Red Rhino holds their employees to the highest standards I've ever seen in a company. To say I'm impressed is a strong understatement. Over the past several years I've consistently worked with people and companies who severely lack attention to detail, fail to communicate properly and almost always fall short of expectations. My faith in company professionalism was tarnished - until now. We hired Red Rhino to detect a leak in our high end pool built by a luxury pool builder in the area. The leak was suspected due to the need for high chemical use and a more than double water bill. From the first phone call to the final follow-up call, Red Rhino far exceeded my expectations. Because of the complicated jet system in our spa, the leak took many visits to detect. Several hours were spent and several different men worked on it tirelessly, even into the evening hours regardless of the cold temperature. They always kept the screen door closed as I asked so our small dog wouldn't escape. Our dog loves to put the ball and in the pool and have humans fetch it out. Each man working on our spa would even get the ball for her! In a situation like this, with multiple different people I would absolutely have expected a break down in communication where someone would end up leaving the door open or not know where the person before them left off or something else to go wrong. Their communication and attention to detail is second to none. They have an app they use to track EVERY detail of each visit. One of them even showed me their side of the app where they can see notes left by each person. They continuously documented details such as "be sure to leave the screen door closed for the dog" and even mentioned her name and behavior. Each and every person who worked on this job was 1000% professional, very personable, incredibly kind, thoughtful and even apologetic for the length of time it was taking to locate the leaks. They took the time to show me the leaks when they found them and explained all the details. They also took clear, specific photos and underwater video of the leaks which can be seen at any time on the customer portal. They documented everything and we have access to all of it. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, they discounted the cost of the repairs because of how long it took them to find the leaks in the first place. It's uncommon for them to take more than one, maybe two visits to locate a leak and since mine took many days, they didn't feel it was the right thing to do to charge us the full cost even when we expressed it wasn't their fault. If I could give Red Rhino 50 stars, I would. I hope we don't have any future leaks but if we do, we would hire them again without hesitation. I simply can't recommend them enough! Every company across any industry could and should learn from Red Rhino's integrity, professionalism and work ethic. They set the bar and every company should strive to meet that bar! read more

We had a leak in our pool, but we didn't know where the leak was. Dale and Darryn came out to "diagnose" the problem. The source of the problem was found quickly and the repair was set up for the following week. Steven was the repair guy. All 3 were very professional and super sweet! I can't speak to the value because I have no reference, but to repair the leak around the light was around $2000. If this seems pricey, remember you get what you pay for. Forrest was a very polite technician. Unfortunately, while he was inspecting my pool for leaks at $350, he told me that there was bad news, and it would cost to fix 1200.00, but there was a $200 discount and said it would be $995. As time went on, more bad news. It was now going to cost $2200. As he inspected further, more bad news. It was now going to cost $3000, and so we agreed I would put another $250 on top of the $350 to secure a appointment (I assume to go toward the total). But wait, more inspection and it was now going to cost $4500. Not too professional, if you ask me. Inspect. Go over all possibilities, write up a form and present ONE estimate. I have never experienced such trouble with a company in my 50 years of home ownership. leak was detected with no problem until repairs were started. Pool was drained about 14 inches. repair was done. to their satisfaction, but when I inspected it there were several areas of concern. skimmer was replaced but not flush with deck, cement replacement was not tinted to color to match. second time they came out to fix the repair work they said they didn't have the tint to match, third time out they had to drain pool again to tint the cement. I had been told I had a one year warranty on the work done. I had to call them four times to finally receive it. they told me I would get some kind of credit for water drained twice. I had to call five times to get something in writing about that and now I am told "I" have to contact the water company to resolve that. I would not use this company for any repairs unless you have nothing else to do but make calls to them for answers. what a horrible business to do business with. what a nightmare. read more

Leaking pool. Denial. Fill it up. Evaporation. Anything but the...leak detection and repair. Then the hot tub was empty. Not low, Empty! Red Rhino, recommended by our pool service, prompt and Very thorough! $5000 to dig out and replace skimmer as well as hot tub main drain and an additional crack. Epoxy'd for a temporary fix, 2.5 weeks later here they are, doing an excellent job. My wife was Thrilled with their work. I'm thrilled when my wife is thrilled. Great photos provided along the way. Excellent communication. Rep that quoted the repair was right on the nose with diagnosis. Carbon staples (??!!!) to stop crack from spreading. Best $$ we have spent on the house so far. When we started with a new pool care service, the guy/owner told me he does not usually make recommendations but he had heard of Red Rhino, and he made sure to say, in so many nice words, please do not hold me responsible for their work if you use them. When you get a $500 water bill, you know you have a problem! Got a new faucet for the kitchen, but no that wasn't the culprit, it was the pool....thinking that still, sends chills down my back. "The crew was fabulous", very impressed. Chase & Sean were the initial "technicians" they came out to do a thorough run through from equipment, structural, pressure, you name it they inspected our pool almost 2 hours. I knew with all the rain central Florida was getting our pool was losing water but that's when I contacted Red Rhino Leak Detection. After the inspection they explained the report they generate from a tablet and they emailed me a written report within 3 hours. They were patient and thorough and I made it clear we do not want a BanAid fix but a permanent fix. They guarantee their work up to 1 year and after checking out their company and getting a "stamp of approval" from our regular Pinch A Penny technician Trey they use them exclusively so I went ahead an booked them in less than a week and then the "repair technicians" Jeremy & Guillermo came out and did a run through with me and explained what will be done and do we have any questions. Well those 2 were both awesome & so professional. We have a salt system pool with a Pebble Tec interior finish and they really worked hard to match the Pebble Tec finish on my pool walls and they did, I was thrilled!
