These are subcontractors using this name. They are going to send random home inspectors out that are probably either bidding on a job or getting this off of some app. This company will not stand behind you. Steer clear Horrible service the guy took 45 minutes to do a home inspection on a three level house never went into the attic found over 13 pieces of blocking missing beams disconnected poor Work that was never reported. The guy rushed through the job. Did not check all of the outlets and promised to go on the roof and did not do it. Absolutely horrible service it was like a 5 year old came out to do this job, and probably would've done better. These pictures were taken by a new inspector who flat out said no one had stepped foot in the attic .. he could tell by the blown insulation. When this guy Dave left my house, he showed me all of the things he came up with..this was not included at all. He showed me the report and it had about four things on it cosmetic and the heater leaking. This company does not have a Google review for a reason. His excuse of the airport has nothing to do with him climbing in the attic and actually doing what it is they said they were going to do. National Property Inspections - Home Inspectors Near Me

We hired NPI to inspect a home we recently purchased. After moving in, we discovered a leak from the upstairs shower that damaged the ceiling below. This led to nearly $5,000 in repairs, including waterproofing and re-tiling the shower. When we contacted NPI to discuss the issue, their response was disappointing. They were defensive, condescending, and evasive when asked direct questions. They also offered repair suggestions without understanding the cause of the leak. To be clear: the shower had been constructed with standard drywall instead of proper waterproofing (something NPI wouldn't have been able to see), but there were also clear, visible issues such as gaps between the shower pan and tiles, as well as between individual tiles. Patchy attempts at sealing were evident, and any thorough visual inspection should have noted these flaws. Although NPI turned the shower on during their inspection, they failed to identify any visible defects. In reality, water intrusion issues can depend on factors like how the showerhead is positioned or how saturated the surrounding walls already are, things that wouldn't necessarily cause a leak during a brief test. This makes visual inspection critical. Yet, NPI's inspection report noted no problems. A contractor we consulted to repair our shower immediately spotted multiple areas of concern. In response to our questions, NPI said things like, "It is very easy to come in after an issue has occurred and point fingers," and questioned why we had re-tiled instead of just sealing, despite not having noted any sealing issues themselves. Trying to patch the shower with sealant would have only led to more leaks and damage. Thankfully, the three contractors we spoke with after NPI disagreed with their suggestion and provided actual solutions. I asked NPI several times to clarify why these visible issues weren't included in the report. I was hoping for a straightforward answer on whether they believed it wasn't their responsibility to identify visual flaws, whether they thought the issues developed after the inspection, or whether they simply missed them. Instead, they repeatedly emphasized that the shower was turned on during the inspection and dismissed any suggestion that they might have overlooked something. At one point, I was told: "This is clear to me that something happened between the time of the inspection and the time the shower was used (which you do not want to admit, even though it is the only explanation)." This type of response, combined with the tone of their communication, made it clear that NPI wasn't interested in a respectful or productive conversation. Their final message to me ended with: "You have proof of the SOP being followed with the pictures. There is nothing else from my side. Any other person/contractor cannot comment on any condition as they were NOT there the day and time of the inspection!" I followed up again and was ignored. Their report included one subpar photo showing about 20% of the shower walls, excluding the most problematic areas. NPI seems to believe that no contractor can assess the quality of tile work unless they were physically present during the inspection, which is both unreasonable and unprofessional. While I'm disappointed in the quality of the inspection itself, what led me to write this review was their unprofessional communication and refusal to even have a constructive conversation. We used National Property Inspection for our most recent house inspection after going under contract. Andrew from NPI was our inspector and did a great job! In addition to the regular reports that I'm used to, the $650 inspection came with a slew of additional features: RecallChek, Limited Warranty, Sewer Gard, MoldSafe, Platinum Roof Protection Plan and Radon Protection Plan, NXT Structural Warranty. A little overwhelming when handling everything else that comes with a new house, but it was nice to feel protected and like we had options should things go wrong. At the end of the inspection, Andrew was very patient in giving us a realistic overview of the condition of the house and what would need to be fixed sooner rather than later. Overall, he left us feeling confident that we could move forward with the sale, and that peace of mind was wonderful. One inspection was done by Doug and the other by Jeff. Both inspectors did a fabulous job - better than I've ever had before! I was impressed with the competence and professionalism. The whole process was surprisingly pleasant starting with the information I received ahead of time by email. Everything was explained well and I could do all paperwork and payment online. I especially liked that they sent a photo of my inspector ahead of time so I could recognize the person. Both inspectors were on time, treated me respectfully and explained things very well. After the inspection they answered all my questions satisfactorily, taking as much time as needed.
