My beautiful wife located this place and when i tell you, i thanked her all the way home. Lets start out by walking in the door and getting this homely, old school italian feel. It was 40 mins before closing on a Sunday, the complete staff still made us feel lived and welcomed. They went through the menu with us, they described anything that was needed. Let's get to the beautiful ambiance, we sat outside and had a nice romantic evening together. The food was beyond delicious. I got a chicken cutlet parm with vodka sauce on a huge hero. The flavor was on point, texture of vodka sauce was NOT overwhelming. The amount of mozzarella they put on it was perfect to where it had a nice even melt. My bride ordered an eggplant wrap drizzled with sweet balsamic glaze. Cant wait to have to go to NJ for something again just to enjoy this place one more time!

I've eaten from Natoli's three times. The first was a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich, the second was a penne and chicken parm meal and the third was for two slices of pizza. The chicken cult sandwich was delicious. Even with the condiments and lettuce in the sandwich the chicken was still crispy. Very, very good. 5 stars. The chicken parm was good but definitely not the best I have had. Chicken was crispy but I thought the sauce was on the bland side. 4 stars. The pizza was just okay. The slices were big which was good but the bottom of the pizza was flimsy. It may have been because I brought it home in their small box so maybe being in the box made the bottom of the pizza less crispy/a bit soggy? I'm not sure. I had to add salt and garlic to the slice which I never have to add salt to pizza. Honestly, probably better for your health but I cannot get over the soft bottom of the pizza. 2.5-3 stars. The restaurant is a small convenience store as well. Many family photos on the wall and grocery store products along the wall and in the refrigerators for purchase. I love family-owned restaurants and this place does a great job staying true to that vibe. The employees were attentive and friendly. If you are in the area, try one of their sandwiches!

First time trying a pizza in the Secaucus area, I was definitely not disappointed! I normally do not like a slight thickness to crust, but this crust at Natoli's was soft, slight crunch and flavorful. The white pie is definitely one for any foodie to try. The perfect balance of ricotta cheese with baked mozzarella. You definitely can tell also when an establishment uses superb cheese, Natoli's is on point ! Quick delivery and the pie was perfect temperature.

Came for my comfort sandwich (a chicken cutlet fresh mozz LTO mayo on a long roll) and was very pleased with my lunch. I think we might like this more than Gio's haha. The chicken cutlet was perfectly cooked and no yucky bits of any of that. Just good chicken. The service is I guess on the slower side but I didn't mind. It was 25 mins for 2 sandwiches but the bread was so perfectly crusty I immediately forgot about the wait after the first bite. They have some slices by the front and such which looked good. will be back for those. Adorable little place which is definitely a hidden gem.

When we decided to stay in New Jersey during our NYC trip, we knew we had to try some Taylor Ham. Natoli's had some seriously good reviews here, so it seemed like a no brainer. We decided to share the Taylor Ham & Egg sandwich and the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich. After about a 20 minute wait, they were brought to our outside table. They were both really, really good. The chicken parm was a gooey, cheesy mess but man was it ever tasty. Ditto the Taylor Ham & Egg. I loved how the ham had been crisped up on the griddle. Really terrific. The service was above and beyond, too. It's definitely not difficult to see why Natoli's is so highly regarded.

Best of the Best. My grandma slice was one of the best I've ever had - with a terrifically unusual sweetness in the dough. Service here is 10/10. "Robust menu" is an understatement, not to mention the nearly full stock of grocery items. Great indoor and outdoor seating areas. Pondoros and Panetones hanging from the sealing? Say what?!

I went to Natoli's for lunch and got the Philly Cheese Steak Panini (from the Monday Specials menu) and the Panini Italia (from the normal menu). The cheese steak panini had the typical ingredients and tasted like a decent cheese steak. The Panini Italia had grilled chicken, prosciutto, mozzarella, peppers, and balsamic vinegar. The vinegar taste dominated the flavor of the panini a bit too much for my taste, but the rest of it was good. These paninis were $10 and $9, respectively which were okay prices. This deli is definitely a local spot, as it is a rather small place (although there are several tables to sit at) and is located in a residential neighborhood in Secaucus. Parking is tough, as you have to find a spot on the street. The service speed is a little slow, because they make the sandwiches after you order them, which gives them the benefit of being freshly made. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The deli also sells a bunch of other basic grocery items including drinks, milk, beans, etc. Overall, Natoli's is a solid local deli to go to for authentic Italian sandwiches. I would recommend it if you are looking for this kind of food in the Secaucus area. read more

