What kind of Walmart is this. Looks like a regular one on the outside, but that's not what's on the inside. This Walmart was a total disappointment. We went inside with our grocery list in hand. If you need groceries go somewhere else. They have no fresh meats or produce. We ended up having to make a stop at Whole Foods and were barely able to get the meats that we needed. You can't tell me that this Walmart wouldn't sell meat and produce if they offered it. Do better Walmart! read more

It's okay to be a smaller Walmart. Nothing fresh (meat, veggies, fruits), but a few hundred feet away in Safeway, you can shop for these. Value is Walmart's draw. I picked up a printed photo, beer, snack finding everything very easily. Not much of a beer selection, but I'm not really a beer drinker. Service was a surprise. Not sure how ol' Sam Walton would respond to a refugee chattering away on his phone, wearing sunglasses, and watching as I loaded my own items back into the cart at checkout. read more

Visited this Walmart while staying in Frisco for 2 weeks. Walmart in Third world countries are better than this one. Most employees are all immigrants who don't speak English. The store is so disorganized. Clothing choices are very sparse. Save yourself frustration and go to the Safeway at the opposite end of the shopping strip. I will say the pharmacy at Walmart was efficient. I had to get a refill for a prescription and it was ready quicker than one would be ready back home. Walmart should be embarrassed by this store and hopefully will see some of these reviews and make a change. read more

This is one of the strangest Wal-Marts I have been to. This year I travelled to Breckenridge for a work conference. I landed in DEN and drove the rest of the way. I knew that I wanted some stuff for my room and found this WM on the way to my hotel. The first unique thing is that this is a small location. I am used to the Super Wal-Marts of the south but I guess that wouldn't work here. The next unique thing was that I passed two homeless-looking dudes as I pulled in and then immediately drove past a Ferrari. If that isn't a perfect description of Colorado, I don't know what is. Inside the store was oddly laid out. I had to walk around aimlessly searching for Celsius, water, and Gatorade. But eventually, I found them. Then came the next odd thing. No bags. Well, no plastic bags. I had to pay 99 for one of those bags that is reusable. I guess I can get behind the whole saving the environment thing especially this environment out in the mountains. It is less easy to want to save the below sea level area where I reside. Just kidding. Don't take away my Louisiana street cred. If you are traveling to a mountain town, despite the weirdness of this location, you should stop here and get some supplies. read more

I think they are going thru a remodel phase.Being a local it is an easy grab and go spot for to buy items for your car or home or OTC pharma.I have to say that I was never a fan of Walmart,however their pharmacy has to be it's shining star.Andreiy is the most friendly and proactive pharmacist I have ever met.That said I think I will avoid the place until the revamping is complete.Presently it looks like Mr Druckers store in "Green Acres" Shampoo next to next to oil filters next to barbies..... you get the picture. As an aside I find some of the comments thinly veiled racist dog whistles. Many of the employees are Nigerian.They are by nature shy,but very nice and hard working.Give them a chance and say hi, and break the ice.You will feel better about your self! read more

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, my wife and I were shopping at the Frisco, Colorado store, and while we were at the checkout, one of the people stationed at the exit started speaking to us rudely simply because we greeted a friend at the register. My husband told him that was no way to speak to us, to which the young man, whose name was OUSMANE, continued raising his voice and snapping his fingers, practically forcing us to run out of the store. This happened in the self-checkout area, almost directly in front of the exit door. It's a shame that this happened because the image that the Walmart chain always projects is one of good treatment and professional service, which is completely contradicted by the shameful behavior of this employee. Like going on a safari, however on safaris the guides speak enough English to help you understand things so this Walmart is much worse than that. The african helping me did not even understand the word "cash" or "total". This location should get a bunch of English dictionaries sent over translated from magugga languages. read more

No fresh produce? Boooooo. It wasn't busy for a Thursday evening around 7:00 PM. Every single person wearing a WalMart vest (assuming an employee) was either on his/her cell phone or standing around in a group of fellow employees talking and laughing. I did not see much work being done. The ice machine had no ice and nobody knew why. My checker was a nice young lady but it was obvious that we interrupted her texting and chat session on her phone. People were standing around eating as well!!! What the heck? I'll never return. read more

Probably the worst Wal-mart we have ever been too. The employees are rude, unhelpful, they don't smile, it's just weird. It's definitely not your friendly Wal-mart. The food selections are horrible, and the whole set up is very out dated. I would say go to Safeway down the street for better food selections, but the customer service is just as bad there. Employees just talking to each other and avoided eye contact completely. I would say that this Wal-mart has hired the laziest people on this planet and the most unfriendly people as well. This Walmart is trash, everything is a mess and no one works in there, most of the people working are either teenagers or older people who are above the age of 40 and none of them know how to speak English, you can ask for help and they will ignore you , I would much rather drive and hour to another Walmart. read more

