Foot pain got you down? Invest in some Berks! Finally stopped in here after driving past this on the way to Kailua frequently. We ended up buying multiple pairs of our favorite Birkenstocks. The BEST and most comfortable shoes we love to walk everywhere in. Standard pricing you will see most places. I appreciate this place does not try to rip you off by price marking up like other retailers. It's on the pricey side ($50-$200) depending on what style you get, but we've owned pairs that last several years. Quality really matters. Sammy was the most helpful employee! Mike was very knowledgeable so I totally trusted him- service was great but was told that there used to be an "adjustment " time to get used to the Birkenstocks (my first pair). My daughter bought 2 pairs the day before so I tried hers and now I realize the problem - the size I was sold is too big- my daughter and I wear the same size and the pair I was sold was a size too large. What a wonderful place to get shoes within walking distance from Kailua town. I need a new pair of sandals , when my old pair finally died in the middle of my vacation. I looked in yelp and this place had good reviews and looked like they could meet my needs. First of all , they had exactly what I wanted, a hiking sandal. The sales person could not have of been more helpful. I tried many options and finally pick out what I thought was best for me. I then walk the mile and one half back to town in my new sandals. NO FOOT PAIN FOR YOU! Thanks to reviews from fellow Yelpers, I was directed to Naturally Birkenstock in Kailua when one of my sandals "bit the dust" after 18 years of wear and tear. Yeah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to these iconic, well-crafted and quality footwear from Germany. But, when it comes to comfort and support for my feet, style is secondary to me as fit matters more. Naturally Birkenstock has a huge inventory of comfortable and supportive casual and work footwear. They focus on brands such as Birkenstock, Teva, Chaco and Red Wing. Naturally Birkenstock shares a parking lot in a small strip mall with an Aloha Gas Station and 7-Eleven store close to the intersection of Kailua Road and Kalanianaole Highway. I was surprised that this store isn't located in the heart of Kailua town although I found it rather easily while driving towards Honolulu on Kailua Road. When I walked in, there was only one worker and she was busy with a customer. She took the time to greet and acknowledge me as I went about browsing the shelves of Birkenstock sandals looking for a replacement. What I noticed immediately as did the customer was this worker's friendly and helpful demeanor. The customer was even surprised that the worker would "buckle" the sandals to fit her while fitting her and she had never experienced a shoe fitter like this worker. Because I usually wear Birkenstock, I knew my size so it was more about selecting a style and color. I made my choices and waited a few more moments for the other customer to complete her transaction. Lynnea was the name of this fun, friendly and helpful worker. She quickly went to her inventory and got the styles and size that I requested. In fact she said the style that I chose was so new to the store that she hadn't even gotten to finish unpacking them into inventory. So yay, she had the style, color and size I was looking for. As I was completing my transaction, I told her about my old "dead" Arizona-style sandals which I had glued the footbed back onto the sole after wearing it out over nearly 18 years. She recommended the Birkenstock repair kit for future care but I already use it which is why my sandals lasted this long. I'll be back to this authorized retailer and Birkenstock store for more of my support and comfortable footwear whenever I'm in the Windward side of O'ahu. read more

When you find a shoe store that carries Birkenstock, they are limited with sizes, style and color. So you have to check this little store that has a HUGE selection...and more comfy foot wear! Small little store in a small little gas station strip mall. The store has mostly Birkenstock, teva, and working boots. I got a pair of Birkenstock for my mom but wasn't sure of the size. So I guessed and the lady said it would be an easy exchange with a gift receipt if it didn't fit. We did need to do an exchange and it was super easy to do an exchange. Pricing on Birkenstock is around $100 a pair but they also had a sale section which is rare for Birkenstock. The sales rep was nice and helpful on sizing too. read more

Got sore feet? I've worn Birkenstocks in the past, and now that I have sore feet, I made a trip to Naturally Birkenstock during my lunch break last week. As the other reviews pointed out, Keely knows her stuff and did a great job in helping me identify the right fit and try on several different varieties of Birks. This is not your mother's brown suede Birkenstock store--there are so many styles now!! They probably do still have the brown suede ones too. Prices are exactly the same as what's on the website, so you know it's competetive. I even scored a rare sale deal. Keely was thorough, but efficient. I left the store with a great selection of Birks to test out to see what works best for my needs. Of course she tempted me to come back to see the new items she had ordered, and said that some items aren't even available online. Uh oh, I'm in trouble now!! Naturally Birkenstock also sells safety work shoes and some accessories such as Healthy Back brand bags. It is very nice to have a Birkenstock store here in Kailua. However the customer service there by the older lady was subpar and the store has ordering issues. Very unfriendly and not welcoming. The younger lady was much more helpful and friendly. We ordered a pair of Birks over a month ago through the store in exchange of a size and still have NOT received the shoes. And every time we called, we were greeted by the lady's unfriendly and unapologetic voice. We should have returned the shoes and got my money back, but we were convinced to do the exchange then. Well they took the money and still have not given us the shoes. Pro tip: do NOT order anything from the store if they don't have the size or style you want. Love that there is a good amount of selection for the various brands this location has. Although the woman that was working was very short tempered. She was helpful but seemed like she didn't want to be there and I could feel a bit of attitude. I was in search of gold sandals (Arizona) and they had a Pair of rose gold ones! There was only one salesperson so there was a wait, but when it became our turn, she was lovely, accommodating - made me feel as if I was the only person that had her full attention. I ended up walking out of the store with three pairs of shoes because the color selection was just what I had needed and the saleswoman fitted me , discovering I had been wearing the wrong size shoe for years! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is looking for high quality, heavy duty work boots and other kinds of long-lasting footwear. While the products here can be somewhat pricey, believe me when I say that it's more than worth it: I bought a pair of 6-inch Flexbond work boots from this store back in 2015, and three years and two labor intensive jobs later, they're still going strong! Apart from some minor scratches, they've held up extremely well; in addition to being completely waterproof, they're fully insulated and very comfortable without being too tight. In addition, the composite toe protectors are a godsend, since the metal ones in my previous pair would always set off the metal detectors at my old job, forcing me to remove them every morning at work. The best part of these shoes by far however, is the BOA lacing system. It was tricky to master at first, but now it's so easy! Just slip on the boots, press the button down, twist until the cables are tight enough, and you're good to go! This feature is especially handy if you're in a hurry, and don't have time to tie your shoes; and it takes less than half the time! In short, this is the best store to get heavy duty work boots and other footwear; and the prices of their products are outweighed by both their quality and durability! 10 out 5 stars! read more

Tucked in the corner of a small 7/11 complex on Kailua Road we always new it to be a working shoe store. To our surprise they have the latest and most fashionable Birkenstocks ever. Plus! Keely the sales associate is super knowledgeable about the product and all types of feet. And she is super friendly and helpful. The prices are your typical because this is the real deal and you're paying for quality. So be prepared but know it'll last especially if you take care of it. They have parking available including handicap. And like I said, Keely is super nice and very helpful. She didn't mind getting down to help me as I couldn't at all.
