Not worth YOUR MONEY !!! I Wanted ballerina shaped nails INSTEAD, I got this. I paid $40 for a shitty job.

A lot of men walk in to get massages.. Makes you wonder if they provide happy endings. Yuck. Got my nails done by Michelle, she did a bad job. So I wanted her to fix it or to give me my money back and she said that if I wanted her to fix it I had to pay more money and I had to wait 2 hours because that's when she had time. I told her I wasn't going to pay anymore money. An hour later a lady came in and Michelle started doing Her nails. When I asked Michelle if she was going to fix my nails started screaming at me. Jessie fixed the bad job Michelle did. Never again!!! Waste of my time and money. A client told me to talk to the owner that Wendy was the owner. When I told Wendy the problem she said she wasn't the owner.

Got my nails done by Jessie, and I love it every time. Even though she is far, since I live in Brooklyn. But for UV gel nails, I can never find anyone in Brooklyn to do the same nail art like she can. I eventually always end up going back to her.

I brought my own nail polish. Mint candy apple by Essie. Lasted about two weeks.

I went on a Friday morning because I know it gets packed. I arrived around 11am. I got a mani and pedi. The pedi was good just one thing thru me off was that the instruments were in a dirty container and old. The woman who did mine didn't speak much English so I was just on my phone. I like that they don't rush with it. I hate when u get a lousy job done and rush you out of there. I like that it lasted me two weeks and I cook. I just think next time I'm bringing my own nail instruments. I'm scared to do waxing there because it isn't the prettiest place.

Service: Gel Mani and French pedicure Pro's: Jesse was the woman that worked with me. She's very quick but thorough with her work. She also included my opinion and requests in every step from the color to the shape to the design and placements of the decorations. I really appreciate it wen I go to a salon, whether it be for hair or nails or waxing, and they include me in the services I'm paying for. Also, I walked in not too sure if I wanted a french gel mani or if i wanted something a lot flashier like french gel with decorations etc. My bf and I both like simple/clean looks but it was so hard to resist being tempted by the other pictures/experiences i saw on yelp and in her store. Plus i was getting my nails done for an anniversary vacation so i wanted to be dolled up... Anywhoooo, so I showed her a few pictures from yelp and then I showed her some pictures of other customers' nails on her wall and gave her an idea of what i liked/wanted and she delivered. She gave me glittery tips with decorations she picked out for me, with me, and positioned them for me. I wasn't happy at first b/c the glitter seemed so overwhelming and very gaudy but as she shaped the nail and cleaned up the sides the pattern of the glitter was just so cute and clean i requested nail ornaments as well. I was very impressed with how each speck of glitter was placed in such a nice purposeful pattern... and the nail decors were my cherries on top of it all~ They were also placed so neatly and purposefully. Con's: All in all, as much as I am in love with the final product tho, I can't really give them five stars b/c first off they aren't very clean... The tables were dirty and the equipment didn't seem to be sterilized as often as they should be. Cuticle cutters with nail polish on them and toothpick type of wooden sticks also with nail polish on them were sprawled on either sides of the tables. The brushes as well which she used for applying the gel weren't well kept either. After she finished applying gel to my nails she just wiped it between two papers and put it back in her drawer... and when she finished filing my nails she didn't even wipe the table down with any cleaning agents... she just wiped with a small dry piece of papertowel. I was the only customer in the store so it doesn't take much to pick up a clorox wipe or even windex or SOMETHING to wipe the table down of my ground up nails... I don't know... It didn't feel good to see... Another con they have is that it was very pricy... Not sure wat other salons are charging for this service but it was $63 for just my gel nails today with the decorations.. maybe i'm just behind in this all but i feel like this is a bit too much to pay for glitter, gel, and three tiny nail ornaments?... i just sucked it up and paid it cuz she really took a lot of care and attention to all the details in doing my nails and gave me service with a smile which is SOO rare to find these days ... Conclusion: Despite the uncleanliness and the prices, I LOVE MY NAILS~ probably will go again next year to prep up for my honey and i's next anniversary vacation unless i can find another location with better prices and better hygienic practices that can provide the same quality end product~

I don't know what they put in their polish/coats but after nearly 3 weeks, NONE of it chipped off, which is totally unheard of to me.

I can't stop looking at my nails!…read more I've never done my nails outside before, so I was excited when my friend suggested doing our nails here. The spa is located on the second floor. Make sure to call to secure a spot, as they can easily get booked! The place is cash only, with tax if you Venmo/Zelle. The place was very chill, with the nail techs chatting with each other throughout my experience while they casually work their magic. I got the Gel Manicure ($40). They started off asking me to pick a color from a selection of books. Then the nail tech asked what shape I wanted, and began filing, shaping, and trimming my cuticles. Note to self and other nail newbies that nails need to grow out super long if you want square gel nails, to prevent the gel from touching your skin. The process was overall very relaxing, and fascinating for me to see the amount of care the lady puts into perfecting my nails. The process took around 1 hour 30 minutes, and even with my first time nails, the lady was chill and accommodated with patience, tips, and skill in making the gel manicure work on my short nails. Both my friend and I were very satisfied. My friend had the Regular Manicure ($15) and she noted how they added a finishing nail enamel spray, which other places don't do. Consider Arete for your next girls self care day!