This Walmart is always out of stock, the employees all hangout together, laughing and chatting or playing on their phones, they take FOREVER to help you with anything. Today when I came in, ALL the registers were closed and there was a mile long line at self checkout. Then on top of that, after my husband and I decided not to wait in that line to do someone else's job for ourselves, we tried to walk out and got scolded by the greeter to use the other door. This Walmart is just like any other Walmart - huge, and lots of items. Their grocery section is a bit small though. I came here to pick up some Gardetto's Rye chips, and the first time o did, I ordered online and came to pick up. The entire process was smooth and quick, and that experience was pretty great. All the other times I came, I went through self checkout which is fast and convenient, especially for just one or two items! read more

Coming from newly updated Wal-Mart's, this is an absolute blast from the past. It felt so dated in here, low ceilings, dirty. Nothing wrong with either of those being at a Wal-Mart, just culture shock. The Wal-Mart feels as if it's been here forever. Very few employees, cash register employees didn't feel welcoming. But staying the night in Frisco, and needing a few key items, Wal-Mart can save the day. There is a Safeway right near by, which feels like a smarter option if needing food, but Wal-Mart is a one stop shop which is why they are the king of convenience. read more

i was there to buy a phone card and the employees there were harassing me the whole time since they saw me i was with my boyfriend they were racist with him because he defended me in his language that's spanish and they started saying that this is america that's embarrassing that people like us is in this country is not welcome when those workers are from africa and came here to have a better life and it's not the first time this happens i went to subway like 2 weeks ago and they did the same so i'm not gonna be able to that store because i don't feel safe of that workers that don't mind their own business i'm so disappointed of this walmart never coming back read more

Manuel in the electronics department went out of his way to help me load a 70" tv into my suv. He was very patient and kind while helping me select a model, even though I changed my mind several times. So glad this Walmart is here. It has saved me numerous times when I needed something late night. In a sleepy mountain town like Frisco, nothing is open late and able to serve your needs like Wal-Mart! Target in Silverthorne is great too, but Walmart is so much cheaper!! read more

This Walmart is the highest elevation Walmart in the World at over 9000 feet. It's right off I-70 on the South Side, on the way to Denver. It was after 11 PM in October, when we were trying to get to Denver. Below 40 degrees, and Nothing else was opened except this Walmart and they saved us--we were able to use the restroom and buy water and some other things. Most interesting, were the clothing shelves filled with all this heavy winter gear--cheap! I have never seen so much winter wear in a Walmart. I don't think that they carry any of it in Southern California Walmart. read more

There is a good variety of Colorado swag and outdoor wear for skiing (in season) . if you see garbage, will you please pick it up? This was definitely not the Walmart experience we are used to having. We were in the area for five days, and needed groceries for several meals for eight people, kids included. When you are on vacation, and are dying to hit the slopes, you don't want to have to go to three different stores to get what you need---like we did. It's a good place to shop around the bad thing is the employees most of them are not kind or they seem racist also they follow you around they spy on you into the restrooms and then they spread gossip about you to your family if you have the unluckiest circumstances that your family members worked there . If one of the people in your party has to deal with a clothing issue after a day at the slopes this is a great place to stop. It's in an inconspicuous location. Not the big megamart you are used to seeing. It blends in well with the small strip mall it is in. They have a decent selection of things and came in REALLY handy today when you don't want to spend a fortune at the slopes to get some new clothes. Will return if I am ever in the area and need to again. read more

If you told me two months ago that I'd be giving Walmart 5 stars, I wouldn't believe you. Alas, here I am, writing a glowing review for the big-box store everybody knows I hate. While I still prefer Target and local stores to Walmart, this certain store isn't too shabby. The customer service is top-notch (save for a few grumbling cashiers, but what Walmart DOESN'T have those?) I bought an intex air mattress here. That was 6 weeks ago, and I'm on my FIFTH air mattress! Seriously, Intex is a terrible brand. Their air mattresses are guaranteed to leak within the first two weeks of use. Don't ever buy one. Consider yourself warned! Anyway, the nice ladies at the customer service counter were very understanding and i was able to exchange the air mattresses without any trouble. Yesterday, when I woke up with a sore back and yet another deflated Intex air mattress, I was hesitant to bring it back to Walmart... again. I didn't want them to go, "Oh, great, here comes the crazy air mattress lady again." So I called Walmart and explained my situation. The lady on the phone was all, "Of course! Come on by and we'll exchange it for you!" So I went. I brought another Intex air mattress to the counter (just because I couldn't find anything else that looked good). The lady took one look at the box and asked me, "Are you sure you want to get that?" She then told me that Intex air mattresses leak all the time and I'd be better off getting another brand. She was very helpful and gave me tips. I ended up taking her advice and getting a MainStay air mattress. She was very cool and helpful (and she probably saved me 10 more trips to Walmart!) I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not used to encountering nice employees at Walmart. Where I come from (Chicago), Walmart is widely considered to be dirty, ghetto, and unfriendly.