Everything about this place was so pleasurable! The place was so busy yet the hospitality was phenomenal. The owner greeted us, served us, checked on us and checked us out. All with the biggest smile, warm conversation and saying our names. Fantastic service! Now the food.....oh holy deliciousness ! We got a small cup of homemade pasta fagoli soup and it has to be one of the best soups I've had. It came with garlic bread for dipping and it complemented it so well. The sandwich we ordered had chicken cutlet, arugula, fresh mozzarella, balsamic glaze and roasted peppers! It was so mouthwatering - not heavy- fresh, light and flavorful. I was in the mood for a nice deli sandwich and this place did NOT disappoint. I called in an order for a prosciutto and mozzarella hero (because what is one without the other?) and the sandwich was ready for me when I came in. There were two cashier areas so wasn't sure the difference, but the 2nd one said he was open, had the food ready, gave me a sample zeppoli (nice and soft, although covered in powdered sugar. Delicious but dangerous!) I called the order for pick up but decided to just eat in, the guy insisted next time to tell him that so he'd get real plates and gave me a bunch of napkins and asked how it was when I finished. Really good customer service. The sandwich itself (all the toppings cost $.20-$1) was about $10 but it was monster sized. They are generous with the meats and cheeses. It was so good I ate it all, and it was too filling. Next time, I'd either get the smaller size or save half for the next day. I also want to get some of their mozzarella by itself to go, since that was a true star of the sandwich. Only downsides: it's on a street corner in a residential area, so parking at lunch time was tough. They have a lot of merchandise for sale, like a small grocery store, but not a ton of tables for dining in, most people probably take out though. The prices are good for what you get. I think the food + the service was outstanding and I definitely recommend. read more

I'm sure many of you have your favorite Italian specialties from a place you say is the best you've ever had. Well until you try Natolis on 7th Ave in Secaucus I promise you that you will change your mind. Try their daily specials which could rival any fine sit down Restraunt or forgive me mom for saying this your home made Italian families traditional meals and soups. I had high hopes for Natoli's. Heard a lot about it. The vodka chicken parm sandwich special looked and sounded legit. Unfortunately, it didn't hit. The chicken was rubbery but the vodka sauce was delicious. The pasta fagilio was one of the best I have had. So good and made fresh in house. They also had very friendly staff and made the experience pleasant. Glad I came. read more

The eggplant parm hero with pink sauce was out of this world. First place in a long time that the Italian bread did not fall apart despite how much eggplant, sauce and cheese was on the sandwhich. If you're vegetarian make sure you get pink sauce not vodka sauce, the vodka sauce has prosciutto. Staff was super friendly, overall great vibes read more

I got the large half veggies and half pepperoni pizza and cappuccino for delivery. Good price. Deliver to home fast. The pizza was delicious home style and I loved their cappuccino. Only took one off is because the large half and half pizza was made so roughly that the line was not clear between veggie and pepperoni. I ate my lunch too fast and forgot to take a picture!! This was our second time ordering from Natoli's and definitely won't be our last! The first time, our company ordered a massive sub sandwich with all the fixins and sides. The delivery person was amazing and helped set everything up. It was absolutely delicious! This order, 2 of my co-workers and I ordered salads. I got a simple tossed salad with tuna salad on top. Delicious. Huge portion, well packaged for delivery and even came with a medium sized slice of Italian bread. 10/10! read more

Great local Italian deli. An immediate sense of family and community from this small shop. My only complaint is that the wait was a bit long. I ordered the pesto chicken panini - so freaking good. Also got the egg salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll with lettuce, salt & pepper. I thought this could've used more salt but good texture. Came on a Saturday afternoon, so not sure why the wait was 20min+ but will definitely back for another sandwich. read more

Often I am at a loss for words due to the kindness of Steve and his employees at Natoli's. All Secaucus residents should make it a point to go out of their way to have their delicious food to support such a compassionate and great business. Food: their sandwiches and hot foods are incredible. The sandwiches are often good in size and flavor, as expected of a Hudson County deli. Pizza is average. Service: If it isn't one of the numerous people asking to help you behind the counter, it's the owner Steve himself. Everyone is always kind and it's a tightly-ran ship. Ambiance: inside is your standard grocer/deli outfit. A few small tables (limited by COVID). Not a lot of standing room at times but that's because there are a lot of people. They have a small patio in the back that is nice and comfortable. read more

