Then we met one of the stallions and fed him carrots. We got in our cars and drove to meet some mares and foals. Took a bit for the mares to come and greet us but they all did eventually. Very friendly horses, especially when you have carrots. Lastly we saw the yearling fillies. Beautiful setting. This was so fun, highly recommend if in the area.

Today was my second time visiting the Woodland Art Fair. It's become one of my favorite art shows,…read morein part due to their rules. Per their website, every piece must be original and made by the artist, who's present at the show. They don't allow MLM products or vendors selling soaps, lotions, or candles, which makes it feel more like an actual art fair. No shade to candlemakers. There's a great selection of food trucks and drinks, including beer, cider, wine, mead, and non-alcoholic options. I appreciated how the beverage vendors were spaced out throughout the event. It made getting a drink easy and convenient. It's a huge fair with hundreds of booths. I ate the mac & cheese bowl from a BBQ food truck. It was tasty but lukewarm. My companion had a corn dog and was disappointed with it so he helped out with my food. Dog are welcome at this fair, and there were so many, which - for me -made the experience even better. We found free parking about 4 blocks from the event, which is always a bonus. Lexington is doing art fairs right. Louisville could definitely take a few notes!!

It takes about 20 minutes to get from the front gate back to the arena. They have very limited selection of food/drinks for this event. The rodeo is very entertaining and we had a great time. The acoustics and sound for the concert portion is terrible. The music sounds muffled. I think this year was worse than last year. They definitely need to work on the sound for future concerts here.

So this is the second time I went to try to see Rose McGowan. she wasn't there. Holly Marie Combs tells me that she was coming but was sick. I went with my sister. she wanted to see Shannen Doherty. I stood in line with her. This was the first day. We waited in line for almost 5 hours. my sister got her autograph, I was just there for support. The girl who was first in line spotted Brian Krause. I told my sister I was going to walk around and see who was here. Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters were here. Brian Krause and Holly Marie Combs. There was merch on different floors. It's a con so there were a lot of cosplayers. me and my sister went to get some food, it was pretty good. we were there for several hours. I got my picture taken with Beau Smith and his wife, they were awesome. I told them we would come back tomorrow. Today was more of a chill day. My sister got in Shannen's line again. I went and bought some comics. Barbara Eden was here. She had a really long line. I got a couple more autographs. Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee are here!!! I am going to get pics with them tomorrow. We said hi to Beau and his wife. They told some more stories. Love them! I went to the Buffy panel. It was so cool to see Charisma and James talk about their experiences on the show. Great questions from the audience. I went to the Twin Peaks panel. Mesmerized by Sherilyn and Sheryl. I am a die hard Twin Peaks fan. Words can't begin to describe how happy I was. I got my picture taken with Sherilyn and Sheryl. Sherilyn was really sweet! I said I can't believe it's Audrey Horne! she hugged me! WOW I got my picture taken with Sheryl, she was really nice too. We said bye to Beau and his wife again. Last day at the con, I am so pumped. I got a couple more autographs. I had the most wonderful time, I almost didn't want to leave. Today I took the Frankfort Civil War Walking Tour given by the history center. For those who simply want to visit the Kentucky History Center, the old state capital, and the Kentucky Military Museum you are in luck. $8 covers all 3 of these. They also have a research library where you can explore your family history if you are from Kentucky. As a member I have taken advantage of the research library and visited the museum numerous times over the years. By the way the Kentucky state capitol building is the only Union capital to fall in Confederate hands.

I didn't receive anything for two weeks, contacted the gallery and was told there was a mixup and the artist had left the country with all of the copies. Even though when i purchased it, the hotel had called the gallery to make sure it was available. I called, left a message, the gallery tried calling back, i was out of town. They said they would issue a refund, I never received anything. I am having to get the hotel to help with this. So, bottom line, if you go there and buy something, it might be a good experience. Buying in any other form may not be the best alternative.

I spoke with the owner about the possibility of my daughter taking dance lessons. I wasn't sure…read moreshe would be able to do this because her first priority is gymnastics and she trains about 12 hours a week. The owner was in the process of coordinating classes for the fall and asked if I would email her my daughter's gymnastics schedule and she would do her best to see if my daughter could participate in a class. I went home that day and sent the email with our schedule. I tried contacting the dance school the following week by phone and in person and was unable to reach anyone. When I received an email about the registration being open, I tentatively filled out the form. I was not comfortable registering for a class that I did not yet have a specific day or time. I told myself that having already spoken to the owner, that she would understand that we would not be taking classes if they couldn't fit into my daughter's schedule. I even attached another gymnastics schedule to the registration to make sure no scheduling conflicts occurred. I eventually received an email with my daughter's dance class schedule which was on the exact day and time she has gymnastics. I decided I was done with the business at this point. I thought I wouldn't have to think about this again, until I received a large bill months later for classes my daughter never attended and a registration fee. When I called and talked to someone about the bill, she said they would adjust the class fees but could not remove the registration fee because they took the time to put my daughter in a class. Yes, Jane's School of Dance, you placed my daughter in a class she could not take. I will pay your registration fee and now warn others of your classless business practices.

I cannot day enough good things about this place…read more I've been to so many community theaters in the past and everything looks good but it's all so unorganized and disappointing. The theatre, not so much the shows and the actors. We went to see The Producers last night and I swear I felt like I was seeing a real Broadway production. Everything from the staff to the programs to the show itself was top of the line. I was in awe! I would definitely recommend you take the time to see a show here and enjoy the atmosphere and the people around you. I may even have to take some time out and audition for a show myself. It's been so long since I did anything on stage. I feel like driving the distance to this place would be so worth it.
