National Vehicle is a garbage company. They insert themselves as a middleman to try and get the financing contract from unsuspecting buyers. Their service is nothing for buyers and doesn't look to be worth much for sellers. They just list on their site and others to direct all inquiries through them. I was negotiating with a buyer who used them. I initially inquired through their contact sheet as they inserted themselves at the "dealer" but it was a private party sale. They did nothing but send me the sellers phone number. I called the sellers, we negotiated and agreed on a very reasonable sales price at 6% below asking, and we agreed I would be a cash buyer. Then they called national vehicle who told them not to take the deal we just agreed upon. No doubt they wanted the sellers to give them a buyer who would finance with them so they could make a buck. Sellers are free to do what they like even if that means being a dishonest broker and going back on your word, but National Vehicle is an especially sleazy outfit and I wouldn't ever touch anything affiliated with them. I am very disappointed in this Company the sales guy Kerry Hansher told me March was a excellent time to sell my 2022Forest River Palomino. He said they sold 40 trailers a month. So I was excited and believed his supposed expertise. We listed it for $18000 to begin with no bites I called and talked to him he still says to list it at $17,900 still no bites and I call again. Mind you I would think he would be contacting me to get this thing sold I call him every time. We have lowered the price 2 more times its at $14,900 now still no bites. I don't know how these people make money off of a one time fee of $499 it was a waist of money and valuable time to try to get realistic offers. We paid $599 to list our rv with National Vehicle and I would advise anyone to run away. It has been a total 0! Almost a month and no inquiries at all. Just a waste of money.We are seniors and they just take advantage and make it sound good but in reality, anyone can do themselves what they do for much less. I feel we got ripped off big time. I had a phone call a few months ago from Kerry wanting to sell my motorhome. I had recently been calling several people that were in the RV sales business and thought Kerry was one of them. Looking back, he was the typical high pressure 'used car salesman'. I trusted him, sent $650 to them and besides weekly email, have never received any calls from potential buyers. Dont use this business. Typical car salesman pitch to get you onboard with them. The highest number of contacts regarding my trailer were from RV Trader. National Vehicle does list your trailer on multiple sites, but theres a catch. They charged me $600 to do this and it was "special" pricing (usually around $700). For my trailer value, RV Trader is $220 and lists for a whole year. My listing is on National Vehicle website for unlimited time, but not worth it. I now have to pay RV Trader as a new listing. I was told there would be no renewal fee, but there is. It only lists unlimited for the $600 on 2 sites that dont get much traffic. I regret using this company. Hopefully I can save you the trouble and wasted money. read more

My wife and I were hesitant to pay the money upfront to allow National Vehicle to help us sell our 2012 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome. It took more time than we had thought it would take, however, National Vehicle ultimately was responsible for getting us a customer who purchased our RV. We were blessed with having an RV that was well taken care of and in really good shape despite it being 11 years old. We did have to put some money into it to make it more attractive. We were, unfortunately, trying to sell it at a time when there was a lot of inventory, which made it more difficult and made it worth fewer dollars. That is in no way reflected in what National Vehicle did to help us. The ads that National Vehicle placed for us more than compensated us for the amount of money that they charged for helping us. They were very helpful, and what they did was very much appreciated. Thank you National Vehicle for everything. It is wonderful knowing that the sale is completely finalized. read more

They contacted me regarding listing my RV for sale right after I talked to my financing bank ( Bank of America) I told them I was not interested as the person calling was high pressure salesman. He told me it was $600+ to list my RV. Again I said no. Then oddly I got a fraudulent debit for the amount. I immediately contacted my bank & disputed the charge. I eventually got the $ back, but still recieve emails from them saying they are doing their best to sell my RV. Scam ! I sold my RV on my own. Don't deal with these people they are pretty shady. All I can figure is they are in cahoots with the bank & that's the only way they got my debit #. My RV was on auto pay. read more