This place was amazing! The seating area is literally a living room but some how managed to seat 8 of us LOL. I'm from Texas and even I was surprised with the portion sizes! The sandwiches are a decent size but are stuffed to their capacity. The meat sauce lasagna was delicious and the size of a 10in plate. Very quaint pizza place with delicious Italian pizza and pasta dishes! Employees were friendly and place was very nice. Pizza was best ever!! We ordered the Sicilian pizza. Each piece would have been a meal! It was delicious and very cheesy with just right amount of sauce. We ordered it with sausage and pepperoni. It was so yummy! We took home enough for three more meals! While we were waiting for our pizza we were given a cup of their pasta soup. It was very delicious with lots of pasta and tomatoes. This place is a true must go. This is my second visit, and plan on many more to come. These guys are located right near an account of mine for work, and the hospitality, quality food and amazing taste has made this a staple in my visits. The pizza is true quality, and the taste is absolutely incredible. The garlic knots are a great appetizer, and we tried the wings, which no surprise, we're great. don't get the hype on the place - tasteless pizza , if that's there own fresh mozzarella they should start buying it from. supplier. No salt anywhere and the crust is too thick, tasteless and seems stale if that's possible. Wings were over cooked dried out. I was starving and still hungry cause I can't eat this food. read more

Holy breadcrumbs and salami this place fucks! I walk in, get greeted by a couple of Italian stallion studs who promptly take my order. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was as good as it gets. Fucking love Italian delis. The owner, who I think was the father of the two Italian stallions, occasionally came out and kept those two in fucking line. "Ay, who moved the wraps in the fridge." "Not me pop, I was fucking milking the mozzarella..." Come get a sandwich here and shut the fuck up. read more

Not only a place for great NY style pizza but lots of authentic Italian dishes! Steve was very welcoming and gave us a great rundown of the menu of this 42 year old neighborhood fixture! Plain cheese pizza is not really plain when you compare cheese pizzas in the mid-west, LA and AZ. Natoli's is best eaten folded! . The broccoli rabe topped hangar steak was very delicious. All it needed was a few shakes of pepper flakes and we're off to the races! After Steve informed us how they make fresh daily mozzarella, we had to try it! He was not exaggerating! Natoli’s is owned and operated by Steve Natoli. In 1977, at the age of 19, Steve opened what was just once a small grocery store. He immediately fell in love and just before his last semester of Senior year at William Paterson, decided not to return to school and run his store full time. Today the store has evolved into a full fledged deli, pizzeria and catering service. Steve was born in Union City to a large Italian family, where many of his recipes come from. And this is none other than "Tom's Delicious Pizza". Located directly on Summit Ave (and tucked in between 17th St/18th St) in the heart of Union City, NJ, this small pizza business has been dishing out mouth watering pizza (by the whole pie or the slice) dating back to 1998 (according to their website). Best of all, they have very generous hours of operation being open Monday-Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 12-10pm. I came here during the evening of Monday 10/13/2025 at around 6pm. Since it was a cool, windy autumn day, I wanted to find something in close proximity to my Airbnb. This part of Union City is fairly easy to get to (foot, car, transit, etc.) and doesn't get too busy. However, the inside is very small with only a few seats to enjoy your pizza. Their menu is quite extensive for being such a small place. They carry traditional and unique pizzas (in various sizes) as well as wings, fries, tenders, mozzarella sticks, hot dogs, burgers, pasta, and even seafood! However, my lady and I were just craving a piping hot pizza (by the slice) and this place absolutely satisfied our cravings! The guys that worked behind the counter were great as I ordered a slice of their "Chicken & Bacon" while my lady went with a slice of "Pepperoni". Prices here are very reasonable as my slice was only $4 while hers was $3. Once our slices were ready, we proceed to sit down, add our mozzarella & Italian seasoning, and were ready to indulge. I have got to say that this place is legit amazing. Some people say that this best pizza is in NYC but New Jersey is also up there at the top. The slices here are a traditional thin while they did not skimp on the toppings. And the crust had that amazingly consistent texture; buttery, crispy, and absolutely heavenly. All in all, "Tom's Delicious Pizza" is not only delish but the service, prices, portion, selection, and nostalgia of this place made it feel as if I was in an old school neighborhood pizza parlor. And if you just happen to be in Union City, NJ (which is roughly a 15-minute drive to NYC), definitely give them a try. When we arrived, what appeared to be the owner was greeting guests at the entrance. Since he was welcoming everyone and dressed differently from the rest of the staff, we assumed he was the owner. It was a great touch and immediately raised our expectations. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully match that first impression. We started with drinks: a glass of wine for me and an Old Fashioned for my wife. As happens too often in restaurants, the stronger drink was automatically assumed to be mine, and the drinks were delivered incorrectly. It's a small detail, but one that reflects attention--or lack of it. Bread arrived quickly, followed soon after by the food. I ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce. The dish was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. My wife ordered the house seafood salad, which was very good--fresh, flavorful, and easily the best dish we had that night. Our waiter spoke limited English. Once he realized we also spoke his language, the service became noticeably more relaxed and somewhat overly familiar. He immediately tried to guide us toward the most expensive items on the menu. When I declined coffee after dinner, he responded by saying something along the lines of: "Well, that's your choice, but the coffee here is very good," which felt unnecessary. We also had a small issue with the Old Fashioned garnish. The orange peel looked unusual, so we asked for the drink to be replaced. The waiter did replace it, though he first tried to explain that what we thought were worms were simply marks on the fruit peel. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu, which the waiter promoted heavily as the best dessert to try. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. Instead of the classic layered presentation, it arrived more like a cup full of cream with a few pieces of soaked bread and very little coffee flavor. The issue was not just the dessert itself, but the expectations created when it was described. Bareli's is a beautiful restaurant with a great location and atmosphere, but the service details and execution didn't quite match the level suggested by the setting.

