Our trees (see below) are in excellent shape with the excess fronds removed and the trunks intact and undamaged. Jose is responsive by Yelp and text, and his team prompt, available, and professional. I was concerned grinding the stumps down wouldn't get deep enough to remove all the material, and I would have caving in problems in the future when the organic material decomposed. Of all the companies I reached out to, they were the only ones who could grind down deeper than 12-14". They gave me a very competitive quote for all stumps at a maximum depth of 3ft from the base. They came in fully ready, with a sizeable crew and got the job done in less than an hour. They removed absolutely everything and exceeded my expectations. They also made sure to clean after themselves with no traces of dirt left on my driveway. I had the chance to talk to Beto for a bit, a very honest and knowledgeable guy. I ended up meeting Oscar, and shortly after, we had him come out to look our rental property in Glendora that needed quite a bit of trimming (multiple palm trees, an avocado tree, fig tree, birds of paradise, etc.). Oscar gave us a quote after checking everything out, and I really appreciated his professionalism and how eager he was to earn our business. We've had tree trimming done a few times before, so I'm pretty familiar with standard pricing--Oscar gave us a great deal. This company is unprofessional and unreliable…read more Unfortunately, our pine tree was stricken by the bark beetle and died very quickly. I'm concerned for my family's safety since it's a very large tree and sits just behind our house. We're anxious to get the tree removed and had scheduled Jose and his crew to cut it down over the weekend. When they arrived the first thing Jose said was "the tree looks bigger now!". He spent about 15 minutes looking at the tree and discussing it with his crew and then told me that they would not do the job. He made up an excuse about a cable up high cutting into a branch making it unsafe to go up higher in the tree. I explained that it was not a cable cutting into a branch. What he was looking at were two separate support cables installed years ago by Davey Landscaping (a very reputable company). The cables are in fact making it safer to work in the tree. Even after I pointed out his error he said "well we're not going to do it " and left abruptly. I think he and his crew felt the price Jose quoted was too low for the job, but rather than saying so and having a conversation, he chose to make up a story like a child. Sad
