What a gem! This museum showcases carefully curated memorabilia from old ballparks including the old Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium, Fenway, and more. Bruce is a delightful human with so many wonderful stories to share! This is a must-see for anyone who loves the game!

Bruce is wonderful!! Come check out these pictures, memorabilia, and historical literal pieces of the incredible ballparks that are no more. Bruce personally collected all of these, he shared stories and tales from back in the day baseball and being here just felt magical. Such a prime location right by Coors field, great to peruse before or after a game or to come by in the offseason like me. So much history to see and bask in. Ask Bruce to share some stories and tell him Allyson #1 sent you

A Gem of a Museum in Denver! We had the best time looking at all the baseball memorabilia! And, Bruce gave us a personal tour with all kinds of baseball stories! If you're a baseball fan this is a must stop!

This place is awesome! If you're a baseball fan you need to check this place out! As someone who's a mission to visit all 30 ballparks this is a great way to learn about some of the classic stadiums.

This little spot was just opening as we walked up, wow absolutely AMAZING! Bruce basically took us on a few hour tour and made us feel like family. If you are in the Denver area please go in and support this business. The time we spent there was so great and we learned so much about the history and already being baseball fans it was the icing on the cake for us! We were like kids in candy stores!!! Thank you Bruce!!

Right next to Coors field we spent $20 and walked through 10 rooms packed with baseball park memorabilia. It's one of the finest baseball collections in the world. Highlights at the National Ballpark Museum include a tribute to Colorado baseball history, seats from the classic ballparks, one-of-a-kind baseball artifacts, autographed jerseys, baseballs, uniforms and bats. Take a personalized tour led by Curator Bruce Hellerstein.

Just an absolute treasure! Located across the street from Coors Field it is a must visit before taking in a Rockies game. It is relatively small as museums go, but is jam packed with interesting and unique baseball artifacts. Bruce Hellerstein. President, Founder & Curator, is not only one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met, but also one of the nicest. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

Bottom Line: More of a very impressive private collection of ballpark memorabilia on display than a typical museum. My husband and I love baseball and touring various parks around the country so we were looking forward to checking out the National Ballpark Museum. The museum is a relative small space but it is packed with memorabilia like turn styles, seats, signs, programs, baseballs and such. It is a very impressive collection but in many cases it is hard to tell what you're looking at because signage or plaques describing the items are few and far between. I'm sure the very kind owner is glad to answer any questions but I wish there was a little more available for the self-explorer. Admission is $15 which seemed pricey for the overall experience. This is absolutely a five-star collection but as a museum I'm going to have to stick with three stars.

Really enjoyed myself especially for the Love of baseball . The owner and collector is so knowledgeable on each piece and you can just hear in his voice how passionate he is about baseball . They had so many great items that were authentic and had so much rich history that I appreciate so much . It's also walking distance from Coors field . Highly recommend .

I saw this place on my first trip to Denver in 2013 but it was past hours. On my second trip to Denver in 2017, I had completely forgotten about this place. Now on this trip, I made it a point to visit. They have a lot of neat things to look at. I enjoyed seeing all the different artifacts from the old jewel box ballparks. My only complaint is that I would like to have seen more but I know the space is limited. Either way, it was a nice to finally get to visit.

Located a block from Coors Field's home plate, the National Ballpark Museum is a wonderful place to visit if you are a baseball fan. The collection of items that baseball connoisseur and Denver native Bruce Hellerstein has assembled in this LoDo marvel is truly amazing. There are a lot of permanent exhibits that will cause you to pause and reflect on its importance, and the staff constantly updates exhibits. I have visited multiple times since moving to Colorado, and I find something new and interesting each visit. The museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Among the items: A Babe Ruth tax return, artifacts from some of the sport's historic ballparks (like turnstiles from the original Yankee Stadium or the cornerstone from Pittsburgh's Forbes Field), photos from baseball history, authenticated jerseys, game programs from memorable events, autographed baseballs, seats from former ballparks, even light fixtures from Ebbets Field. I love the stories about the items and how they were acquired. The museum also pays homage to Denver's stroied baseball past, displaying elements of Mile High Stadium and Bears Stadium, plus documenting the city's hardball history. Love the last pitching rubber used at Mile High Stadium from a Rockies game, and all their Denver Bears memorabilia. The staff is both helpful and accomodating, and can answer questions about all the items scattered throughout the museum. Love of the game is in abundance here, spend some time browsing, you won't be disappointed. If you are attending a Rockies game, it's just a short walk to the ballpark.