Just got off the phone with Mr. Mike Reisdorff. I was going to list my RV with them. Mike was a HIGH pressure salesperson who insisted I had to list my RV now, and that I would miss out if I didn't do it immediately. I explained to Mike that we were in the middle of selling our house also, and that I had not had an opportunity to look at the information he presented via email because we were busy prepping our home for sale. Mike went so far as to close out our conversation that Quote "If you get serious about selling your RV contact me" with a very snarky tone of voice. When does a salesman go so far as to insult a prospective customer? My wife is in sales and told me a salesman NEVER insults a perspective customer. Mike was not at all listening to what I was explaining and rushed over everything I was saying without listening. I am a kindhearted person but have never been treated this way and was very offended by this man. I will now NOT be using his service. I was contacted by Kelly this morning saying that he had been trying to reach me and if I was serious about selling my RV he would give me one more call well he did give me a call and I spoke with him this morning. The problem that I have with their business is that all of the bad reviews on here were like this call was with Kelly. When I asked Kelly specifically about how many trailers he had sold that were like mine at this time last year he gave me numbers that were not detailed enough. He told me 37, 41,40 and another 31 I said out of how many people are these numbers from. He says" in all of my years working here. I've never had anybody ask that question. I'm sorry I don't have that data to give you, " If you've been in business for 20 years, you would have that kind of information readily available. Sorry I will not be using this company because they don't sound like they're very proud of what they can do. Otherwise they would've had all that information ready, In my opinion. Had the same unhappy experience as other one star reviewers. It's a miracle if your RV sold fast with them because getting through their clunky system to talk to a seller is a feat. We got sucked in by their optimistic pricing suggestion and hard sell to list right away without checking the reviews first. In over a year we received exactly one call from a potential buyer, and that was only after we called to ask if anyone had contacted them about our RV, which someone had but they didn't forward the message. After over a year with no interest and lowering the price, we listed it on Facebook Marketplace and it sold in two days for full asking price. It's nice that others have gad a good experience. I had some neighbors tell me about National Vehicle and how their rig sold in 4 hours. I have a similar size and year rig so I gave it a try. Complete waste of $700 and 4 months. They listed my rig on a few sites for way more than it was worth. I told Rebecca this several times and I insisted on lowering the price more than once. They said they'd be with me until it sold. They forgot to mention that they don't renew the listings when they expire without more $ from me. I finally moved on and sold it in 30 minutes on Marketplace for a more sensible price. When I contacted them to say I'd sold it and to take down the listing, they sent me a referral since they'd done such a great job on my sale. Ha! I will never recommend this place. We were contacted National Vehicle Registry and told if we paid $550 our equipment would be placed in several auctions nationwide and they already had interested buyers placing offers way over our asking price. The $550 was supposed to be a flat rate with no other fees 'Guaranteed.' We hesitantly decided to work with them and were unable to reach them until we received a call one day from an unprofessional and high pressure salesman telling me we needed to pay $799 more in order to seal an even better deal than the one we originally were presented with. I told him I needed to think it over and he became very upset, didn't want me to get off the phone and kept telling me I was making a big mistake. No reputable company would behave like that. This is not a direct slam on National Vehicle since my RV listing with them was only on their website for one day before I sold the unit elsewhere, but I would like others to be warned not to jump into paying $600 for a listing with them until you've tried to post your vehicle yourself. I was caught up in the sales pitch by Mike with lots of talk of "I've previewed your trailer with potential buyers at your price point and there is a lot of interest so it should sell quickly." I bought the pitch and gave them my business. As an afterthought, I decided to throw up a listing on Craigslist. I ended up selling the trailer at full price four hours after it hit Craigslist. I had numerous all cash offers with backups had the first guy not taken it. So the lesson here for anyone considering National Vehicle is they may or may not be reputable but in any case, try listing your vehicle / boat / RV yourself on sites like Craigslist or Auto Trader before resorting to do business with them. I had never sold an RV before - and didn't know where to begin, how to value it, how to deal with listing it, etc. Called my old dealer and was given a very low ball bid. Ended up getting in touch with National Vehicle simply to get a more realistic idea of it's true market value. I'm so happy I did. I worked with Krista, who helped me not only with the valuation, but who posted it for sale on various RV sale sites. She would have helped with more, but it sold in less than a day, so I didn't even have to take the professional photos that they recommended. A dealer looking for my model made the bid, which fell within the range Krista recommended. The dealer had worked with National Vehicle multiple times in the past and Krista recommended him as a good buyer who would help make the selling process go smoothly. I described my RV in detail, including its defects and we reached agreement on the sale. My RV was picked up last week (after I verified the cash was in the bank). Overall I will say I was very happy with the transaction. Thank you National Vehicle and Krista for helping me - I really appreciate it! read more

