They turned a combination of grass, ivy, random palm trees, weeds, and invasive bamboo into a Southern California native and drought-tolerant oasis. Once demo of the existing landscaping began, they also worked quickly & efficiently to complete the project. Our experience with Natural Earth LA was extremely positive. The owner Geordie was very easy to work with and was available to take care of our concerns in a timely manner. Even though it was a large project that involved a landscape based on LA natives it was done without stress and working with Matt on the deign we were able to bring a lot of the elements like a dry creek bed, water features,veggie and fruit garden, perennial garden etc etc. The crew that included Tony who was the foreman were very diligent and always receptive to our concerns. I've never worked with such an unprofessional unethical company in my life. I was VERY specific about what I wanted and the owner attempted to force me into a full replacement of all my landscaping, as well as flat out lying to me about the products used. When I continued to clarify what we agreed to he became aggressively rude and just walked off the job. Bottom line, he did want my job if he couldn't force me to do $10,000 worth of work. I make it clear I wanted to do the work in phases and he didn't like that. It was an all, $10k job or nothing. It was the level of lying that was unbelievable by the owner Geordie. There is something terribly mentally wrong with him and I recommend staying clear of him! read more

I used them to landscape and do irrigation and lighting for a very large yard two years ago. They were not great to work with throughout the project (rushed through everything). Didn't do the design I wanted and pushed back when I said I didn't like what they'd chosen to do that was not what I wanted. But two years later, I've had to do many repairs and have learned from others that they cut corners on their work, didn't implement what they said they would, used cheap parts and put in so many extra plants that I've now ripped out 40% of what they planted. I've had leaks, had to replace the lighting, had to replace all the drip lines and had to redo a lot of the irrigation because they never hooked it up properly. They were extremely expensive and I wish I would never have hired them. read more

Matt and Hayden walked my property and asked me questions that went beyond "what do I want" since I didn't have a clear vision yet. Matt was my designer and project manager. He worked with me over the course of a month to finalize the design that worked within my budget. It doesn't get any better ----We hired Natural Earth Landscaping and they delivered in a big way. We now have our own park. We didn't want the desert look so they designed one of the most beautiful landscapes for us. We have a double arroyo, stacked broken concrete planters, rustic bridge, zen garden, sitting area, decomposed granite paths and walkways all among California indigenous plants with an elaborate drip system and and a timer that is weather directed. The workers arrived on time daily and worked M-F until the project was done. The owner was here daily also, giving direction and making sure we were included in the decisions. Our family, friends and neighbors come by daily to see the project and tell us how much they love what was done. This was a huge project and we are more than happy with the results. They even applied for the rebate, took the pictures, and when it was done took completed pictures and applied for the inspection. We can not say enough good things about Natural Earth. Our property is over an acre and our water bills were outrageous. Natural Earth designed a water friendly landscape for our upper and front yard and installed a drip system for our entire yard. The yard is now water wise appropriate and visually appealingly. Natural Earth landscaped my front and back gardens three years ago, and neighbors and people driving by still slow down and admire their work. Everything about this company is professional.
