Natural Grover's is part of my grocery store routine for many reasons. The first thing I do is check out their sale section which is a great place to pick up some meal gems for just a couple dollars. Next I grab a live kombucha soda from the drink cooler, then peruse the health and body section to sample some essential oils and face products. Often I bring my water jug for refill and pick up some snacks or staples. The grocery departments have all the essentials at fair prices, and the bulk sections is an excellent way to save money on essential herbs, spices, and baking ingredients. The freezers have everything I would want and there is a separate sale section for meats. The produce is the weakest department but that's probably because they focus more on quality than quantity. The supplement section more than makes up for any weakness with its extensive array of productions. Check out the kitchen in the back for classes! I love the little details that make this store special, such as oil diffusers at each cash register and the bag-free environment. Using a recycled box from products in the store just makes sense, or you can bring your own reusable bag.

Now they're getting rid of stuff that I purchase all the time, mushrooms number one I used to get nice shiitake trumpet and lions mane mushrooms gone all gone if you want flavor there's nothing like a shiitake all they have is white portabella and baby bella. They don't even have the major health benefits and glucans that you're specialized mushrooms have so there's no reason for me to shop at Fry's anymore I used to buy other stuff cuz I went in because they had a wonderful mushroom selection oh well ! Honestly it's not a major loss for me there are so many better stores out there nowadays

They still have the pizza take out bar with a variety of toppings. They have some items or brands you won't find in other places but may not have brands you get elsewhere. It's nice to discover some new things you haven't tried before. The bakery has some tempting things to look at. The store is large with wide enough aisles so you can browse easily. Prices are a little higher than other places but some things may be worth it. The parking is limited only because of all the other businesses in the area. I'll go back and look around again. I can usually find something I want to try.

Walk straight into the fruit and produce area and then I wind my way around usually picking up items. I didn't plan on buying like chocolate bars and popcorn. But the store often feels manageable and not overly crowded. The parking lot also is not as chaotic as the one on Oracle and ina. Fruit always looks pretty good as do the vegetables and avocados which I shop a lot for. They could really step their game up in the florals department. Then it would almost a one stop shop for me!

I guess you have to be a little bit crazy to want to do customer service work and to do it well because the shoppers at the Wilmot location have been known to be grumpy, hung-over, rich people from the Sabino Canyon foothills area."

They add features, cute trade names, and try to develop cults around products to boost sales. While it's not a bad idea to boost sales, the basics have to be right. I have to choose this locale, where I went Wednesday, to moan about the severe hike in prices, short cycle of products, and the drift from doing the basics correctly. TJ used to march to a different drummer. House brands with quality for household staples, often with an international flavor and source. There is still a wide variety of decent international staples, but it's highly focused on cult products and flavorings. Prepackaged and ultra-processed foods are becoming standard(s). Protein is down, carbs are up. There's still a reasonable variety of veggies, fresh, but not in wide abundance. Certain common items, like walnuts, go missing for long periods of time, and other items become seasonable and their shelf space is unreliable. So while it's still good, there is now wade through the weeds of products that are edge-case. Hail Mary Marketing attempts. I bristle.
