I have recommended this shop to friends and family. They all said it has been the best advice that they have received about a cannabis shop. I have followed this shop for years from 6th AVE to their current location. I have always felt very safe in their shop and in the parking lot. When I have asked they have watch me walk to my car and they are ready to help me. I have never needed their help. I recently flew out for my vacation unfortunately TSA confiscated a card and I hope the owner will give me a replacement card. The one star and 2 star reviews are not true. I have been there many times and have never seen complaints such as the ones mentioned. I would never go to any other cannabis shop even if I was paid to do so. No explanation, no attempt to understand, no verification beyond the orientation of my ID. Meanwhile, my friend with a horizontal ID was allowed in with no problem. It didn't make any sense and felt arbitrary and unfair. What frustrated me most wasn't even being denied -- it was that they couldn't be bothered to explain why. If you're going to enforce a rule that literally turns people away, the least you could do is communicate what that rule actually is. Instead, I was just left standing there confused and bounced. Service wasn't helpful or accommodating in this situation, and it definitely didn't feel welcoming. If your policy is going to discriminate based on the format of someone's ID rather than their age, that's something customers deserve to know before they make the trip. I get that venues need to check ages, but what happened here felt bureaucratic and unnecessary. Until they explain or fix this policy, I won't be coming back. Would not recommend based on experience.
