Our salesperson Glen first met us at our house and helped us plan a pool that would fit into our small yard. Then there was plenty of options to choose from in their showroom, and he provided us with excellent advice on the finishes and choices. Once the project got underway, there were no unpleasant surprises, and Robert the project manager became our contact. Robert operates at a next level of excellence that made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. While scheduling every step of the pool construction he kept us in the loop and was very accommodating to our requests to integrate multiple other projects into the timeline (generator and tiki hut) so that other companies had access to the yard at important moments, such as after the pool was "shot" but before the pavers went down etc. All of the contractors involved (electric, plumbing, digging, concrete, paving etc.) were professional, polite and knowledgeable and did excellent work. Jimmy, , the other Jimmy, and Travis wrapped things up with us in the final days, and again they were knowledgeable, professional and polite. This is the second time we have installed a pool from scratch (previously we did one in New Mexico), so we had a previous experience to compare this to. The cost of building a pool has gotten so expensive, so quality and value has become even more important to us. All 3 pool builders came in around a thousand dollars from each other, and I chose Natural Springs Pools because of their superior Google reviews and being in the business for over 40 years. I'm so glad that I have chosen them as my pool builder now that the project has completed. From the start, Matt designed a pool that my wife and I both loved. We were presented with a full video rendering of the pool and the surrounding area vs. a typical 2-D drawing. He incorporated in his design our wants and needs while offered some cost saving measures along the way as well. We were assigned a full time project manager, Lauren, and site supervisor, Jeremy, to manage the project. I'm building my own custom home dealing with dozens of sub-contractors at the same time. I would have to say the pool/screen building was the easiest job that I, as the owner/builder, had to manage. The pool was completed on time. There were some issues during the process with any constructions; however, each were quickly addressed and to my full satisfactions. It was as close to problem free construction as one can get. Once the pool was filled with water, Jimmy came over to start up the pool. The entire process will last about 30 days. He went over the equipment and maintenance with me during the 'pool school'. Although I have owned and maintained several pools for my previous homes, I still find the school to be very valuable. During the pool design, we met with Louis and he was very thorough walking us through all of our options and giving us helpful recommendations. During the build, I cannot say enough about our construction manager Mardy! At the start, he let us know exactly what to expect so that there were no surprises. He communicated with us constantly throughout every step of the process. He made this process as painless as possible for us. Over 13 months since contact signed and more than 8 months(36 weeks) now since dig date and our pool is still not ready to be plastered. We have been patient, but there have been so many avoidable delays. Until I started calling every day our pool was on the back burner. We should have been done in January and now we're looking at maybe being able to swim in July and even then we have a laundry list of warranty work that will have to be completed after. Our stone and deck work quality is subpar in areas but you get to the point where you accept mediocre even though you paid a premium. Read the bad reviews Before you decide to go with this company, they are All True. We knew that due to the pandemic it would be a waiting list to start building the pool and construction as well, if that's the Only bad part we could have lived with it. Only positive review I can give is to Julie our sales rep and Robert the first superintendent that started the project. Honestly, we were very surprised in the beginning that things were going very smooth and even referred them to my neighbors, which we regretted big time as now they are in a even worst situation than ours. Once 2nd site supervisor Jxsxn took over, that's when all bad started, he did very minimal supervision on their sub contractor works, causing many error/issues/problems on the site, safety issues as safety net was just thrown aside ... Our backyard became a landfill / dumpster. There were lunch boxes, bottle drinks, cups, pieces of pipes, debris everywhere, see yourself from pictures that we took as Proof which is worth more than a thousand words. No communication at all, contractors shows up to have them turn around and leave because not all the materials were delivered, and this happened 3 times wasting weeks of work. By the way, Proof of communication are All from our side, letting Lxxren know that materials have arrived and sending out pictures letting Jxsxn know that things need to be cleaned up before the footing crew is here due to a tropical storm that went through. Owner won't even bother to speak to you when you asked for a meeting, being told that he's usually not there and don't know when he will be there. So IF you are the Owner of this company Really reading these reviews, besides blaming it to the pandemic and telling us you are sorry or understand our frustration and that you have been doing this for more than 40 years, face and fix the problems. We, as customers that are paying for a product should Not be the ones that suffers from your lack of coordination within your own organization and excuses that becomes lies. Now, filed warranty more than 3 months ago, they did sent multiple personnel over, unfortunately all they did was wasting time, look around and said that should be another person's job and will let the company know - so do Not expect warranty, it's worthless. Be prepared to hire outside companies to finish the problems that will come up or wait until 1 year is Up and hire a defect attorney. After 3 months, they will totally Ignore you, including the warranty manager that was suppose to be very responsive. So don't tell us what you honor and warrant when no one even bothers to get back to you to give you a timeline besides knowing it's "supposed" to be warranted within 1 year. Thank you for responding. A couple of issues with your response. 