Raymond's training program was very thorough & we are very grateful for this program. Our dog Koda was 10 months old when he started the training program he had aggressive tendencies & would always require being carried into his kennel at night time for bed. When it came to walking our dog that wasn't even an option he wouldn't let us put a leash on his neck. After the training program with Raymond for five weeks, we saw significant changes. We were actually able to take him on walks & put a leash on him. When given a command he walks into his kennel without any issues. We highly recommend Raymond's training program.

Adlerhorst is also a big supporter of rescue and has been a fantastic donor and supporter. We have trained through them, certifying multiple detection dogs. Their store is a go to for us as well. Great working dog equipment, leashes, collars, tugs, suits, basket muzzles, and detection equipment. Much better than ordering online or driving two hours to a store that says they have working dog equipment, but horrible selection. The resumes, experience and reputations both Dave and Mike have are unbelievable. Their client list and law enforcement/government agency roster list defines that they are THE BEST and MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE. The best part about Adlerhorst is they are a family ran company. I was confused about the cause of her passing. I needed to know what happened. I talked to Jen Freilich, our dog trainer "At The End of Your Leash" about what happened. Jen was our trainer when Mackenzie was a puppy and we attended her Saturday socialization sessions on a regular basis. Jen is not only a fantastic dog trainer but also a pet communicator. She used her pet communication skills and contacted Mackenzie. Jen asked her what happened that caused her passing. Mackenzie communicated back that she had eaten something. I now know what happened. I am forever grateful to Jen Freilich for training both Mackenzie and myself. Giving us ten great years together. I plan to continue to use Jen's pet communicator skills to better understand my pets. She trains puppies to Villains and has many other classes that are great to continue with after your training sessions are over. Jen is only one of six in the world that is Certified to run a Pack 2 Basics Social too! There have not been any incidents with any dogs, I've been with her close to 15 years and this is one class my dogs have always loved! I've had three dogs in her programs, sadly 2 have passed, but our girl now LOVES to go to Jen's! There are basic group classes, Private Programs (great for that one on one with Jen) and Private Programs for that special dog that is fearful and aggressive. There is a Force Free Off Leash training class coming up very soon, an Animal Actor class currently in progress (Jen has connections with someone that supplies dogs for Hollywood!), and a Maintenance class to help brush up on the basics, or learn something new! Of course we pet parents have to do our part with ongoing training to keep our pets in their Super Dog status! I left a voicemail and placed a few calls over the course of a couple weeks, and not a single one was returned. If this is how they handle inquiries, I can only imagine how unreliable they might be when it comes to actual training sessions. I would strongly urge the owner to not market your services on Yelp if you don't have a good intake process for handling inbound calls for potential clients to eliminate bad reviews on the poor communication and lack of professionalism in getting back to someone!

Before working with him, walks were stressful and unpredictable, especially when we'd run into people with multiple dogs or a dog that was reactive on leash. Now I actually look forward to our walks. I feel calm, in control, and I know exactly how to respond in those situations instead of feeling overwhelmed. Two of my dogs, Paulie (my Great Dane) and Axel (my miniature pinscher), have had incredible transformations. My dog was hurt at a DogTrainer's Place in Corona called Well Mannered Bullies. It was at the…read morefacility at the owner's home, 1880 Garretson Avenue in Corona. I am re-posting this and putting things in chronological order. I am a disabled person; I really needed a trainer because the dog was too wild and if you return a dog to the pound then that dog gets put down. When I adopted this new Pitt, I also adopted another one that was left to die at the pound at 14 years old. I kept that other, much older one for 9 months, and finally just found a forever home for him (he didn't like to be left alone at my house and was very unhappy). So for my new Pitt Puppy (not the older dog), the manager gave me a discount and my money was scarce (and some other trainers charge like 10 grand a month) so I thought it was a good deal. At first, he was friendly, but he soon became constantly rude and ridiculous. I only kept him on because he already had been training my dog and every time I went to go visit her, she seemed okay. She didn't seem abused at any point--until the end. So I had had problems getting the new puppy pitt to get along with my other German Shepherd, so I was taking one, leaving the other, and so on. But my pitt puppy was always there. Then one day I came to pick her up and she had wounds on all of her feet. Her back leg was bleeding. Mike Williams, the trainer, would not even talk to me about any of this, he just gave me attitude and kept complaining about "being fired" by me--because I was firing him right then. All he cared about was being fired. I realize dogs can get wounded at a kennel, so I was open minded and tried to give him a chance, but this was ridiculous. I really tried to ask him what could have caused this. He just got angry. On the way home, I realized she had something (a wound or rash or whatever?) on her face also. I took her to the vet ($650) and the vet said she had wounds consistent with fence injuries and a puncture wound on her back leg and something on her face. I found a very difficult road to get more money, and took my puppy to a new trainer, and that trainer said that "as soon as you put the dog into a kennel--she acts like a rabid dog." I couldn't believe it, so they videotaped it and showed me. They said the prior trainer must have abused her "in the kennel" so she could learn to react like this. I adopted her from a kennel setting and she had never acted like this at all. I had had her for months and nursed her back from a serious case of pneumonia she had gotten at the dog pound, so I knew her and she was not like this at all. During my time paying MIke Williams, he did the following and this is all factual: --he got confused on paid money and then said, "You know I smoke Bud, right?;" --talked to me about the personal business of his clients; --acted rudely and angry and criticized me literally every time I saw him about things not dog related; --told me not to ever give a dog unnecessary affection (constantly said that); --constantly complained about the discount he gave me; --told me he "just wanted to never get another bad review" (to which I replied, aren't you more concerned about giving good service?); -- when I pulled up for his supposed weekly coaching sessions, he ignored me to recruit new clients walking up and down the street; --he bragged about hitting his own dogs but said it would never happen to client's dog (I never saw any clues he abused my dogs and he was very delicate with them in front of me); --I never saw any bad reviews on him (Google) and he sold me on kindness to start off);--when I asked him not to become angry, he said, "Don't say I'm angry!" and got all bothered about that. So the vet bills costed me $650 and I had to look for a new trainer. The new trainers say they are clearly cleaning up the mess from this trainer. I had pre-paid two weeks of fees (hundreds) and he said he'd refund me when I told him i wasn't coming back. He told me he would refund me more than once. Then he never did. The damage he did to my dog psychologically is the main concern--and the physical damage was bad but went away quickly. This is just unbelievable. I really worry about my puppy now and am spending lots of money fixing the mess Mike Williams and his facility caused. He really should not be allowed near dogs at all. When I got my dog home, she drank water for two minutes straight. I have never seen that before. I am utterly disgusted and very angry that he would mistreat a caged animal. One must be a coward to mistreat an animal with a lower IQ than a small child. My groomer said he probably kicked the cage every day. I will never know if he did--but the damage is done. Now I am a disabled person, I am and was doing the best I can. I am just warning other dog owners so they can avoid him. I wish I would have read yelp.