For the mains: 20oz Bone In NY Strip with sautéed spinach. Perfectly cooked to my liking and I loved that it was pre sliced for me. Spinach was lightly oiled and a perfect amount of garlic. Salmon Special - Pumpkin seed crusted with butternut squash. The plate was beautifully decorated and looked fantastic, but as soon as we cut into the salmon it was raw. It was a huge piece of salmon. So I'm sure that's what happened. Picture shown is the under cooked one that was taken back. I did not get a picture of the next. The manager saw immediately as my wife cut into it and we didn't have to say anything. He took the plate back and began making another. The dish came out and it was definitely well done this time. The piece of salmon was a lot smaller than the first. I'm sure it was to cut the cooking time down and get it out asap. The meal was fantastic. Just wish we were able to eat together. It happens. For dessert: Espresso Martini - Perfect. No baileys, 3 beans. Pistachio gelato - fantastic Zeppole - There were 3 different sauces for each one. It was amazing. Our waiter Nathan and the manager were extremely apologetic. They even came out with a complimentary limoncello spirit as we were settling up. I can't wait to dine here again to give Bareli's the 5 star it deserves.

The crepe was a hit with my mom and sister and the portion size was just right. The Chipotle sandwich had great flavor though it was definitely on the greasy side. You will want a stack of napkins ready if you order it but it was still a solid sandwich overall. On a previous visit, we tried the Tres Leches which unfortunately did not live up to the rest of the experience. It tasted bland a bit like a boxed cake and I was not a fan, I might try the Tiramisu on my next trip instead. Despite the dessert miss the staff here is super friendly and sweet. They never make you feel rushed and take the time to explain the menu options thoroughly. If you're in the area and need a high quality cup of coffee Haute Dulce is a fantastic spot that will actually satisfy your expectations.

I would try more of their food were I to visit again. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because even by today's standards, I think the drinks are overpriced. The lattes are at least $8 and only come in one size that isn't especially large. The food seemed more reasonably prices from what I recall.

We visited last night with the hope of trying the pizza, but unfortunately, we discovered that the restaurant had just changed its hours and was closing an hour earlier than posted. While it was a bit disappointing, the staff was incredibly kind and offered us what they had left--7 slices of pizza. We were grateful for the gesture, and let me tell you, the foldable crust alone was worth it! This evening, we decided to do takeout and ordered a few different 10" pies: one sausage, pepperoni, and bacon (sorry poor lighting) and one sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and mushroom (not pictured), three pepperonis. We weren't disappointed! The pizzas were fantastic. One thing we didn't expect, though, is that the place feels more like a store than a dine-in restaurant, especially for larger groups.