Extremely Disappointed After 2+ Years of Loyalty -- Very Money-Hungry Business That Doesn't Value…read moreCustomers My sister and I have been loyal, consistent clients at this salon for over two years. Sadly, our recent experience has shown that they care more about money than treating their customers with basic respect and professionalism. I sent a deposit to secure an appointment, clearly expecting it to go toward the booking. At no point did I say it was a tip. The owner had previously canceled on me last minute, and I was understanding. Instead of asking for a refund, I chose to reschedule. When rescheduling, I was told a time with no clarification of AM or PM. Since I asked for the earliest slot, I assumed AM. I traveled from Brooklyn to Queens early in the morning and waited 45 minutes without a single response to my texts or calls. Hours later, I was finally told to come back. Frustrated but still loyal, I canceled other plans and returned--only to be offered a free manicure to make up for the mix-up. That day, my Uber costs alone were over $100--more than the cost of the service. Given all the inconvenience, I chose not to leave a tip, which is well within my rights as tipping is optional. I usually always tip, but not after that experience. Later, I was refused service completely--because I wanted to apply the deposit I had already sent toward a new appointment rather than let them keep it as a tip. Denying a loyal customer over something so small and unjustified is beyond unprofessional. This business lost two long-time clients over a situation that could've been resolved with basic communication and decency. If you value your time, money, and being treated with respect--go elsewhere And I'm happy you responded the way you did because you only proved my point more of how viewed your customers as optional and I wasn't valued as a customer after 2 years of loyalty and consistent tipping !

Reservation strongly recommended…read more Ive been here a few times and always my first choice when it comes to good quality great service. I have never made a reservation so Ive always had to wait. This previous time I came, I kept coming back in 1 hour intervals with no availability. I decided to wait the last time I came back and was able to get my nails done. My nails last and have not chipped yet. (It has been 2 weeks!) It's very relaxing and they have stands for your phone if you decide to watch a show. Their designs are great and they gave me exactly what I asked for. Although my sister's mermaid tail design looked nothing like a mermaid tail... I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for lasting nail with great design!

Went here 2x in one week: first time for the manicure and second time for the repair…read more Will I go back? NO The picture of both hands is what we all ideally want but.... Quality of service 1/5 Some ladies translate amongst and for each other and that's okay but what is not okay for them to miscommunicate pricing to the costumer I asked the same question 3x to the person who spoke English: 1. Are those colors the same price? 2. No extra charge? 3. No more money? And the English speaking one said NO and another lady who does not speak English does my manicure and uses cat eye, which ends up being $25 extra at the end I ask them why because I clarified 3x and they gossip in Chinese not knowing I understand it that it was me not willing to pay it so they waived it forcibly and rolled their eyes at me and didn't talk to me. I still tipped 25% and leave $40 gel manicure $10 hard gel extra charge The lady that actually does your nails and not translating the first time? Friendly and that's 1 star The second one named Mia: pretend friendly BUT manipulative "There is morning wrong with our hard gel, your nail is just hard. You should have paid for the $90 UV gel instead of the $50 hard gel" and does NOT pay attention to detail NOR take feedback well Skill 2/5 You can tell they are trained in batches because they all utilize the same technique and it's only good if they are good and it's really bad if it's bad My First Lady: the 2 stars are for her My Second Lady: Paying attention to detail is SO not her skill NOR is taking feedback My Second Lady glued the end extension crooked and refused to take it out so just kept on filing until the nail was too short and not even with others. All other nails are concave. The extension is convex and titled out to an angle way too the left. The top coat from Second Lady: uneven with big dips and bumps and I will NOT wanna go back a 3x to let her fix it. With gel manicures, the top coat is everything and they ruined it I still tipped Second Lady 25% because if you speak up, they scream at you, give you attitude, and the door is locked unless they unlock it remotely Vibe 0/5 They are hot and cold re customer service wise and the second half of the store is under remodeling with some loud thumping. The first half can be more tidy albeit no remodeling. Back hand washing station is overcrowded. Walkway to the bathroom pass the hand washing station is dark Pricing 0/5 If I was paying for quality service and skill, this would have been slightly above average pricing in Flushing but because you get bad service and no attention to detail, it's a 0 Three days later after my first visit, 2 of my nails broke albeit I had hard gel. So the extra $10 for THEIR hard gel won't make a difference versus regular At first they said repair was free 2x but they were going to just paint of over the broken nails with no extension or filing meaning you were gonna have 4 long almond and 1 short square/jagged nail on each hand. And the nail tech proceeded to do that until I told her to please take the gel off my broken infield nail and put an extension on it so all nails are even length and shape and she said $10 for each, so the repair was $20 and not free. That's okay, but to think they really were gonna let you leave the studio like that SMH Also the supposed top coat they give you on all your nails after you repair 2-bumpy and uneven--huge dips and throws all the money you used previously on all other fingers out the window. Gel depends 90% on top coat This is above average pricing in flushing with really sh*tty service and below average skill. Check out Arete Beauty instead! Cheaper (cat eye is an extra $10 not $25) and better skill set and service but make an appointment

Regular manicures are only $10 but pedicures are double at $20. I believe gel manicures are $25 but I don't usually get them as they tend to dry out my nails unless it's a special occasion. On both occasions, I had a different technician working on my nails but they were both lovely and did a wonderful job on my nails. They took their time to file, buff, cut, paint, dry, and spray the enamel sprays on my nails. My nails lasted a good month or so so I'm very happy with the lasting power as well!

We came in on a monday afternoon, and they accepted walkins, at the time, as they were not many customers present. Although my manicure did take quite a while at about 2.5-3hrs, my nail tech did a very good job. Spent my time watching "Immortal Samsara." It was my first time getting acrylic nail extensions, so I did not know what to expect in the process. He reccomended this color for the cat eye polish, and I think it was a cute color! Service was nice, I guess the only thing I have to complain about was the smell inside, I believe it was from the acrylic power solution (the monomer solution). The entire process was $85 without tip, a bit pricey in my opinion ‍. May come back here for the location convinience with my friends again.
