I first went to NC Custom Tailoring on March 23rd with 10 shirts to be shortened. I was told it would take 2 weeks but needed 2 of them for a trip from April 1 - April 8th. They accommodated that request and I went to pick those 2 up on March 31st. They were identical shirts but for the color and when I got home and tried them on they were 2 different lengths. Since I had left another 8 behind to be ready by April 10th I panicked and went back the next morning for a remeasure. NOTE: That shirt is still not done correctly a/o this review on April 28th. YES, you read that correctly. A full month to correct a shirt length. I didn't go back to pick up the remainder of the shirts until Friday, April 12th, and was told the shirts I left behind on March 23rd were still not ready and to come back the following Tuesday. I asked to be called when they were ready so as to not make another trip for nothing. I WAS NEVER CALLED. Instead, I went in today, April 28th, and was told that the 2 shirts left behind that needed to be redone (one was too long, one was too short) were STILL NOT DONE. Not only that, but another shirt was missing altogether and they can't find it. Mind you, I am paying $15/shirt x 10 shirts, plus another 3 I brought in when coming to pick up the first 10. All you will get from the owner is an apology for their inadequacy. It is a SAD SAD business. Unorganized, unprofessional. DO NOT GO THERE. I BEG YOU!

When I arrived, they were friendly and told me that they would be able to press my clothes quickly and that I could receive my items the next morning, which was my request. I was pleased that only a few hours later, I'd received a text that I could pick my things up. I did and I was pleased with the service. I will say that the cost for just having the items pressed was slightly more than I expected as I've gotten it done in New York for cheaper, but I've also paid comparable pricing. I would definitely utilize Jones Dry Cleaning again to have my clothes cleaned and/or pressed when I'm in Charlotte.

The owner assured me it could be done to my exact specifications. She even invited me to try it on so that we could be sure to get it right. They were kind, understanding, and treated my dress with care. It took a little over a week to get my dress back. They still want you to pay upfront & now it will take up to a week turnaround. There was once sign in the window that said 'same day service'. Today I took in some dress shorts, take up 2 inch inseam & 2 inch waist, $40.00. I keep coming back because there is no real competition in the area & I never have had to bring anything back because the work wasn't done well.
