She is extremely knowledgeable with puppy raising and socialization. We did a mixture of group classes and private lessons once Bear graduated puppy class. With Bethany's help, Bear has built a super solid foundation for sports and useful life skills. Bethany is a good problem solver. She often has creative solutions to curb behavior problems. Her methods are practical for real life situations and she listens to her clients well. Now that my boy is all grown up, we go to PhDogs for their awesome dock diving pool. The process of booking and using the pool is easy. Bear is always so excited to go there. When we occasionally go out of town, PhDogs is the only place I can trust to care for my high drive, intact boy. They also offer swimming lessons during the dog's stay. Bethany actually taught Bear how to swim when he was there for boarding :) I highly recommend PhDogs!!!

I own a puppy from this breeder, and I also rent their pool several times a year. The entire pool rental process is seamless, you simply text to reserve your time, show up, and it's just you and your dog for your entire session. The pool is always clean, well-maintained, and extra long, making it perfect for dogs that love to jump and swim. Whether you're looking for a quality dog, training, or a private place to work your dog in the pool, PH Dogs is definitely worth checking out!

Reed's big brother Sawyer rolled into town from Sacramento this weekend looking like he'd just…read morecrawled out of a wilderness survival documentary -- long, matted fur, nails so overgrown they could've been registered as concealed weapons. My wife and I did what any responsible pet parents would do: administered a full‑scale COVID‑era haircut and booked a 9 AM nail‑trim appointment to finish the job. Once the shop opened, we learned the entire operation was being run by one heroic human that morning. One. A whole grooming shop held together by sheer willpower and caffeine. After we explained Sawyer's situation, this absolute saint of a groomer didn't just agree to trim his nails -- she offered to clean him up for a small fee, with the kind of patience and warmth that could calm a tornado. Minutes later, out strutted a brand‑new dog. Freshly trimmed, nails immaculate, tail wagging like he'd just won a beauty pageant. I tipped more than I planned, but honestly, it still wasn't enough. She earned every penny with her kindness, her skill, and that unwavering smile that said, "Yes, I am single‑handedly keeping this place running, and no, you will not see me break." I wish I remembered her name, but I'll never forget the impression she made. She opened the shop on June 6th and represented that establishment with pride, grit, and genuine heart -- a true gem in the grooming world. PHOTO: Sawyer and Reed

This was my dog's first vet visit, so I was definitely a little nervous going in, but Dr. Hodgeson…read morewas wonderful. My little one was very anxious at first and he did a great job helping put her at ease and making the experience feel much less stressful. The appointment itself was very thorough and everyone took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel rushed. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The office is also immaculate and very well kept, which immediately made a great impression. Another huge plus was how easy it was to get an appointment. I called midweek and was able to get a Saturday appointment, which is extremely convenient for those of us who can't typically make weekday visits work. Overall, a really positive experience and I'm very glad we chose this office

I've visited numerous veterinarians, but none have ever shown such disregard for animals. My…read moredaughter brought her schnauzer here because she had been sick, unable to eat, not gaining weight, and generally feeling unwell. They ran $600.00 in blood tests and found nothing. She took her back, and they prescribed steroids, but they didn't help. She returned, expressing her frustration, and by this point, she was desperate to find a solution for her puppy's condition. Instead of collaborating with her and potentially suggesting some ideas, the doctor seemed uninterested in understanding the issue. When my daughter asked him what they could try, all he could say was, "Well, you can." He offered no suggestions whatsoever. My daughter even suggested a biopsy, which he had recommended during the previous appointment, and suddenly, it was "well, we can." Naturally concerned about her dog's well-being, my daughter returned, and they prescribed her Metoclopramide. However, this made her worse. She became lethargic, refused to eat, and slept excessively, acting completely different from her usual self. Instead of trying to diagnose the problem, they seemed more interested in masking the symptoms. As a result, we still don't know what's wrong with her. I believe that when they see my daughter, they perceive her as a young child, which is why they treated her differently. I would strongly advise against visiting this vet. These veterinarians don't care about the animals or their owners; they're just there to make money. They don't want to put in the effort to figure out what's wrong with the animals; they simply want everything to be easy. I feel that since they couldn't figure it out, they didn't want to deal with it anymore. The last visit, my daughter also asked if she would still be able to be spayed even though she's been vomiting. The vet proceeded to tell her yes, she doesn't have to tell them that she's vomiting.
