We couldn't have asked for a better realtor than Caitlin to help with my daughter's move to Philly…read more Even though we ultimately found an apartment that wasn't one of her own listings, she had already gone well beyond the typical scope of the job -- for every place she showed us, she took the time to research the surrounding neighborhood so we could tell whether it was a safe, good fit for my daughter to live. Moving to a new city with no real local knowledge is stressful, and we only had a few secondhand suggestions from friends to go on. She filled that gap for every option she recommended, giving us honest, specific feedback about the different neighborhoods so we could make an informed decision instead of just guessing. If you're relocating to Philly and want someone who treats your move like it's personal, she's who you want in your corner.

Alex worked with me to set up two days of appointments across about 7 apartments. He was patient, super responsive, arranging things behind the scenes like a mastermind. On the second day I found the place that I'll be moving into next month! Rent Scene made the entire process incredibly manageable. I can't recommend them more highly. Raphael Castro Injury Law and myself -- we sued OCF Realty, LLC and won by a landslide victory!!!…read more My biggest recommendation after renting from OCF Realty, LLC: Keep excellent records, document everything, and never rely solely on phone conversations. It's not what you know--it's what you can prove. Save every email, every work order, and every written communication, take clear photos of all issues. If you have an in-person or phone conversation, write it down immediately afterward, including the date, time, everyone involved (including yourself), and a summary of what was discussed. This is called contemporaneous documentation. If you ever need legal representation for a landlord-tenant dispute, I highly recommend Raphael Castro of Castro Injury Law. Raphael was phenomenal throughout my case. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and guided me through every step of the process. Whoever the owner is of Centra, I hope you salute them. Priscilla helped me over the phone, and she understood that I needed the person in the unit above my possible unit to be there and walk around so that I could hear the sound from above. I called back a day or two later, and Priscilla said, "Is this Mills? We are still trying to connect with the tenant in the unit above." I really appreciated the effort she made. William showed me the unit and was very helpful with getting the tenant in the unit above me to be there and to walk around. He listened to my concerns about my overall search and gave me his candid opinion about what might be best for me. He was on time in showing me the unit and very knowledgeable about the building. I really hope the Centra owner knows how good these employees are.

One guy did keep putting pressure on me threatening to pull the deal if I didn't get them out. But all in all they waited the extra time (past our original closing date) and we sealed the deal. Because I live out of state, they made it very easy for me to send me the contract, closing documents, etc. and even had the title company send a mobile notary to my home for me to sign the papers. Though we closed several months ago, I am just now getting some pictures of what they've done with my parents' home. I spent the first half of my life in that house. Bibe generously shared her expertise and guided us through the entire process, patiently explaining each step. She tried to screw us (the buyers) over by lying about another offer being higher than ours just to get our escalation price. When we asked for proof per legally stated as a condition in our contract, she lied that she would send it over, but never did. She then intentionally ignored us when we followed up with her, which caused us to rescind it. She suddenly contacted us 3 weeks later when the original buyer's financing "fell through," which was most likely due to the home not appraising at the purchasing price. We accepted it since we just started our home search and liked the neighborhood. Everything went quite smoothly until she and her lazy team did not pick up their Lockbox & large For Sale sign still staked in my front lawn weeks after closing despite us reminding them. She did not apologize for that and sent a passive aggressive email to my agent when I sent a final reminder. Someone in her team eventually showed up with no advance notice nor apology whatsoever and knocked on my door early in the morning when I was at work. My contractors were fortunately there that day to answer the door. My final bad experience with her was when we asked if she can reach out to the sellers about something important and she completely ignored us. We have all the emails as proof of her unethical behaviors and horrible communication. This woman is so unprofessional and I don't recommend dealing with her if she's the other party's agent!
