My friends wanted to leave, but I really liked your host, Gabby, and they insisted we stay and introduced us to Alex our server. We had great service and I had the delicious golden beet dish-- I'm vegan so I had to ask for no cheese. The atmosphere was chill and fun, and the staff was all so friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!

5/5 Stars Absolutely loved Hulaballu in Palm Beach!…read more Came in on a Sunday night for a quick date night for two--no reservation and we were seated right away. The environment is so unique and cool: it gives off fun bar/pub vibes but with a stylish Italian twist. The ambiance is really nice overall. Only heads up: it's pretty loud inside (like can't really hear the person next to you without raising your voice), but that didn't ruin the vibe for us. The food was straight-up superior and 100% worth it. My fiancé got the Brussels sprouts (she completely devoured them) and the salmon dinner -- perfectly seared with an amazing flavor profile (farm-raised), served over mashed potatoes and veggies. I snuck a bite and it was fire. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, but honestly it was such a minor thing compared to how fresh and detailed everything else was. I went with the chicken wings -- fried perfectly and sauced to perfection. The guava sauce was authentic and on point, not some generic version. That alone is bringing me back! We also got the burger and fries. The burger was next level -- not your standard patty, but a thoughtfully crafted one with blue cheese and balsamic onions. What a killer combo! The fries were done right too, clearly made with care instead of just tossed in grease. Everything showed real quality and attention to detail. The service was warm, genuine, and made the whole evening feel homely and special -- not just standard waiter stuff. Located on Clematis, so parking is easy with the nearby garage or paid meters. Highly recommend for date night or a great meal out. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, almost everything else fell flat. The menu is quite limited, and the drink selection is even more restricted. No Merlot on the wine list? That was surprising. We were also disappointed to hear the skirt steak was already sold out by 5:00 pm, especially given how few entrée options there were to begin with. The food itself was a major letdown. The "de-boned" bronzino was anything but-- it arrived with tons of bones, making it unpleasant to eat. The French dip sandwich was downright horrible, lacking flavor and horrible texture. Service was slow and inattentive, which only made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, there was a bug floating in my martini. Water kept dripping from the vent onto our table throughout the meal. Little things like that really ruin the vibe. If you're going for the nice setting alone, maybe it's worth a quick drink. But for a proper dinner with reliable food and service? I'd look elsewhere. One star and that's being generous for the atmosphere and prime location.

I took a seat at the end of the empty bar and waited for a bartender. I was greeted quickly and offered a lunch and cocktail menu. However, I had to ask for the Happy Hour Menu (I arrived at 1:13pm). Not sure if this is a standard practice or if the bartender truly had just lost track of time. After perusing the happy hour menu (all items listed are $10) I decided on the Citrus Mojito, the Wagyu Steak Skewer, the Beef Cheek Empanada and the Lobster Bisque Shooter. The mojito was GOOD. Very refreshing, not too sweet, yet still light and flavorful. I felt good after one. The Wagyu Steak Skewer was the most UNDERWHELMING choice of the afternoon. Thick cut of meat, salted nicely, but if you don't like your cow still mooing don't order! I did not get a choice in temperature. It wasn't a huge deterrent for me but definitely could be unsettling for others. The Beef Cheek Empanada was my favorite bite of the afternoon. My only complaint is that you only get one per order lol. Flakey crust. Filled with nicely seasoned beef. 10/10! The Lobster Bisque Shooter has great potential, but today, was poorly executed. The lobster bisque itself is exceptionally flavorful, but terribly salty. It doesn't help that the cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich adds a layer of salt, that in conjunction with the soup, just ultimately cripples the dish. Any happy hour downtown with a $10 drink option is a gem in itself, but I would certainly return for the empanadas.

I picked Batch while walking by because it had the cutest vibe but we weren't expecting much. We were greeted by Rachel, the manager, at the host stand. She didn't just lead us to our table, she walked with us. She asked us if we were from the area and what brought us in. It was all small talk but felt genuine. She waited until we were seated to hand us or menus and it didn't feel rushed. Gabby, our server, showed confidence and love for the place when she introduced herself. They make everything from scratch here and Gabby sold us on the eggrolls and mac and cheese to start. However, before those could arrive, Rachel came by with an order of biscuits for us. These were absolutely to die for and the gesture was very kind. The eggrolls, bbq sauce, and ranch were the highlight of our food adventure here. You could tell this was all freshly made. We both ordered burgers and those were very good, hearty, and not greasy. Their house sauce B1 added a perfect element of smokiness to the burger. Gabby's service ensured we always had refills, never had to ask for anything, and the table was always clean. Rachel stopped by and checked on us and also gave us cute glasses to take home with us and coupons to come back for happy hour for some "off menu snacking". So if you're asking if Batch does things differently, they absolutely do. We can't wait to bring our friends next time. Ask for Rachel and Gabby and don't sleep on the eggrolls!

In fact, when we left all the booths were occupied plus half the other tables in the middle of the room. They gave us chips and salsa to start. The salsa was just okay. They had a number of lunch specials. We ordered from the combo section. I ordered a chalupa with ground beef without onions and chose the regular beans (vs the refried ones). I had to look up what a chalupa was... and basically it's a softer more bread like wrap. It was fried, so it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The portion was large with melted cheese. Alongside was a small scoop of sour cream and one of guacamole. A mound of yellow rice and a small taco shell cup of red beans rounded out the plate. It was good, but fairly plain tasting. Adding some salt and salsa helped a bit. My husband got a combo with two different options. He wound up taking one part of his lunch home. His meal came with refried beans and yellow rice. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

From the moment you walk in, you're hit with that warm, buttery donut aroma that literally makes your knees weak. Their staff is always so friendly and somehow remembers to ask if you want your donuts warmed--which YES, you always do. The service here is smooth, fast, and way more welcoming than other locations I've visited. Now the donuts... they're not just desserts, they're experiences. * The Brown Butter + Salt is the perfect mix of sweet, nutty, and a touch of savory heaven. * The Guava + Cheese (a Florida classic) tastes brighter and fresher here than anywhere else. * And their rotating seasonal flavors somehow taste like they were crafted specifically for this location. Everything feels extra soft, extra rich, and extra indulgent. And don't even get me started on their coffee--smooth, bold, and the perfect pairing for every doughy masterpiece. The West Palm baristas consistently get it right. Every sip + every bite = perfection. The indoor and outdoor seating is spotless, cozy, and aesthetically perfect for photos. It truly feels like a treat-yourself escape. Bottom line: If you're going to try The Salty Donut, West Palm Beach is the ONLY location you want. They've mastered flavor, service, and atmosphere in a way the others just can't compete with. Easily a top-tier dessert stop in all of Palm Beach County.

I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude
