Once the water was removed and the walls and floors were dried (somewhat), I called LV Home Service to do the work. I don't even have the words. The guys were wonderful, all of them. They were honest in what they could or could not do (Insurance. You know.) My one request during the work in my kitchen, living room, family room area, and dining room was to please save my granite countertop. Naturally the cabinets had been drenched beyond recognition and had to be removed. The reason I wanted my granite to be saved is because when I bought it seven years ago, it was 3 cm thick, which is a centimeter thicker than most granite and I was able to find it for a great price. Plus, it fit into my design ideas perfectly. Somehow, against all odds, they saved my granite! The amount of work that had to be done to remove my destroyed engineered hardwood flooring and replace it with new engineered hardwood flooring was epic. But the work was done, the wall repairs and painting were done, and everything was beautiful. Moe was outstanding and answered all of my questions. Back in July 2022, we had a small leak coming from our upstairs bathtub into our primary bedroom closet and floor. The leak only happened when the tub was full so it was a slow unnoticed leak until the damage was done. I contacted different companies through yelps inquiry service. LV Home Service was the first to respond. I also was going through my home insurance who only quoted me and granted me less than 20% of the actual cost of the damage. Moe immediately guided me with what steps to take with working with my insurance. He also worked very closely with my insurance agent to get me the right supplement for my claim. The great thing about his business is that he can pretty much do anything you need without having to hire out subs, so less work for us. I can't say enough about how wonderful Moshe and his team are at LV Home Service. I was pretty nervous because I've heard so many horror stories about hiring untrustworthy contractors. (This is why I always check YELP reviews.) Anyway, I saw LV Home Service on Yelp and called Mo. I explained the problem and texted him photos. He reviewed my photos and emailed me an estimate on Saturday. I approved it Sunday. His guys, Ivan and Humberto came on Monday at 7:30am sharp. They worked until Thursday at 3:30pm. You cannot tell the new cabinet from the existing cabinets. This was a tall order but, Salvadore was up to the challenge and built a perfect cabinet with 2 rolling shelves. I do not know about their work, but their customer service is pretty bad. I have water damage and have been contacting them for while, sent them emails with the scope of work and still no response. I keep calling and following up and they are always busy. I told the lady on the phone how urgent my rest was and she did not really care, just said the owner will call me at the end of the day. Its been over a week now and I told her I will look for another company and she said sure its your choice with no urgency. I understand they have alot of business so they are busy which mean they do good work, but common, you do need to imporve on your customer service. Specially when your potential customers are waiting for 1 week to get drywall fixed after water damage. As for you comment Moe, the review was left out of desperation. I called a week ago and I was told a work authorization form will be send. That never happened. I called and again and I was told to send a email of the damaged and I will get a quote or atleast someone will be in contact with me. That did not happen. I called again and you said I am going to get a call back and never did. I called again another day and I was told that you are busy and find another company if I like. Having used LV Home Service for fireplace remodel, and very satisfied with the results, we gave them a call and were relieved to learn that they also do remediation and of course rebuild. Reliable and Attentive My kitchen and bathroom had to be completely demolished and rebuilt, due to water damage. With a poor quote from my insurance (a third of what other contractors quoted me) I was unsure what to do next. I didn't want to start work without first having funds secured, being left footing the bill. Luckily I stumbled across Moe and his team. Moe worked directly with my insurance and got them to raise their number. Leaving me only with my deductible out of pocket. LV Home Service did an excellent job remodeling our first floor: tear up 900 sqft of stone tile and carpet; lay down vinyl plank; and remove a half wall and some small closets. The whole team stayed Monday to Saturday and finished everything, all at once. They kind of just started at the front door and worked their way around to the garage door; no waiting around, no breaks in construction. Someone on the team was good at each thing (no high spots or dips from the tile demo!, the flooring looks gorgeous!, the skip coating on the walls matches great!) but stayed the whole time and helped out with other