to cancel my appointment and hold the vehicle for another day. I let them bully me into signing it just so I could return to work... but I am in shock that they feel good about conducting business this way. They also charged me a full storage day even though I picked up my vehicle as early as possible in the morning. Just pulling another one over on the average working guy.. nice job! Fun facts: California state law also says they must be open from 8am - 5pm however they conveniently only allow access during "scheduled appointments". There is also no appointment times you can make that will avoid a full day storage fee. I guess we all need to make money but these guys choose to do it through predatory and aggressive tactics. I work as a nurse a local hospital and got my car towed after work on Saturday night - oops! I called to pick it up the next day and they said that they are closed Sundays and I would have to pick it up on Monday. My boyfriend who is an attorney said that is against the law, they have to offer 24 hr services but I would have to pay a gate fee. So he called them back asking them to state that they are refusing this service in an email. The Nathan's towing rep then got nasty. He called me "more annoying than his little kid" and told my bf to "come down here and fight me if you're so tough". I was literally in shock haha. After all that, it turns out they do offer a gate fee - but once again Nathan's Towing assured me it would be more expensive than waiting till the next day at 8am. The next day they wouldn't give me an appointment until mid day and I had to miss part of work. They also charged me for the extra day anyways so it was more expensive after all. I get that no one likes parking enforcement but I have never been so disrespected in my entire life... all this from a "family owned business". "We rip you off and lie and will basically do anything we can to make your life miserable but.. 'we're a family run business!" News flash: merely calling yourself a "family owned business" does not make up for the fact that you and your girlfriend (or wife whatever) lack morals, integrity, and gas light people trying to pick up their cars from your "business". I think a more accurate way to describe Nathan's Tow are a family of con-artists who work in conjunction with the Manhattan Village con artists - harassing people trying to shop by towing their car BECAUSE YOU CROSSED THE STREET. Literally this is what happened to me "we have on surveillance that you crossed the street". I'm assuming this is coming from people who don't know what exercise is - and most likely do nothing but sit around and spy on people waiting for an opportunity to call their BFF the con-artists at Nathan's Tow. Nathan's Towing sure knows they're way around town. What was a very bad day was made much easier by this company. Today i was rear ended by some idiot on the freeway who waited for me to get out of my car before immediately fleeing the scene. The usual hit and run routine. Had no idea what to do in the situation so i googled the closest towing service in the area. Nathan's towing was there MUCH faster than i expected and was able to get my car (which was undriveable) out of the way from the 405 traffic congestion i had so embarrassingly created. The driver was very helpful in recommending an honest auto collision repair center and drove me to the destination without any problems. Thanks to Nathan's towing my car is now where it needs to be and being worked on as i type this. Thanks again for your speedy and VERY helpful nature. I will recommend you guys of the highest degree to anyone that needs your services. read more

My friends car was initially towed by the cities mistake and when I went to go get her car not only did We have to wait two hours before I can even pay but the lady on the phone was extremely rude I was asking her how the procedure works and all she could do was give me nasty attitude and a very condescending tone. Period she was extremely disrespectful!!! JOE!!!!!  this is how you train your employees to treat your customers whether the customers want to be your customers are not disgusting!!! If you don't know how to treat people in this society you should go learn there's training classes! Earlier today i left my keys in my car while i was washing my car. I didnt have much time left before i had to be at work. So i looked up reliable service and came across Nathan's Towing that happened to be the closest to my area. They made it to my place in no time and i actually managed to get to work on time. I had left my keys in my car this morning after I got to work and figured I was going to have to wait until the end of the day to get them out but I called and let them know what happened and they said they could be there in no time so I was able to get my keys out during my break which was really cool. They were quick and attentive and super friendly as well which was really nice. Nathan and I went through a battle against the mud. The mud had taken my car. After battling for 4+ hours in the pouring rain I had called Nathan. Nathan drove 30 minutes and was still cheaper than some of the towing companies I had called (many which were closer). Nathan is a good guy and caring. They stole my car from private property at my job. Now i have to travel 20 Miles to get out my away from where it was located from. My car was ILLEGALLY IMPOUNDED. They better bill the person who called to impound my car from property that they DON'T OWN, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. We had a flat tire 37 km out of Medicine Hat yesterday and he was there within an hour, we called the right guy as he knew how to get our bike and trailer secure on the trailer, so friendly and knowledgeable, recommended a place to get it fixed and we were back on the road in a few hours, very reasonable price as well, do not call anyone else, we were very impressed. read more
