They're technically open "24 hours" and the owners states that you can call any time and he can meet you at the office. The primary office is a rental space but they offer other services such as passport renewal, notary, etc. When I first went I was grateful for the flexibility and Zee was very friendly. There were some difficulties getting good quality fingerprints and he submitted it saying that it should "be okay." A couple days later, I received a notification that my fingerprints had been rejected and I needed to return to the same site to get a repeat Live Scan done. I was in TO visiting family but I work a couple hours away, so I had to re-arrange my schedule to drive all the way back for a Live Scan appointment. When I had scheduled my first appointment, I had called about 1 week in advance and he requested that I call the day-of instead, preferably a couple hours before I could come in. So for my second appointment, I called the office the morning of and no answer. I called a couple more times, and still no answer. I finally got in touch with the operator (who I'm guessing works remotely) and at first she had no clue what I was talking about when I requested a Live Scan appointment and asked if I had called the correct number. She said she'd leave a message and give me a call back shortly. She didn't get back to me so I called again 1-hour later. She had no clue who I was even though I had just gotten off the phone with her, and we had to start over again. She then told me Zee was "not online" and would try to get my message to him and give me a call back. Again, no call back. I called her a third time- she still didn't know who I was and we had to repeat the whole song and dance. I decided to just show up to the office to see if anyone was there, but of course it was locked. The next day, I tried calling a couple times and no one answered. I ended up having to chat with the business through Google just to find out Zee was out of town and that he would get back to me. He gave me a call back the following day stating he was out of town with no service. While this isn't entirely his fault, I was really frustrated by the lack of communication and even more frustrated because I was specifically told not to call too far in advance (which would've prevented this whole fiasco). He is very friendly and I think the services are convenient... until they're not... but I was also uncomfortable because he sort of pressures every customer to leave a 5-star review on platforms such as Yelp and Google. Based on the other reviews customers have left, I'm sure my experience was an exception to the norm but next time I will try to find a place that is more consistent and reliable.

More importantly that we've found is that the other places don't have Zee!! He has e've not experienced this kind of service and approach anywhere else. I was greeted by a pleasant employee, to whom I explained that I needed copies of a small number of pages from the binder I brought in. She said no problem and I handed her the first stack of 20 or so individual pages. I am assuming she was a new employee because she had to call someone to ask how to load the half sized pages I had handed her. After several minutes I looked up and noticed that instead of placing the stack into the auto-feeder, she was placing each page onto the glass, taking a copy them flipping it over to copy the back. I stopped her and asked why she was doing it like that and she said the auto feeder wasn't keeping the I pages straight (which was due to her loading them in backwards). I explained that the order of the pages was very important and I didn't have confidence that her method could ensure that so I asked her to return the originals. She did. I then asked if they could produce a life-size cutout of a cartoon character for a birthday party I was planning. She took my info and promised a call back with a quote after her boss got back from lunch. So that must be an epic lunch because it has been over a week and no call yet, soooo.....still waiting.

Coincidentally I found myself in this shopping center doing some of my usual errands and the word postal caught my eye. I knew I had to go into the post office later in the day but when I found them I was eager to check them out. Postal junction is clearly what it sounds like - a shop to meet your mail needs, purchase supplies and shop for obvious items like stamps, cards, mailing boxes etc. I came in around lunch time and I was the only customer. A total breeze. I'm always waiting in long lines at the post office to get my refill of stamps or usually forgetting to ask for them when I'm at the few big grocery retailers who will sell you stamps. I can't tell you how much nicer it is now that I realize they are here just to stop in my for my regular stamp sleeve purchase. Being the only customer the cashier rang me up right away, was nice and I was on my way. Can't tell you how much nicer and easier this experience was now that I know I can come here to mail off some goods and buy my stamps. I assume that he was having a bad day, however, he made it clear that I was not welcome to come back without stating this directly. I sometimes I ship out things to businesses that will be returned to me. Because of past problems with this location I am extremely careful to ask them to put my name AND address as the shipper, so that it is clear that I do not want the shipment going back to their location by accident. This time the person that I did this through forgot and put MY name on the shipping address but Postal Junction's address. I contacted the company that i had shipped the item to and got the tracking number for the return to me and discovered that it was being shipped back to Postal Annex. Okay mistakes happen. I tend to not get too excited, no one's perfect. The UPS tracking number said the return package would arrive at PJ between 1:15 and 3:15, I showed up at 3:10. Alex wanted to charge me $5 for storage. WHAT? I told him that i had been very clear when sending the package out that I DID NOT their return address as the shipping address so as to avoid problems. He did not care, and was loudly arguing with me while his customers just looked on. I understand that people need to make a profit. But I also understand good customer service. Finally in a fit of irritation, he loudly proclaimed, "Okay take it" (without paying him his extra profit of storage $5 charge). If he were desperate and had kindly said "I need $5 it's a very bad time for me right now," then I would have given it to him, no questions asked. He does make money from UPS also and I always wanted to support him based on past business with him. Because of that past I give him two stars instead of one star But as I said, I know that I am not welcome back there.

Now I understand that he is just so amazing and so special and such a genuinely beautiful human being that he inspires people who never write reviews to write reviews, thus causing the system to be confused. He was extremely kind to me in helping me print my mother's memorial service program, was extremely patient and made lots of tweaks and proofs to perfect the product, and gave me a fantastic deal. LOVE EM.