We called National vehicle just to find out the value of our motor home. When they returned our call, we were informed that they could list it for us for $650. It was listed on 5/10/2021 and sold on 6/25/2021. They presented their approach for selling the camper and carried through on their proposal. We would not have had the contacts without their service. Very disconcerting interaction with their salesperson! I was recently cold-called by one of their salespeople after seeing my ad to sell my Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Box Truck. He gave a slick opening sales pitch, and was very enthusiastic and reassuring that they could help me sell my vehicle quickly and for a set "Reserve price". I then asked for a prospectus and sample contract, which he sent me links to their website. The e-mail he sent me only had a simple "Service agreement" stating what they said they would do. I told him I would do some research first and I would get back to him if I was interested in their "service". I did my research and discovered that there was a majority of negative reviews and problems with their service, and the majority of their customers called the company a "scam". The first reviews on the BBB were a bit concerning, so I did a bit more research and found a plethora of negative and very troubling reviews on numerous websites (including this one), which made me extremely skeptical about dealing with them. The very next day their salesperson called me back, asking what I thought and if I was still interested. I said that I was hesitant and concerned after reading so many negative reviews. He attempted to dismiss these claims by stating that they were were ALL for RV's and not cars or trucks. I then asked what their marketing and advertising plan involved. He then responded with the eBay #1 seller rating. I then asked what other plans and platforms they intended to use, and he immediately became extremely defensive and responded very rudely with "well then keep your box truck" and promptly hung up on me. The salespersons response just verified what I had read in so many other reviews about their staff being rude, nasty and extremely unprofessional in nature. I was still considering using their service, and looking for more information and details about how they intended to fulfill their claims, but the salesperson responding in such a manner demonstrated that they were not legitimately interested. I have lots of previous sales experience (selling very high-end camera & darkroom equipment {Hasselblad, Contax, Leica, Fujinon, etcetera}) and would NEVER treat a potential customer with such scorn and disdain after being asked a basic question, extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and very, very indicative of extremely questionable and overall dishonest salesmanship. In conclusion, I would NOT recommend anyone consider this business who so clearly demonstrated unprofessional and possibly unethical practices. When my husband and I decided to sell our RV we knew we had no idea how time consuming it would be. We tried the buy/sell/trade sites and Craigslist, the only people who ever responded were either Spammers or lived in another state. We were to the point of giving up when a neighbor suggested using National Vechile. Immediately I thought that even though they did successfully sell her RV they probably charged an arm and a leg, but it was either give them a try or be stuck with this it forever. So I crossed my fingers and reached out to them. I don't like to admit when I'm wrong but I will happily admit I was wrong about them! Had a very strange experience with this company. I took the bait of getting an estimate of the value of our trailer that we are interested in selling. I entered our information on their form and not too long after got a call from "Mike." Mike seemed very helpful, gave me a few different values for our trailer (wholesale, retail and what we could expect from a consignment sale). He then explained their service. It seemed like a pretty good deal so I had him send me some more information in an email so I could discuss it with my wife. Not surprisingly, Mike called the next day and left a message. I had some questions so I put them in an email (I prefer email so I don't have to try to take notes while I am on the phone). Mike called and left no less than eight voice mails over the next several days. We had decided that we wanted to go with National Vehicle's service (despite Mike's hard sell) so I asked Mike to send an actual contract of specifically what is provided for the $599 fee. He responded with the same marketing email that he had sent previously and left another voice mail "clearing up" what he assumed was my confusion, explaining that National does not take possession of the trailer, etc. What he was doing was using a tactic known as a red herring argument to distract me from what I had requested: a signed document describing specifically what is provided for my fee. He also implied that he had buyers that were interested in the trailer. This was to get me to jump at paying for the listing service to make a quick sale. I am certain that if I had purchased their "service" that I would have gotten a call saying, "Darn! Those buyers went with another unit but we'll get another bite real quick!" This is a scam. They hook you with their listing service and then string you along with additional fees to run Ebay auctions. Pay attention to the poor reviews here. We saved $599 and a lot of headaches. The RV industry is about as scummy as they come. RV dealers make used car salesmen look like fine, upstanding pillars of their community.