We joined as members, which turned out to be a great value since the membership cost less than purchasing individual tickets and allowed us to return throughout the year. Some of the toddlers were especially excited to see The World's Largest Dinosaurs exhibit (a separate ticket is required), which explores the biology and amazing anatomy of sauropods, the largest land animals ever to walk the Earth. We also enjoyed Discovering Teen Rex, which featured interactive exhibits for the kids. The fossil preparation lab was on display as well, showcasing Triceratops and Edmontosaurus fossils along with the tools used by paleontologists. Both exhibits were listed as temporary. The biggest surprise was the Wildlife Halls on the second and third floors. These 90-plus wildlife and habitat dioramas are beautifully detailed, many featuring enormous and exotic animals within realistic ecosystem settings. Everyone was impressed by how clean and vibrant they looked, especially compared to the classic dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History, which we still greatly enjoy. The Discovery Zone on the second floor was the biggest hit with the children. Designed for kids up to age eight, it offers a variety of hands-on exhibits. From uncovering buried bones in the sand to designing custom bug badges and experimenting with the force of moving water, it was difficult to pull the kids away. Outside the museum, there are additional attractions including animal statues, a playground, and a splash fountain. The museum is located within the expansive Central Park area, providing plenty of room to explore before or after your visit. We found the Denver Museum of Nature & Science to be well worth the visit and highly recommend it for adults and children of all ages.

In conjunction with with the Aboriginal exhibit, the monthly "Mindful Looking" program offered a deep dive into one painting in that exhibit as a group of maybe 50 patrons listened in rapt attention as the curator of "The Stars We Do Not See" gave us a deep understanding of not only how that piece was made, but also its historical, symbolic and hidden perspectives. This is just a tiny slice of the education, amazement and enjoyment the Denver Art Museum has to offer. It's a treasure.

If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. Sometimes if you time it right, their real life alien characters will make their way through the installation. I don't think there is any way to see or understand this installation in just one visit (they offer annual passes by the way). And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). I will say that this version of Meow Wolf is a little more winding and convoluted than other smaller venues. Things don't connect quite as well. But still a good time. Employees are all helpful and cheerful. You can make this into as much or as little of a day as you like. And it's 100 percent worth it.

You can lay on the floor or back in a pew on one of the many fluffy stuffed pillows and watch and meditate. They have great stoner music too (think Pink Floyd). We started with the meditation/laser show. The room, once the church sanctuary, is painted in the brightest colors imaginable. It's absolute eye candy. You sit (or lay) on church pews that are full of squishy pillows. The lights dim, the meditation starts and the lasers illuminate various parts of the room. Even with the rock music, it really was mellow and relaxing. I don't know if you're permitted to sit through it more than once but I know that I would have liked too. While the laser show and "brightness" may be the main draw, the arcade was the most fun for us. Everything is included, no quarters needed. I played ski-ball until my arm was tired. While my husband played Galaga, I was drawn to the lite-brite. Simple? Yes but I wasn't allowed to have one when I was little and this was an absolute thrill for me. We then went into another room where we played Mario Cart - the game was projected onto an entire wall. There were board games, more arcade games, crayons and markers...everything needed to unleash your inner child - my husband and I spent the entire afternoon doing just that. We're back home now. I'm looking at the clock thinking about what to make for dinner. You know what? Heck with it - I'm going to go color instead...