1. The delay on starting was completely on your side, not mine. I did not know you wanted to start that week, until I emailed you to find out why you had not started yet. I then jumped through hoops to get things done that week, so you could start the next week (the 16th). 2. The rescheduling, that you say was agreed upon by both parties, was done on the morning of the 16th, after I had taken the day off to be there when they started. That is when I received a phone call at 8:17 AM that morning, and that is when we decided to hold off. (Because apparently you all 'forgot' that you would be closed those 2 weeks. It must have been the first year you all did that.) 3. There was little to no communication during the process. (Did you even read the letter I sent and attached here?) 4. As far as the time frame for building, you did hit your build time frame. You just started 2ish months late. 5. As far as COVID, I do understand that things happen. Some level of communication and honesty would have gone a long way with these issues. People said they would be out, then did not show up. They said they would do something, then did not do it. Our pool dig was suppose to start tomorrow, sadly that will not be the case. It's 100% understandable, However I had to call multiple times to find out that it was not going to start. Communication so far is the biggest hurdle I'm having. I get that times are busy and that things are hectic, but as a business owner myself I know that some things are controllable and communication is one of them. Nightmare from the beginning... they subcontract nearly every aspect of the build out and when there's a problem (And there have been SEVERAL) it's not THEIR fault as they don't oversee their subcontractors... caught sleeping on the job, cracked my sidewalk which I have to pay to repair, cracked pavers, a condescending owners wife (Leslie) and an absent owner (Michael)... unsightly things done to my pool that was NOT on the blueprint... taking MONTHS to fix cosmetic issues... always making excuses as to why the ineptitude of their project manager and scheduler is not their fault. This company was amazing to work with! We were unsure on the design so Louis was very helpful in providing us ideas to come up with a final decision. Due to rain delays, the project took a bit longer but Natural Springs was great at keeping us in the loop on the next steps and what was occurring with the project. They have also been very responsive on small corrections we noticed once we started using the pool post completion. I wish zero stars was an option because it's appropriate here. Often you don't learn about a company until it's too late. That's the case with Natural Springs. This company built our pool and were quite communicative while they were asking for our business, but once we signed the contract they pretty much never communicated unless I had to ask - like when are they coming back out to finish the pool. Once finished I never got a 'thanks for your business.' But I can live with all that. The worst part was after the pool was finished. I only called once during the warranty period to report the filtration system wasn't working properly. The technician they sent out said he was a private contractor who did not actually work for the company. I asked him what it cost for him to come out and he said it costs $30 if I wanted to contract with him directly after the warranty ran out. Once he looked at the system he said I wasn't using the right spray nozzle to effectively clean it. He told me what to buy and spent 30 minutes at the house cleaning the filter himself. I had cleaned the filter at least twice a month up to that point. All seemed good until a few weeks later I got a bill from Natural Springs for $150. Ya. $150 for 30 minutes and while the pool was under warranty. And mind you I had never called for any other issue after the pool was completed. It was my first and only warranty call. I took the bill up with the owner after going back and forth with the accounting department and was told they would not settle for anything less than $125. What a complete rip off and slimy way to do business with someone who spends $40k on a pool. I later related this story to my neighbor who I had not known also used Natural Springs and she said she had been treated worse by Natural Springs - many problems and no response and no repairs. They just passed the buck and refused to do anything for her. There are lots of pool companies in Tampa. Go anywhere else! read more

Process of planning and designing the layout was very good. Matt does a great job in listening to what our needs were. Overall construction was good with the exception of a few communication gaps due to the numerous superintendents during each stage of construction. Be prepared for that. Our issue has been with performing the punch list. We developed the punch list almost 3 months ago and they cannot seem to finish. We ask for an update weekly and cannot get an accurate answer or they order the wrong material. Pool has been open for almost 3 months and we cannot use any of the decking area waiting on decking/coping to be replaced and acid wash performed. No other choice but legal action at this point as they are now non-responsive. You have been warned. read more
