As you can see in the pictures, this is the result of the last grooming for my dog. Pictures were taken during our afternoon walk, after I picked her up from this place. Naturally I went back to raise the issue but all the communication had to be done by email. The manager of this place NEVER apologized for this issue despite the communication that we had, and of course no credit for the money spent. My usual petfood place closes at 7 which i find out today at 7:08 :( Did i mention I used the last of my pet's food last night? And that he eats a super premium kibble Orijen?!? Well, like a ram in the bush for Abraham from The Lord, Natural Pawz was 3.2 miles away and open till 8 (thank you Google - sometimes only the G will get it done) Entered the store and the employee working, Geoffrey, was the bomb diggity awesomeness and helped me. Not just to find my food I needed but a little extra above and beyond with a personal problem. So professional and understanding and knowledgeable and not even for a second throwing shade I showed up during pre-closing. Wow!! I'm seriously impressed with the quality products from this store. Today's my baby's birthday and I checked out this place to get some presents for my cat. I got the sunflower feather, taco catnip toy, some protein poke, and homemade cookies. She loved the taco catnip toy, she played with it as soon as she sniffed it for a good 15 min non-stop. I purchased catnip toys from petco mainly and she never showed this type of interest. I guess this store's organic catnip has great quality. I forgot to take photos but they have a lot of cute items for cats; I haven't been to a store that has this much things for cats so it was a pleasant surprise. Then, she loved the protein poke gravy. I think I am getting more of these as well. Awesome purchase. She didn't really show much interest on the cookies though. I think it was made for dogs mainly and they were quite big. But the lady who helped me listed which ingredients were in each cookie, and they seemed all safe which is helpful to know. Lastly, she liked the sunflower feather as well. This is my favorite natural pawz out of all the locations in Houston. We took our Aussie puppy "Doobie" there for the first time few months ago and the manager was extremely helpful with tips about how to train our puppy. Other staff members are very friendly and insightful too. I had to pick up two bags of dog foods today and could not carry them with me since I have my dog with me, the gentlemen was nice enough to carry the dog food from rack to the register then to the car. I decided to give Natural Paws a chance on my drive home from the grocery store. I told the manager that my Yorkie is picky and teething. She gave me samples for him to try and suggested I buy a bully stick. He loves his samples and will not let go of the bully stick! This has been a great fix for his teething! If you love your dog or cat, this is the place to shop! This isn't the Natural Pawz of old, this is a sparkling, spacious, new concept that is unlike anything you've seen in the natural pet foods industry. Think Whole Foods for your fur babies! I have always loved Natural Pawz because they have the healthy food and treats I want for my cat, Benny at very reasonable prices. Benny is extremely picky and only eats 1 particular wet food brand (Weruva Cats in the Kitchen), in pouches NOT cans for his dinner. Fellow cat people can relate to the finicky ways of our feline friends. My issues with the old location(s) was limited flavor selection/stock but I believe this was a product of their limited physical shelf space. This new store is HUGE, they have every. single.flavor of Benny's wet pouches and of everything else! This new store has an amazing selection of all your favorite natural pet food brands -- all the flavors, wet, dry, raw, you name it. Toys, beds, treats, and supplements are plentiful; they even have CBD products for dogs and cats. (I bought some CBD treats for my parents' super senior poodle too). I'll be stopping by tomorrow to pick up a bag of dry food and can't wait to see what else I find. I'm sure the selection of Fromm Family Foods will be better than everywhere else. I went in a few days ago for the first time and loved it! Melissa was extremely helpful and showed me around the new, spacious, modern and clean facilities. They also have in-house grooming (for cats too!!), doggie day care and they will even have a vet in house in the coming weeks. I applaud the people behind this revamp because they've truly elevated the pet shopping experience -- they've done their market research and it shows. My only suggestion to the powers that be is expand their cat toy selection. There's an entire wall of dog toys that look absolutely wonderful, but as my cat people can attest to, kitties are different. They'll sooner play with the empty Amazon box than with the stuff you that came inside. Cats really don't require expensive toys, just cheap, crinkly, shiny, feathery, bouncy toys. If Natural Pawz can figure out how to buy for cats they will literally have it all. Okay, one more suggestion: order online for in-store pick up would be really great for those moments when you're in a hurry. Maybe through an app? Maybe it's coming soon? Who knows what these guys have in the pipeline. I am only making a 1-star review to get attention from their managers to recall a Lot of one of their products. The dog food brand Zignature Goat formula has always been great for my dog with the following exception. The Lot# 29421PZGD has come with kibbles that are causing my dog to throw up and have severe diarrhea. I ask for Natural Pawz to ask Zignature to make a recall of this Lot number. My dog is a sensitive dog and that is why I use single formula brands. He is sensitive to fish and poultry, but he has never had a reaction like this. At first I thought his reaction was due to other reasons but after taking him to my vet when he got worse, we thought he suddenly got sensitive to this formula. After checking his kibbles, I noticed they were smaller than usual and with a yellowish dust. I changed his bag to another one and he got better and got healthy soon after. This happened again with a future bag. This time I noticed the change in kibble size and the slight color change immediately but decided to try to give it to him again in case it was just that one faulty bag, but he got sick again. So I returned it and explained in detail what happened. I want to express that Natural Pawz was very helpful and accomodating to exchange the product. My concern was for them to let Zignature know to recall the lot number. They told me they would but also to call myself. I didn't call Zignature, I figured Natural Pawz would do so. That is why I buy from them and not from Zignature. A month later I bought several bags and didn't realize one of them had the bad lot number. I noticed when I opened it and the kibbles looked different again. I went to exchanged the bag and wanted to buy more bags that had a different lot number than the spoiled one, and saw that most of their Goat Formulas had the flawed lot number in store. I was disappointed that they hadn't call Zignature and are still stocking with this number. I will call Zignature and I hope Natural Pawz takes notice of this very serious issue. I will delete this review once it gets the request done, because it is a great store that I love and people are great. But a product that can hurt dogs is very serious and needs attention. read more

