    Tantulus Lookout

This was a great experience our driver Jason and our guide Anoi were amazing and answered all of our questions. The ride to Manoa Falls was smooth. The hike to the waterfall wasn't hard but the terrain was rocky, uneven, and unstable. But the views and nature were beautiful. The waterfall was breathtaking. The atmosphere was humid, you will sweat. After the hike we picked up sandwiches and they took us to Tantulus Lookout to eat and enjoy the spectacular view. Overall I would recommend this tour 100%.

Excellent hike and adventure for the family. Amazing views in the rainforest, very close to Waikiki. The guide did a great job explaining the main sites, the vegetation and the plant life in the forest. Susumu (guide) did a great job and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend for families wanting a break from the sun. Susumu had bug spray and ponchos ready for us which proved very helpful. At the End of the hike, we stopped for a nice açaí bowl overlooking the island.

Jackson, our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable about different aspects of Hawaii and specifically our planned tour. The hike and waterfall were just perfect. A must do for visiting Hawaii.

My daughter and I took the waterfall hike tour yesterday. It was the perfect amount of time at the Manoa Falls trail and saw the beautiful waterfalls. Lunch from Andy's was so good also with a beautiful view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. Our tour guide, Jackson, was so fun and engaging with our entire group. I would highly recommend this and hope you get Jackson as your guide.

Our first time in Hawaii and I really wanted to do a nature hike that would lead to a waterfall. I happened on this website while looking. Our guide was awesome, Jody was extremely friendly and informative. He made sure my sister made it up okay since she has bad knees. This hike is easy even for people who have never gone hiking. I really enjoyed this hike especially once we got to the waterfall. We were able to take a break and take photos. Afterwards, we had a healthy lunch (delicious by the way) and ate it at the park. I would really recommend anyone wanting to do this hike to book through this website.

It's about 20 mins north from the main Waikīkī area. When you drive up, there may be a parking attendant that tells you to pay 7$ (unless you have a Hawai'i license/ID). I don't think it's heavily enforced (for example if the attendant goes on break, you may be able to drive right by and they probably won't know but I guess that's luck) in any case there's signs also recommending you pay 7$ to park. You have two options here in terms of parking. The first spot will tell you on Google Maps that it's 6min to the farthest spot. There's more parking here and shaded picnic areas to enjoy the view off in the distance. From here you can keep driving or you can walk there, it's just a short walk over a small hill (6min is an overestimate IMO). There is a small shaded area but this area is mostly exposed to sun and the elements. However it offers the best and mostly unobstructed views of the city and diamond head. In any case this is a nice alternate to diamond head as the hiking/walking is kept to a minimum. Highly recommend if you can make the trip

Then there were all of the department Christmas trees, and we didn't even have time for the outdoor decorations before hopping back on!