tasks. Even when the outside electrician/plumber showed up the rest of the team just adjusted so it happened seamlessly. It could have easily been weeks just waiting around for the stone tile to finish before the drywall started, and on and on like that. Moe, the boss, was always available by text and shows up about once a day to do a short walk through and make a punch-list. He had a good understanding of the current state of the house and the finished product so even vague descriptions over text went smoothly. From some of the bad reviews: Quoting and payment processes are pretty informal, but very flexible and detailed. This is not a California Closets type experience where they make a model of what you're going to get, then you commit to the exact picture (we're doing that also: not bad, just different). You need to check out the website and reviews, have a good idea of what you want, then trust Moe and his team are going to make it happen. It helps that every little part of the job had it's own line on the quote (eg. each wall was a separate line item) and price was fixed for that part. Overall, everyone seemed personally invested in doing a good job. The last day was just cleaning and touch-up, but the whole team showed up and made sure the place looked good. read more

Having moved recently from California, we knew no one here in the valley. We only knew we HAD to remodel a portion of our house, most especially the kitchen. After calling a bunch of different contractors (most of whom didn't respond), we scheduled 4 for interviews. Out of the 4 scheduled, 2 were no-shows and so we interviewed 2. We selected Moshe and LVHS for our renovation. I say with confidence we chose well, we chose correctly. SHOULD BE TEN STARS!!! I am not one to post many reviews but I definitely wanted to share my experience with Moshe and his team with my full home remodel. I have done 4 full home remodels in the last 20 years and this one was by far the best! It took me almost 2 years of meeting with contractors before I found someone (Moshe) who could align with my expectations and at a fair price. The challenges I have found in the past that Moshe mitigated with no problem include 1) contractors asking for 20%-30% down and always having to be way ahead with the payments they expect without work being completed. Moshe was amazing with his payment schedule! It was always a 'pay as you go' model and I paid as work was completed. Most contractors say this payment arrangement is not possible. Well they are wrong! 2) Bids that are written in ambiguous statements so you don't know what's included in the price. I was determined not to be sucked into this game as in the past when I accepted this approach we would end up in a 'sorry that's not included in the price.' Moshe itemized every single detail on the bid. More detail that I have ever seen from any contractor I have ever worked with in the past! This allowed me to clearly understand what I was paying for. 3) Contractors who try to be dramatic with how difficult something will be to do. Moshe has a very relaxed 'no problem' demeanour. Additionally, once the work started he was perfectly fine when I deleted some of the line items and was very fair with prices when we added additional items. In fact he always found ways to save me money and even talked me out of doing things he thought weren't worth it. More often than not in the past I found contractors have major negative attitudes when deleting work and also hold you hostage with prices when adding new work. The project was done according to the timeline we discussed and his team was absolutely amazing! Two last things (I have learned not to take for granted from past experiences) is that his team showed up every day (yay!) and when unforeseen issues came up they were solved immediately. Recently our bedroom ceiling collapsed and created a disaster in our home. I initially contacted a company the does fire & water restoration to do repairs and quickly learned that was a huge mistake. After waiting over a week for the repair estimate I was told that it would be an additional 3-4 weeks before they could start the repair. That is when I contacted LV Home service. Moe's company did all of our painting internally, cabinetry, external painting, as well as some very intricate things that we wanted done that required Moe to trigger his creative engineering and he exceeded expectations. Moe is a God on earth. Not quite sure who these other entitled goofballs are who are posting negative reviews but they must have perfectionism complex. Sure, sometimes things aren't 100% perfect initially, but considering the magnitude and size of our job we had if there was even the smallest issue, we called Moe and he either corrected it, or his crew came over and corrected it. His motto was the customer is always right and he is amazing as is his crew. I will also say that during Covid my husband and I were deathly ill and Moe came over and delivered Homemade chicken noodle soup on our door twice! Who does that?