The absolute best place to shop for natural pet foods and products. I have been shopping with Natural Pawz about 4 years now. They recently closed my location in the memorial area where Darian was the manager. Since he has started working at this location. The staff is always very attentive and nice and respectful! They have a strict 30 day return policy which is stated on the receipt and posted at both registers. I'm sure the review about a return and the staff is way over exaggerated! I've returned things many times with no issue. Remember you can't always have things your way. That's why companies have policies in place! I will always shop at this location for all of my fur babies Fromm food and Chasing our Tails bully sticks. I have been shopping at natural paws for years. I've been very happy. Today I was very disappointed because an employee wasn't wearing a mask. With the Covid numbers and hospitalizations increasing a business should require masks for employees and guests. Hailey was fabulous!! I decided to book with her for my dog because i wasn't happy with grooming at another dog salon. She groomed my dog exactly how I asked her to. I also asked for recommendations to help with his matting and she took the time to explain and recommend products. I will be going back and I hope my dog is happy to see her again next time. He seemed to love everyone there! All the associates were very nice and helpful. It took right under three hours.. for a full groom and tooth brush and nail grinding. I am happy I tried this place. I love coming into Natural Paws, but today I was disappointed and personally I will not be returning back to this location. While I came in there was a lady who was working who had her mask completely off and was trying to get into my personal space to ask me if I needed anything I told her no and went to go get my dog food. The other nice young lady was able to ring me up and check me out for everything. The lady who had her mask off was around her other coworkers and customers continuously having her mask off drinking her coffee while also coughing. I felt like that was super rude and inconsiderate on her part especially the fact that we still in a pandemic. I get it that the masks are sometimes irritating but in order to keep yourself safe and others safe you need to have them on, and I know that it's a corporate policy that they have to. Hopefully if she sees this she will be more thoughtful as to have her mask on next time or be more aware of her surroundings. read more

We had a wonderful experience here when we took our Miniature Schnauzer puppy for his very first professional grooming session. Our groomer, Ashley, was incredibly patient with our nervous puppy and gave him an expert full service haircut and bath although he was not particularly cooperative. We also had a quick and easy pick-up with help from staffer, Kyle. While Natural Pawz is slightly more expensive than some groomers, it is well worth the price. They use gentle products, have dryers in the kennels that are less traumatic for young dogs, are are efficient. The environment is very calm, clean, and comparatively quiet. I strongly recommend this location and Ashley in particular. read more

I have a really picky, spoiled dog. I wan him to be healthy so I give him the best. My dog is so picky he spits out anything he hates even good food, until we tried Orijen. I was glad I found it here, I'm not knowledgable of any other places that carry it. The first time I came in I asked for a sample, I've gotten stuck with bags of dog food thanks to my picky eater. And was told they didn't have any but if he hates it then they'll give me a full refund and will help me choose another one. They also helped me choose a flavor that he will like prior to purchasing. Well THANKFULLY my dog did not spit this out right away, or a week later(he's done it before -_-). It is on the pricier side but it last at least the whole month a maybe an extra week, I don't mind. I have been to several Natural Pawz locations, and have been very happy with the service generally speaking, except with the grooming services at this particular location. After arriving 11 minutes late to our scheduled grooming appointment with our puppy, the groomer stated that they already gave our appointment away. We rushed to get to our appointment after a delayed soccer game and when we were refused service, they said that they were adhering to their 15 min no show policy. We were not 15 minutes late, it's clear they gave away our appointment before I walked into the store, and after pointing this fact out, we were told, "Well, the appointment was given away; there's not much you can do about it now". The salespeople here are so helpful and really knowledgable. I don't like being told that Science Diet is terrible for my dog (which I know it is...), but they managed to tell me that in a way that didn't make me feel like a bad dog mom. I am so loyal to them that I almost bought Fromm on Amazon last night, but then I decided that it was worth paying a little bit more to be loyal to my local stores. They're worth it. They'll give free samples if you want to try a new food - a great way to make sure your pet will eat it. I like this location better than the Sugar Land location. read more

Very rude staff. In the past they agreed to a price and then failed to honor it 20 minutes later. Upon explanation, I found the communication to be very rudely handled. When you tell a customer something and then choose not to honor exactly what you told them 20 minutes earlier, it should be done with a better explanation and kindness. Carters Pet Depot on 1-10 is an amazing natural pet store with GREAT deals, awesome customer service and they stand behind their offers. This would never happen there. Natural Pawz is the place where I get my dog food. I like this location because normally you can get in and out fairly easy. They have a rewards program once you buy your 8 or 9th box you get one free. They have all the major brands and brands such as Stella and Chewy and organic grain free brands. If you have a sensitive pup, they will find something that works for you. They also have cute beds, and leashes a decent variety of treats. They only thing they don't have are any kind of clothes or bandanas, most of the cute stuff a lot of the other stores have they do not. They also carry cute little birthday cookies and treats for your little one. Prices are about the same as everywhere else. read more

I love this place! The owner's are so nice and helpful. I was interested in changing my dogs food from ScienceDiet to an all natural brand. As soon as I walked in the door the man behind the counter asked what I was looking for. After explaining that I had a very itchy pug and I was concerned it was the food causing this, he knew right away what to do to help me out...AND he let me take not one, not two, but FOUR bags of samples home so I could make sure my Piggy liked the new food before I commited to a whole bag. The selection is limited but it's because they only sell what is really the best for your pets. You don't need all that other crap crowding the shelves here.
