I had a bruised foot so I asked to just have a polish change. She removed the rest of the gel from my toe nails and repainted my nails with gel polish. It felt very rushed. I got back to the house and realized that I had a smudge on the polish on my big toe. We were packing to leave the next day, so I was unable to go back. $65 for a gel polish change, no massage. Today, two days later, the polish came off a 1/2 of one of my toe nails. We got home yesterday, so it's not like I can go back.

They were very willing to spend time doing it to my specifications. It wasn't the stylists usual technique so all considered I'd go back and I would recommend them. I specifically wanted my nails to look nice for my husband's Coast Guard graduation ceremony this weekend, so I was especially upset with how the appointment turned out. I've had multiple French tips done at this salon before, but this is now the third time I've been scheduled with Jay, and each experience has involved an argument over what I'm asking for. I ultimately leave with nails that are not what I requested, and today I paid $137 for a manicure and pedicure that I am extremely unhappy with. I asked for a barely-there light pink French tip using Funny Bunny for the milky-white tips. I showed Jay a picture of exactly what I wanted. Multiple times throughout the appointment, I had to correct him because the base color was looking too orange and too dark. He assured me it was fine. I specifically told him that I wanted a very light pink base with the milky-white Funny Bunny tips. He then told me, "No, it won't look good. It's too light." He suggested doing chrome instead and said that the French tip "won't look good, in my opinion." I explained that I felt it wasn't going to look right because the nude color he had chosen was too orange and dark, and that I had specifically asked for a French tip with Funny Bunny. He then told me he was only going to use bright white because Funny Bunny "won't look good." At that point, I was so frustrated and uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave, so I agreed to the bright white even though it was not what I had originally requested. Unfortunately, the final result is not what I wanted at all, and I'm now stuck with nails I paid $137 for that I don't feel comfortable wearing to an important event. I was so upset during the appointment that I almost started crying. I understand that nail technicians may have professional opinions about what will look best, but there is a difference between offering a suggestion and repeatedly refusing to do the colors and style a paying customer has clearly requested. I shouldn't have to argue with my nail technician every time I'm scheduled with him just to get the color, shape, and style I asked for. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and like my concerns were completely dismissed. Below is my receipt and the picture I asked for and what I ended up with. The owner says come on by. Quan did my much needed pedicure. He did a phenomenal job very thorough. He took his time allowing me to be so relaxed and relish in this spa chair. The place is easy to get to, very clean salon. I drive by here so often and never paid much attention. Definitely a new find for my nails, Pedis. Based on this experience I do Recommend this business highly. Their rates are the same as the current market, however, the customer service is superb. Definitely stands out above others. Then I was referred to Cindy Corona... and wow I first took my daughter for her hair and makeup, and she did an amazing job. So I decided to trust her with my own hair color--and she absolutely delivered Cindy was on point with exactly what I wanted. She took her time, explained everything, and made sure the end result was right--not rushed, not "close enough," but exactly right I've already booked my next appointment with her, which says everything. I've seen a few negative reviews....nope, not Cindy. Sometimes people bring their own issues into situations. I'm not sure if the artist was new but it took nearly an hour to even glue the nails on. There were also globs of glue under my nails that were not drilled down. The artist was going to do sparkles, but decided against it but did not wipe it off all the way so I had sparkles on only one nail. Also, some nails were not cured all the way and the airbrush was literally peeling off before I left the parking lot. I went back in to get it fixed but after waiting for 15 minutes, I just went down the street to get my nails completely redone because of everything that went wrong and the fact that I was already there for 2+ hours. I decided to give Kosmo another chance because I heard that they were more of a hair salon than a nail salon, so I go in for a haircut and highlights. I emphasized many many many times that I want warm, caramel highlights. The highlights I received were not only too blonde/yellow, but a bit choppy as well. I will say that my haircut was well done though and had very nice layers. Also, the workers were very nice.
